Chapter 102 Do Or Die

“Oh, I love challenges, Mr. Garner,” With a sweet mock smile Derek appeared as a pure devil.

I expected him to walk away as now he should be content to his heart by insulting Tom's efforts openly but instead, his eyes met mine and he held me in my place.

“Miss Hood…” He spoke in a deep voice and instantly my insides clenched with the longing for him.

“Follow me please, I need to discuss something regarding the new project,” Derek commanded and before I could refuse him or say anything in my defense he walked away with his head held high in arrogance.

Such a shameless Bastard !!

And overbearing too !!

“I’ll see you in the evening…” I bid Tom goodbye and quickly followed Derek even when my heart was telling me not to.

With a light knock, I braced myself and then walked inside Derek’s office where he was already expecting me.

He watched me intently and I tried my best to not shrug at all.

The whole week has passed since I last encountered him.
