71 Chapter – 71 (Darkness)

As time went by, her home is the only left for her. She feels like she is in a cage but still she never complained because her father was always happy. She started to read books to get rid of the feeling of isolation. She loved the books in which hero came to save captured princess, queen and so on. Since she is also living such life, she also thought that one day Hero will come to save her.

But even after reading so many books, she can't get rid of the feeling of isolation from the room. One day some children came. Soon, she was taking away by the Pallum guest. In the way, they got attacked by monsters. Guards protecting the carriage died one-by-one and that Pallum find a way and ran away. She saw with her own eyes as a monster attacked her. She blanks out thinking she died.

When she wakes up and find herself in unfamiliar place. She is still in cage but this one is a lot bigger. She looks around and finds many other like her who are in cage. At distance she saw some men who are gathering around a bonfire and laughing. As she confused where she is one of the people inside told her that they all are captured by bandits. She became sad again but inward she was happy that her so called 'Hero' will come to save her. This little hope is all keeping her from becoming insane.

But soon even this hope is shattered when those bandits sold her to Brothel. Before they can sell her Ishtar found her and make her the member of her Familia. When her first costumer came, she become scared and try to resist but its useless against the Adventurer. The Adventurer removed his clothes and jump at her. Seeing this she lost her consciousness.

By the time, she woke she finds herself in the same room but her clothes are disheveled and there was some juice on her body. She realizes that her body is no longer pure and now no Hero will come to save her. She cries a lot that day. After that more and more customers started to appear. She resisted at first then gave up.

As time went by, she no longer cares about anything. One day she met a person here. That person was the only kind person she met here. That person didn't feel disgusted even when knowing she has shared bed with many men. On the contrary, that person pity her. The name of that person was Aisha. Since Aisha didn't feel disgusted, Haruhime told all of her past to Aisha.

Aisha become sad knowing it and decided to help her to run away. At first, Haruhime don't want to because she had nowhere else to go. But Aisha insisted so she agrees. As they were running Ishtar finds them. Ishtar didn't do anything to her but made her look at Aisha who was beaten very brutally my Phryne Jamil, the captain of Ishtar Familia. In the end, Ishtar even raped Aisha broken body herself until her sanity was broken.

Haruhime saw everything with tears in her but she is powerless and helpless to do anything. From that day on, Haruhime never once look into Aisha eyes. No matter how many times they meet, Haruhime always avoid eye contact with her because she feels guilty thinking, she is responsible for what happens to Aisha.

Now to Haruhime death is better than living. She also wanted to kill herself but because of the collar on her neck she can't do it. She has already lost all hope by then.
