THREE: Collosal

With a thud, Saitama landed on the ground after jumping from the top floor where his room was. The disappearance of the outside floor of the rooms occurred yesterday, and since then, Steve and Saitama have already adapted to not having a floor.

Being strong, they didn't really mind.

I looked at Saitama on the ground for a few seconds before jumping too. "Where are you going?"

Saitama fixed his gloves first, then looked at me with a simple smile and a thumbs up. "I didn't tell you, but I'm a hero for fun."

"...So where are you going?" I asked the question once again. I already know where he will be going, but I need to ask him so I can have an excuse to come.

"To City D and beat some monsters," Saitama replied as he looked towards the direction of another city.

"Cool. Can I come?"

Saitama paused for a few seconds and looked at me. "Listen here, Steve, being a hero is a hard job. Will you still do it?!"

Holding back my laugh and keeping my poker face, I replied seriously, "Of course!"

And off we went, running with Saitama towards an unknown city. However, I knew we'd eventually arrive at City D because today, a giant would appear with his weirdo scientist brother.

As I ran with similar speed, Saitama took a glance at me—I could feel it. Although I knew this wasn't his full speed (not just anyone can match him in terms of speed), he was probably surprised or assessing me. It seems that Saitama wasn't so dense after all.

We ran and ran, continuously beating monsters that came our way—poor them. We also stopped to take a break--that we didn't need--to buy a scoop of ice cream. I asked some people where we were, and I came to know that we were close to entering City D.

"My sons! How dare you fucking eat them!!!" An enraged voice suddenly shouted. I looked at the source of the shout and saw a giant mutated vanilla ice cream pointing its hands towards Saitama. Of course, Saitama was unbothered by it and kept eating the ice cream in front of the mommy ice cream.

"You will pay for it!" The ice cream mother rushed towards Saitama. When it was close, Saitama punched it with a bored look and continued eating the ice cream. The ice cream mother's body blew up, and the vanilla cream splashed all over the place.

"I think we should leave here," I said while looking at the enraged people covered in cream all over their outfits.

We kept running until I heard a warning through giant speakers that were all over the area.

"This is an evacuation warning!

A threat level demon has appeared and is destroying City D! Immediate evacuation is recommended!" The giant speakers said.

"Damn, this is massive as hell," I said while looking at the colossal human figure full of brown muscles and some skeleton outside. It was walking and waving its hand, making towns vanish after being hit by strong airwaves.

Without waiting for Saitama, I immediately jumped towards it. I could feel my feet go through the ground because of the force I put. As I was flying towards the monster, it was probably destroyed.

The speed of my flight was fast, so fast that I could see the air bend as I passed it. As I got closer to the colossal, I outstretched my arm and clenched my fist.

When I finally reached its cheek, I released my punch, creating a giant crater in it. I noticed some of its giant teeth were falling.

"Ahhh!" Someone shouted. "Brother! I'm falling, help!"

It was the big brother and the mad scientist that created this colossal monster and also his brother. The crazy scientist was holding onto the muscle of the colossal for his dear life.

"Help!!!" He shouted once again.

As I was falling, I quickly positioned my body towards the scientist. My head was aimed towards him while my feet were bent. With all my might, I kicked the air and flew towards the scientist with great speed.

The scientist was hit with my head, and his torso blew up like an apple getting hit by a bullet.

Now that I think about it, this is probably not a good idea. Once I landed on the ground with my head first, it created a large explosion.

I quickly removed my head that was underground and stood up. Now, the effects of doing the stunt I did earlier? I now had blood all over my hair. The golden color wasn't even visible anymore. Adding the gray color of the ground, I don't look even as decent anymore.

"This will be tough to wash," I said with a frown.

Deciding to ignore it for now, I looked at the colossal monster that was lying on the ground, probably dead. My punch was so strong that I found it a miracle if he wasn't dead yet after getting his brain shaken from the impact.

I could see many helicopters flying around the giant body, and one of them was coming towards me.

They didn't take long to arrive and landed in front of me.

"Hello, I'm from the Hero Association, and I will need you to come with us," the man who came out of the helicopter said with a cold expression.

Pretty straightforward eh?

"I will come, just give me your contact or something," I said with a gesture. "I don't know when, but it will be within this week."

I knew they probably already knew that I'm the one who beat the colossal, which is fast but not surprising. Now, I declined to go with them for now because I forgot about Saitama, and it would be really rude if I just left him after all I want to be friends with him.

"Ah! I forgot, can you lend me some money? This monster is yours now, so..." I said while giggling.

The guy from the Hero Association frowned, but then when he touched his ear, which probably was a communication device, his expression turned back to normal.

"Here," he said as he handed me a black card. He then turned around and quickly left with the helicopter.

"I didn't know you were this strong too!"

I looked at Saitama, who had a serious face while smiling. "Nah, you're probably stronger based on your speed earlier."

Then, a second later, I showed him the card from the association guy. "Wanna eat? My treat!"

"Hell yeah!"
