1 The bus of love 1/5

Man, sitting on the dirty hot summer bus in New York City. Wishing he could feel and escape from the boring everyday life. Wanting someone to love and cherish, but all his relationships ended in cheating and heartbreak. As a 45 year old man now, no one would ever want to marry him. Knowing this, his appearance changed after his last relationship when he was 30, 15 years ago. Thin black hair, strands sticking to his sweaty forehead. Wearing a big thick business attire, round belly protruding, nice black shinny shoes, and white long socks. Face white face, flushed as the summer heat starting to burn in flames at his feet, seat, and the window. Sitting up so straight, trying not to get burned. Sweaty back, armpits, forehead, crotch, and every single pore. The man has had 20 bottles of water today so far, as it's 5 already. All this man can think is, '5 more stops. 5 more stops and I'm home in my air conditioned house. 5. More. Stops.' He chugs down his 21 bottle in one gulp. "Shit i need to piss now," he mutters to himself.

Finally, after 15 minutes of torture, his stop has come. As he sits up, the sound of a pulled piece of tape being taken off surrounds the whole bus. The 5/6 people on the bus turns to him. His back, soaked in his own sweat darkens his grey suit. The eyes penetrate back of his head. He gathers his things, trying to exit his seat, stepping on the sticky ground, making people stare at him more intensely. While walking out to the front of the bus, he stares at his shiny expensive business shoes. But his eyes look over at a woman with a nude color high heels, a loose flower filled dress, long straight with curly strands sticking out black hair. Her skin, oily, olive skin tone, Crystal brown eyes. His heart thumped faster, harder, sweat and sweat. Flushed face, all the blood rushing up to his brain. 'Shit' he thought, 'she's gorgeous'. He stared at her pretty long lashes. He stood there looking down, as she looks up. "Yes?" She asks confused. "Oh nothing! Sorry haha." The sweaty man runs out. Leaving the beautiful woman confused.
