Chapter 27

　　Damian's POV -

　　Martha nodded. "He called me a loose woman. That was the last abusive word he said to me before he broke up with me."

　　"What kind of relationship were you in?"

　　"I was in an abusive relationship." She said. "He paid my bill. He was there when nobody was. He looked after me, and that's why I didn't leave, all this years." She looked away from me. "I know what you're going to say, but I owe him alot."

　　"Even though you do, you shouldn't let a man disrespect you. Perhaps, right now, you're financially capable, why were you still with him?"

　　"I love him, okay?" She sighed. "He may not be the perfect guy but he wasn't so bad. He was also romantic and funny. He's never cheated. He was always honest with me. He's never raised his hand on me."

　　"He has no right to call you a loose woman, no man should disrespect any lady."

　　"I feel like all men disrespects women. I mean, my dad did the same thing to my mom but she still sticked with him."
