Chapter 1

I am Agape of Delphi, and I was chosen to be the next oracle in my village. I come from a long line of oracles, and the responsibility is passed down to women of every family generation. My job will be talking with the Gods and goddesses to pass down their messages to heroes and all others who seek me. The only thing is, the Gods have never talked to me. I have never heard their voices in my head telling me what to do. My mother would not understand and would most likely punish me if she knew this. So, I pretended I heard things and told those who came to me false information. For a while, it was going smoothly and I was able to do it. The problem with it all was the guilt weighing down on me. It made me feel horrible. Then one day a mysterious women came to be. That was the day everything changed.
