CHapter 15- Death (1)

Being happy about the previous situation, I sat down thinking about what I should do next.

I started feeling an ache around my heart.

Why? I didn't know. I thought it would be related to my mana heart ring, but it wasn't.

I gasped on the floor trying check if anything was wrong and why I was struggling to breath, when there was nothing wrong.

No illness, no distortion, nothing.

Suddenly, I died.. but not really.

I open my eyes again and see a sea, a huge black sea.

My vision warped.

I see an old man in front of me suddenly.

" Yo kid, new here?"

" What the fuck just happened?"

" Well you died, isn't that obvious?"

" Nice joke, it seems death got to you though."

" No shit that it did." The mysterious old man starts laughing

I look at him with a terrified expression.

Ah fuck, this means I'm dead aren't I? How though.

" Well kid, you got me to laugh. But, what was the cause of your death?"

" Dunno. I just died suddenly. Nothing was wrong with me."

" You really an oddball aren't ya? Well gotta be careful then I guess."

" Wait careful? Hold up. Where am I? Aren't I supposed to be dead?"

" Where do you think the dead go?"

" Heaven or hell?"

" That is indeed how it is supposed to be. But however, we are currently in Purgatory."

" Pur-what? Never heard of something like this. Seriously, where am I? No, where are we?"

" Like I said kid, Purgatory. all the souls here are souls that were sent here due to receiving hatred of the Gods and are said to be you know.. be accursed here forever. Just like the both of us."

" Excuse me mister, what the fuck did you do while you were alive?"

" Me? Oh nothing much, I killed innocents, children, women and people and beings of all kinds for fun and raped and tortured them. WHat did you do for you to get here kid?"

...Fuck, this guy. He's a human piece of trash isn't he? I mean, I still have my strength but I have to be careful.

I punch the guy abruptly, but he blocks my fist.

" Oh this young man, did you think there could be no mana here? And seeing you react like this... you must be one of those who get sent here by accident here aren't you? You lot are the most fun to play with after all." The man says while grinning. " My name's Jimmy by the way~"

Without reacting to his words, I jump back. Trying to analyze Jimmy's movements I take a defensive stance knowing the man in front of me is stronger than me.

" Ah right kid, don't forget. people in Purgatory have eternal life. They come back again after every 40 hours. Which makes the weak the perfect slaves~ Ah, you know. I'm both sadist and gay?" The old man says while showing his fangs indicating he's a vampire.

I.. am fucked.

Jimmy jumps towards me showing his clear hostility.

I jump sideways and throw a shit ton of sand in his eyes.

My artifact finally came useful after all this time.

However to my expectations, Jimmy was unscathed and was holding my neck while grinning heavily.

" You really are a brat alright, I'll have my sweet time with you~."

" I'm not into men." I say while trying to escape.

" Well too ba-" Jimmy was interrupted by a sword.. stabbed in his heart.

His grip loosened and his corpse fell down to the ground.

Raddix looks at the sword and looks in front of him.

Quite a far away place in front of Raddix, hundreds of fights are occurring.

And one of the swords from one of the fights coincidentally stabbed Jimmy.

Raddix looks at the message in disbelief.

" Forever close down, wait what? And absorb the corpse? What the fuck? Whatever, I accept. It seems I have to say goodbye to the life I wished for. Sigh~"

My hand automatically is pushed forward in front of the corpse and it seems I'm eating it? I mean a black vortex is swallowing it up.
