Akame and Kurome were running through the Gifnora Forest. Because of Man-Eating plants, they had to take a detour. They were already very tired because they killed some of the danger beasts in the way. Currently, Akame was carrying Kurome on her back. They were just few meters away from reaching the goal. However, before they could reach the goal and rejoice, someone appeared and stood on their path.
The person was a middle-aged man. He had long black mustaches and beard. The beard was tied. He wore red pants and knee length metallic shoes. There were chains hanging on his waist where the pants reached. Up, he was shirtless, and a long pirate coat was draped on it. The front of coat was open and hence his chest could be seen.
He was wearing golden gauntlets on his hands. And there was also a long hook attached on his right-hand gauntlet. He had a sleepy eye as he looked at the duo. Still, even in those sleepy eyes' coldness could be seen.
Akame face turned pale seeing him. Sense of dread gripped her heart. All her instincts were screaming to run. She didn't know why but she could tell that, this person was after her life. Her body also started quivering. She wanted to run but her just won't move.
'Akame: Move. Move. MOVE. MOVEEEEEEEEEEEE.'
No matter how much she screamed in her mind, it was useless. Nevertheless, there was someone who helped were snapped out of her fear.
Kurome: Big Sister.
Kurome words snapped Akame out of her thoughts. She could feel her little sister quivering on her back.
'Akame: I will protect Kurome. No matter what.'
Gathering her courage, Akame turned and ran. Even though she knew it was dangerous going back into forest, she still could tell that that man was more dangerous than any danger beasts inside. As she was running, she sensed a danger and jumped to the side.
BANG!!!

A bullet went passed where was just a moment ago and an area around it was destroyed completely. Akame breathing became haggard witnessing the destruction. If she hadn't jumped at the last moment, then she and Kurome would have been dead by now. She looked back and saw a golden red gun in the man's hand.
???: Oh. You dodged. Can't say I am surprised. If it was that easy to kill the heroine of the world, then all the Heroes and Heroines would have long died.
Akame didn't understand what he meant by that. Not that she cared at this moment. She hurried got up and rushed into the forest.
???: Run. I think I will enjoy this cat and mouse chase for some time. So, run as fast as you can and as far as you can.
Saying this, the man started to follow them.
Akame was running deeper and deeper into forest. In between she almost got caught by the Danger Beast, however, with luck she somehow managed to survive. Though, she often heard the sound of gunshots behind. It's been quite a while since she had been running. Her legs were screaming in pain. Even her tiny feet were bleeding. Still, Akame gritted her teeth and kept on running.
At this time, she saw something from the corner of her eyes. A small black ball flew past her. Her eyes opened wide as she a wire like thing attached to it and spark could be seen at the end of it. The ball touched the ground in front of her and exploded.

Akame & Kurome: Argh!!!!!!!
The explosion injured them and threw them away. Akame and Kurome were thrown at different direction. Even while on ground, Akame moved her heaad towards the direction of Kurome. There she was Kurome with injuries laying on the ground just like her.
Akame: Kur..ome......
Kurome also turned her head towards Akame direction with some difficulty.
Kurome: Big...…Sis.ter...…
They both then started crawling towards each other. Even if their bodies were hurting, even if their elbows were bleeding, they still kept on crawling towards each other. Completely ignoring their surroundings. Soon they reached. They raised their upper bodies. However, when they were about to hug...…

They heard a gunshot.
Akame: ...…
Kurome: ......
Both stopped all their movements. Akame and Kurome looked down.
DRIP!!!!
There was a hole in Kurome's chest. You can even see the other side clearly.
Akame: !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Kurome: !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Kurome wanted to say something but instead of words, blood came out of her mouth.
Kurome: Hrrgh!!!!
Then she fell.

