11 Chapter eleven

Kamaria's POV

I was laying on my bed with my laptop on my laps typing away trying to write my essay for biology that was dew in two days time. I couldn't concentrate well because I was thinking of the attitude that James was having towards me,

" who does he thinks he is?" I said closing my laptop and putting it on my side table,

I know it was wrong of me to talk to him that way and i'll apologize for it but it's just a lot strange seeing someone care so much for a person, he saved and a person he doesn't even know that much,i'll always be grateful for what he did for me, so i'll try and be more extrovert with him.

I will be leaving for classes very soon so I decided to go take a shower, I got up from my bed and walked over to my drawers and took my lingerie and went the bathroom.

I was in the shower enjoying the coolness of the water and thinking of what to do to make James happy and forgive me, maybe I'm a burden, i'll get home earlier and make some of my specialities which is Italian food and then tell him I'll be leaving and going back to my house, I really miss my normal life. I'll definitely see him around.

I was done taking my shower so I went to my room and got dressed, I wore a grey t shirt,black high waist shorts and my black vans.I applied little make up, took my hand bag and went down stairs to the kitchen, I took an apple and left the house, I entered my car and drove off.

I was almost close to the campus when my phone started ringing and I saw that it was kali, I connected my phone with the Bluetooth and answered,

" hey kam!" she said happily,

" hi girl what's up?"i said smiling,

" nothing much I'm with Jude here in the pack just hanging around!"she said,

" you and jude huh?!" I said smiling to myself,

" kammm stop omg your taking things too far!!" She said laughing, I could even hear jude laughing,

" is jude hearing our conversation?" i asked,

" yeah you want to talk to him?"she asaked,

" yeah sure."

" hey kam how are you?"

" hey Jude!I'm good, how are you treating my best friend?" He laughed before answering me,

" in the best possible way, I hope!" The two started laughing and I shook my head, they where acting like two young teenagers searching for love which I think they are definitely looking for and I feel like they're going to be a cute couple very soon.

" ok guys I need to go I have classes to attend to"i said,

" ok kam bye we love you!!" said kali giggling,

" bye babies" I hung up and got out of my car.

I was walking to my first class when a girl stopped me.

" hey umm..." she was waiting for me to tell her my name,

" it's Kamaria"

" hey Kamaria, nice name by the way!" I smiled at her, she looked familiar but I couldn't remember where I saw her,

" Thank you! have we met before?" i said trying to remember her,

" yes I was the one in your first class..... the annoying one, the one that was distracting you.... jade? Remember now?? it was a month ago or so"

"Ohhhh right you're the annoying girl jade" I said laughing at the way she introduced her self,

that was the first time I saw those grey intense eyes, the one's that were staring at me, James doesn't seem like a cold hearted guy, I can see that he's a guy that keeps things to himself and looking at the past weeks I had the opportunity to know him but I didn't at the same time, I'm basically staying with a stranger, oh God what is wrong with me?, but I feel safe around him, I just don't want anyone in my life that leaves after they know who I really am, I just can't deal with that again.

Kalisha is my whole family,she's my life and I don't want to put any other person in my life at the moment, why am I being so insecure I need to change something about me.

" kalisha are you even listening to what I'm saying?" She said with a sad face, I felt bad because I was ignoring her i sighed,

" I'm sorry I wasn't listening I was thinking of something, so what is it?" i said,

" uuhhh I said that I like you and I want you to be my friend, I know we didn't start off well but I would like you to come to the bar to take a drink or something? Is that ok?" she asked nervously,

"Emm sure and I'm sorry once again, I need to go now bye!" She was really happy and I don't know why is that but I'll let it go.

I entered my class and saw James there, he was resting his head on his desk, I sat next to him, he raised his head and stared at me for awhile,

" why are you sitting next to me? There are a lot of seats around this room Kamaria!" He said annoyingly,

" You're still angry at me" I said resting my head on the desk toward his direction,

" look I'm sorry and please don't ask me why I'm being mean to you all the time because I'm not telling you!" i said,

" are you serious right now? I'm trying to be friendly with you but you keep pushing me away, you've been with me for like a month and do you know anything about me? No...exactly! You know, i'm not usually this kind towards people and you just proved to me that I should just keep to myself just the way I use to."he said angrily,

I stared at him with teary eyes, this is all my fault and I'm going to amend everything today,

" I'm really sorry James, it's just.... I don't know how to be around guy's, its complicated, I'm sorry you're feeling this way." I got up from the desk and sat in another sit, I needed to be away from him before i become a crying mess.

In class I was distracted, actually it was all the day but I went through it.

I walked out of the campus exhausted, I walked towards my car and saw Jade waiting for me over there, I sighed, I almost forgot about our little outing,

" hey jade!" i said,

"Oh hi I was waiting for you so we could go together I don't have my car here" she said smiling,

" it's fine I can drop you at home if you want!?" i said reassuring her,

" Really thank you so much, that'll be great!" I smiled and entered my car and we drove off.

The ride was quiet but it wasn't awkward because the radio was on and we were enjoying it, we arrived at the cafe and sat in a boot that was facing the window,

We ordered drinks and we started talking,

"so tell me about yourself Kamaria!" she said breaking the silence,

" hhaha ok so... you already know my name, I'm 18, I love singing, reading books and going to the gym even if I went to the gym like two months ago" she was laughing and I joined her, she was a weird girl but I'm starting to like her.

" so do you have anyone that is close to you?" she asked curiously,

" yeah her name is kalisha she's my best friend!" i said,

"Lucky you! I left my country to study here, at first it was hard but now I just live and study, do my best so I can go back there!" Happiness was written all over her face and I smiled,

" what country you left....that you love so much?" I said laughing a bit,

"Australia" she said with a sad smile,

" oh wow I went there for a vacation with kalisha and her ex, it was really beautiful, there were so many places to go, but we had to leave earlier because I had family problems"

" oh I'm sorry about that" she said with sympathy,

" haha don't worry I enjoyed myself though!" i said smiling,

" that's good to hear!" she said,

We stayed at the bar some more and left after we chatted more, she was a really interesting person and I liked her so we exchanged our numbers, maybe we could go to the club together.

I went home and like expected he was not here so I went down for what I planned on what to do,

" ok kam let's get started!" Luckily I went grocery shopping and bought what I needed.
