Chapter 12- Weapon Selecting

After a while, the teacher told us that we would be selecting our weapons.

In the novel it said that all the weapons ever created was there.

So I was excited since I never saw so many weapons and a big place before.

I saw the main characters.

They were unhinged .

Well, it was predictable since they all had a ton of resources.

the place was really big.

It was at least 100 times bigger than the place I used to live in.

-' Damn dude, this place is a sort of treasury.'

-'Won't disagree with you on that one.'

This place has all the weapons ever created.

Though I only know a basic few.

'Stop being so mesmerized. You lot will probably choose a weapon incompatible with you and cry the entire semester like fucking idiots.'Teacher Lindasy shouted to al of us who were in a daze after looking at the vault.

In the novel, Each cadet went once at a time and the teacher would help them choose a compatible weapon.

'Alright we will be starting, Cadet Rank 1!. Jake White please enter.'

Jake then decided to go after saying his goodbyes to his friends.

After a few minutes he came out with a spear.

Knowing my part is going to be late, I dozed off while standing.

About 2 hours later

I woke up and saw the guy who was supposed to go before go in.

Sleeping while standing was a skill I developed in my past life because I had nothing to do.

After a few minutes I was called in.

'Cadet Rank 2000. Please enter.'

As I entered teacher Lindasy was following me.

'There's way too many fucking weapons at this place.' I thought to myself.

After going to the sword section it was obvious I would choose a sword.

However, my instincts screamed for me to choose dual swords.

Instinctively I went in front of the dual swords.

Teacher Lindasy was quite taken aback but regained her composure and asked me

'Are you sure you will be comfortable with this weapon?'

Though it didn't matter due to me being able to learn any sort of martial arts quickly.

I guess the Celestial Slayer was dual handed?

After a few seconds replied

'Yes.'

'Ok, dual swords will be provided to you after a minute.'

And after a minute I was provided with the academy weapons.

Really these weapons were good.

After that we got out and I offered my thanks and went out.

I got a new room today.

After heading to the Basilisk building I went to my room.

'Room 200' I muttered.

After heading into my room I was dumbstruck.

The entire place was bigger than my apartment.

The beds and all the other things were a luxury which I couldn't even dream of in my past life.

Deciding to not do anything, I laid down thinking about my past life.

'If I'm not wrong, I was a mythology fan. A nerdy one at that.'

The novel had the building names directly written from mythologies.

Leo, Cancer and Aquila being constellations.

Jörmungandr, Fenrir from mythologies.

After a few minutes of thinking I realized that I could easily get money.

Having about 10k credits in my bank account I decided to go ahead and earn some money.
