23 CH 24:Marvel (Tour)

Alex then turns to his left looking at Wanda: "And you must be...."

Wanda: "Wanda"

As we finished there was an awkward silence in the surrounding when Natasha said: "Sir please follow me I will give you a tour of this S.H.I.E.L.D. base.

Upon reaching the gate we see 5 main buildings. This was an incredelious view and I was weirdly anxious as although I wasn't the biggest fan of marvel I was still an avid watcher of their movies.

So it would have been hard to keep a stoic face of it were not for occulmency.

Natasha on the speaker In her ear: "Happy, open the gates please."

As she finished her request the bar gates of the base opened and we entered.

Alex: "Now all I would like of you is to give a basic introduction to me of each of the buildings."

Natasha: "As you wish sir." As she ended her words she looked at me and in that instance I used my magic to make her feel a little hot. The same thing I would do whenever Wanda would look at me. This caused the both of them to immediately look the other way after looking at me. I would stop it every time that they looked away. But as a trained officer Natasha quickly regained her cool and continued.

The buildings had a placement as such: to our front was one big building although it wasn't tall it was very wide and was taking a lot of space. To our left were 2 tall buildings with many sub buildings and to our right were again 2 short buildings.

We walked to the first building on our left when Natasha started to introduce us to it as we continued walking inside it.

Natasha: "Sir on the left is the building with all the offices including yours. Yours is on the top of the building 50th floor. The whole floor is reserved for You, your wife Diana and Captain Marvel though she is usually absent as she travels to different worlds. This floor has your offices and rooms for other activities if you desire. I can show you your offices if you desire Sir Alex, Mrs Martin."

Diana with a professional smile just motioned towards me. Natasha and Wanda understood this so they looked at me causing them to have another pang inside of their hearts, this they immediately looked towards the front.

Alex: "No you can show us our offices some other time, and is Captain marvel present at the time being. If she is then how much time is she gonna stay here. Also give me information on all her previous missions that she has taken outside of Earth." ( Hey I gotta act professional you know)

Natasha: "As you say sir. And yes she is present at the time being and she only has to return after 9 months as the missions outside of Earth are far and few. I will also have the files transferred to you after the tour. If you'd like we can meet her if you'd like. Although she is here at the office she is not really doing anything as she is like a guardian of the base."

Alex: "No we can meet her later why don't you introduce me to the other buildings."

We exit the building and walk to the other building on this side of the road.

We are now standing towards a building even taller than the previous building.

Natasha: "This building is filled with labs where the best scientists of the world. The first 20 floors have biological labs where these scientists work together to make the cures which give immunity to poisons for an hour and such other things related to humans. The rest of the the floors have labs in which scientists work together to make different weapons. These include small things such as bullets to small scale bombs. The smaller building connected to it on its right is a place where the agents of rank 4 and higher can give their weapons to be customised according to their preference. The one room buildings surrounding these buildings are used to Check the new discoveries and the customised weapons."

Alex: "Let me guess this batch of buildings are made of some special materials."

Natasha answers as we leave the building towards the buildings on the other side of the road: "Yes sir these buildings as well as 2 other are made of special materials which are very hard to destroy or even scratch, thus the rest of the people are guaranteed saftey."

We reach the building across the road so Natasha continues her explaination: "This building here is where the hero's live when they come here. The first floor is like a 1 big entertainment only floor. There is a pool, tables to play cards and 8 ball and other such in-door entertainments.(Sorry guys I don't really know anything about what adults play inside a house.) Under it is the basement which is a gym which is again made from special materials because if it was made from normal materials than it wouldn't have any effect on hero's. Even below that is a special floor which has a gravity room to be used by hero's but because the energy consumption is as huge as the whole capital in a day so the hero's are only allowed to use it for 24 hours a month. That is of course on if the gravity is more than into 5. The 2 floor is the floor with all the rooms for the heroes and on the left right corner of the floor is your room. The 3 and floor is the most heavily guarded floor. That floor has all the information the shield has. The floor is filled with super computers and in the center of the floor is a room with the A.I computer. Even above that is the top floor of the building which is actually a restaurant. You can eat in private rooms or public rooms though most hero's prefer the private rooms. The building next to this one is the building where the normal agents train. And the building in the center is the building where all the meeting are made, be it with companies or with the government's of the other countries."

Alex was about to say thank you and just end the conversation when he remembered something: "Thank you Natasha but I wanted to ask you something."

Natasha: "Yes Sir what is it."

"Where do the other roads at the beginning of the road go to."

Natasha: "Oh sir sorry I forgot about those." She looks towards me and bows her head a little.

Alex: "No problem everyone makes mistakes just explain them to me now." 'I can't blame you for something that I caused.'

(Alex caused this because he caused Natasha's heart go pang everytime she looked at him and that is the most explainable reason why she forgot to introduced them.)

Natasha: "Thank you Sir. The road on the left lead's to apartment's for the agents of level 8 and below. While the road on the right lead to a restaurant for the agents as well as 2 mansions 1 for Captain Marvel and the other for Mrs Martin."

Alex: "Now lets get to work also I would like you to refer to me as just Alex and stop being formal with me it feels weird with someone older than me saying that to me."

Diana: "He is right it does feel too formal with you calling me Mrs Martin all the time. So call me Diana."

Natasha: "As you wish Alex, Diana."

Alex: "You are still being too formal but I guess it will take some time for you to get comfortable with us."

Alex then looks towards Wanda who is looking towards him with dreamy eyes and says: "You were quiet the whole time is there something on your mind."

Wanda comes out of her thought and becomes flustered: "A..a..ah N-no theres nothing on my mind it is just that I am not much of a talker. I am sorry for the inconvenience." She ends her words with a nervous laugh.

Alex: "Ha ha ha I am sorry to cause you to feel awkward." I say and rub the back of my neck. An awkward silence takes over the group though from the looks of it it was awkward only for Alex as the girls were staring at him with dreamy eyes.

Alex: "Now why don't we go to the office and get to work."

This chapter was late because it is 3 times larger that the usual ones so I hope that you enjoyed it or not. (about 1542 words)
