1 By the dawn

The crimson rays from the outer part of what seem to be a cathedral, but only different and more eerie looking, everywhere was coated in gold and different exquisite patterns designing the whole cathedral, at the middle of five men in red robes was a hovering orange energy, as thin as a pencil and widened at intervals, like it was trying to tear open for something to come out. The men chanted in unknown words, the union of their voice gave out a more eccentric vibe in the place, the orange energy seemed to be expanding, bringing a clearer result than the previous attempts, at the other side of what fit to be called a little gateway was a crimson spherical crystal shining brightly in the dark background which it was situated in, it glowed brightly, one of the men smiled before advancing to take the shiny object, but the orange portal closed abruptly travelling the crystal through space-time and to another reality entirely.

"God dammit!!" One of the man said removing his hood from his head, he had purple curly hair and a very innocent look which didn't even reflect his character. "Why would you do that, you were supposed to wait for it to tear open to the core!!" Z'aheer added before turning to the figure who caused the blunder.

"I'm sorry master, I never.." His words were cut short when Z'aheer released an invincible wave, transporting the latter to somewhere else. "And you all, one mistake causes the death of all." He said sending out another wave of energy that transported them also where their comrade was sent to.

Z'aheer walked down the stairs as he removed the cloak from his body, revealing a blue flowing robe and a sword with a purple hilt by his side. A huge creature of what only can be called a monster, stood by the door, he had a very monstrous physique with brown rocky body and a twisted horn on the head, and in the middle was a blazing fire.

"Im sorry for your loss lord Zaheer." Varilence said bowing his head a little.

"Don't be Varilence, it was my fault to pick four foolish Archmages." Z'aheer said before walking out of the building. The environment of this realm was different from any other, there were collapsed buildings around, and up to zero creatures present, with a crimson moon shining down on them.

"The Optisiar has been lost again, this time I think iur chance to find it again is very slim." Varilence stated, not fearing the worse that could happen.

"You are right Varilence, the tribunals would surely have it by now, and we won't be able to get it again!!" Z'aheer's scream destroyed the already damaged house before him. "Lets get finding Varil, if they haven't beat us to it, then we might have a chance." Z'aheer added before walking further into the shadow part of an alley.

At one of the lonely and shady streets of South London was a trade now taking place in an abandoned warehouse, the whole place was packed in with muscular men in black suits, each holding their respective guns ranging from different size and type, yellow bright light from above illuminated the iron wall building, two black vans with tinted glasses were parked by the westside along with some guards. In the middle of all were two men who were having a conversation, one out of the duo was surrounded with guards, he was an old man probably in his early 60's, he had a silky short white hair and beard, and the other who was guard less and was a young adult with a bit slim physique, probably about 19 years of age, he had his short black silky hair well combed and had little beards, he wore a black hoodie and jeans with a pair of loafers, both of his hands tucked into his pocket, both parties were involved in this illegal trade.

"You have your 'meat', now the money." Gary said with his British accent flowing with his words.

" Calm down lil eyes." Nate replied with and ear-to-ear smile.

"We already had this conversation over th phone, there's no negotiations." Gary replied with an emotionless face.

"Oh really." Nate smiled, the guard behind him set their guns and ready to fire.

"Jerk." Gary mumbled before passing the briefcase on to Nate who in return slid another briefcase at the later. Without looking, Gary turned back before stealthily walked out of the building, he had reached the gate when Nate shouted:

"Fake!! Don't let him trough."

Gary held the guard from shooting before turning him forward to block the gunshots from the others, turning him at intervals, he nicked the gun from the dead man's hand then shot at them, he kept on exchanging shots at eachother till he was out of rounds. Gary ran out, he had closed the door before-hand, in order to slow them down, placing a huge iron bar on the gate, he didn't need to still wait to observe the details of his surrounding, he quickly took to his heels, running as fast as his legs could take him, the gunshot he heard from afar made him turn at intervals, seconds away from him was an oranged tiny portal gradually openning up in the air, it kept on expanding before the red crystal known as the Optisiar came out of the tiny doorway, suspended in the air. Gary turned his head foward, just for his eyes to collide with the blue floating object, Gary stopped in his tracks and bent down breathing heavily as both of his eyes glowed blood red, his vision had turned crimson and he could feel his blood boiling and his bones shifting and displacing. He heard several gunshots, and one bullet managed to pierce him in the ribs causing him to yell in pain. He turned back opening his eyes just for a chaotic crimson energy to shoot out from it, destroying everything he looked at, including the guards, he only turned his head but the energy had already done a lot of damage to his surrounding, the whole houses around him had all burnt down to crisps with zero remians left, Gary shut his eyes out of fear, before procceding to run further, he somehow didn't feel the pain like he was supposed to, he feel down on the ground due to his temporary blindness, he quickly opened his eyes, and thankfully, nothing as destructive as such came forth. Gary kept on running before he finally stopped by a tree, wheezing heavily. He opened up his cloth to check the wound, but it was absent, only a pink mark was there. He kept feeling something hot inside him, though it was sunny, but he was feeling intense heat.

"What the Fuck is going on?" Gary asked out loud.
