“Hey, Shepherd…” Dave’s voice came energetic over the phone, and I hummed in surprise.

“Everything okay??” He usually doesn’t contact me at this hour, it is close to the Lunch Hour now.

About that girl, I got something on her…”

Just as he spoke, my secretary entered and my eyes narrowed at her.

Is she doing something behind my back??

“How about Lunch?” I offered knowingly.

“I am going out for lunch…” I informed my secretary in a dark tone, unbothered by my foul mood, she nodded her head in obedience and left politely.
