Chapter 16- Purgatory (1)

After going through what seemed to be a body reconstruction I got up.

It seemed that I hadn't fainted.

I feel my teeth and sure enough, I've grown fangs.

"I'm a vampire now I guess. What the hell is this place anyway?"

Purgatory looked like a barren wasteland with a pitch black sky and some broken mountains.

I examine the loot left over by Jimmy and take them for myself.

Not forgetting to take the sword.

" How am I supposed to know how I look now?"

Looking at myself in disbelief I came to a conclusion.

" I absorbed the dude's soul and he can't revive anymore now I guess?"

Raddix sees an orc a few meters away.

I instantly jump into fighting stance and look at the orc.

The Orc laughs and instantly teleports in front of my.

But the only problem was that.. he decided to teleport where my sword was aiming.

So my sword was in his heart even without my intervention.

The Orc looked at me with a face of disbelief.

The Orc proceeded to fall down to the ground and I proceeded to absorb his soul the same way boosting my strength.

" I didn't even get to know his name. What luck I have."