Now blood was now even coming out from her opened chest as she motionlessly laid on the ground. Akame mind blanked the moment she saw the hole in her little sister chest. She can't believe it. Even when she saw Kurome lying in the pool of her blood, she didn't believe what she was seeing. She thought it was all a dream. Nevertheless, when Kurome's blood reached and touched her, she felt the warmth of it and snapped out of her thoughts.
Akame: KUROMEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!
Akame sorrowful scream resounded all around. She then hurriedly reached Kurome picked her and started to call her.
Akame: Kurome. Kurome. Kurome. KUROME. KUROMEEEEE.
No matter how much she called, Kurome didn't reply. Akame's entire body got covered in Kurome's blood, but she didn't care and kept on calling her. If she couldn't hear the weak breathing of Kurome, she would have thought that her little sister was dead.
Kurome: Big...Sister...…
Akame: KUROME!!!
Akame rejoiced hearing Kurome's voice. Though, that joy turned into despair when she heard the next words.
Kurome: Big...Sister...…Where...…are...…you....
Akame: Kur..ome...…
Kurome: I...can't.....see...…you...….Where.....are...you....Big...…Sister...…..
Akame: Kurome. I AM HERE. YOUR BIG SISTER IS HERE.
Kurome: ......I....can't...…..even......…hear...…..you...
Akame: !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Akame expressions were becoming more and more pale at every second. She then hurriedly grabbed Kurome's hand and put it on her face. To let her feel her warmth. It worked.
Kurome: There......you......are........Big......Sister......….
Akame: YES. I AM HERE. I AM HERE.
Kurome: Big...…Sister.........…I....am.......afraid...…
Akame: ...…
Kurome: I......don't......want...…to......….die...…..
Akame: .........…
Kurome: I........want...…..to...see........many.....things...…..with............….Big.........Siste.r......
Akame: ....................
Kurome: I......want...…t.o........................…
Kurome stopped here as her hand which was touching Akame's face fell. Her eyes turned lifeless. And in the end her heartbeat and breathing stopped. She died.
Akame: !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Akame looked at the corpse of her little sister corpse in her arms. She tried to move the body of her sister again and again and again. Still, there was no response.
Akame: Ku.ro.me...…..Kuro.me...…..wake…up......plea.se........
Tears streams down her cheeks. She then released a heartbreaking cry while hugging her little sister.
Akame: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Akame kept on crying as her tears fell on Kurome's face. Because of sorrow, she even forgot that her cry would attract the Danger Beasts towards her location. Though, even if she knew about it, she wouldn't have care either.
???: Don't worry, Little Girl. You will also soon meet your sister.
At this time, the man who was following behind them and was responsible for Kurome's death appeared. Still, since Akame mind was completely on her sister she didn't hear that. The man shook his head seeing how Akame ignored him. He pointed his gun and aimed at Akame.
???: Farewell. Little Girl.

But before he could shoot, many Danger Beasts jumped out of the bushes. Next, they rushed at them. Yet, for some reason these Danger Beasts ignored Akame and attacked the man. The man frowned seeing this but didn't panic.
???: As expected, how could this World let the Heroine die like this. It will try everything in its power to prevent it.
Saying this, the man started to shoot.

The heads of the Danger Beasts exploded as they were hit by the bullet. Some Danger Beasts also attacked from behind. Because of that man took out a scimitar and started killing them

More and More Danger Beasts attached him. But they were still killed by him effortlessly. Then he even started throwing wick bombs at Danger Beasts.

Many explosions occurred. Danger Beasts body exploded, and their body parts were scattered all around. Their bones, blood vessels, organs were all around the ground. It was really a gross scene. As he was killing Danger Beasts, the man started to smile.
???: It reminds me of the time when I travel all across the sea with my crew. We faced and killing many sea creatures that time. That was really some good time.
Saying this man smiled even more while reminiscing some memories. Nevertheless, his hands didn't stop. They kept on killing.

The man finally killed the last Danger Beast. He stopped and looked around. Witnessing the carnage he created, he smiled crazily before putting his attention on Akame. Akame was still on the same spot hugging her little sister corpse. None of noise and sound of fight entered her ears. She just kept on looking at Kurome's face with lifeless eyes.
???: I thought you will take the advantage of my fight to run. Looks like I was wrong.
Akame: ......…
Akame didn't reply. Witnessing this, man shook his head again.
'???: Looks like the death of her sister affected here more than I thought.'
He frowned and continued.
'???: Now. What will be World's next move to protect the Heroine?'
The man the pointed his gun at Akame again. His senses were on full alert as he was waiting any unforeseen circumstances.
???: Let me free you from your misery, Little Girl.
BANG!!!!
The gunshot resounded. The bullet penetrated through the air to reach Akame. Soon it hit her. Or it was supposed to hit her. However, all of sudden, the space ripped, and an abyssal dark vortex appeared.
