Chapter 131 Doctor Damian 2

  Damian's POV -

I studied Emily—or what I could see of her through the mop and broom heads behind which I stood—as she chatted with the middle-aged man, seemingly oblivious to anyone else in the lift. With her beautiful blonde hair put up into a tidy knot at the back of her head, she is a tall, thin, fit-looking woman. Her complexion was lightly tanned, and she exuded a sense of vitality and vigor that contrasted sharply with his perception of 'Hospital Mondayitis.'

The lift came to a halt, and Emily exited, followed by the man with the cart. I swore softly as I looked at the floor indication lights. Surely I'd dialed four, the number for my office. Was I too preoccupied with brooding over a slim tanned blonde?

The elevator landed at the Eight B ground. I consciously stepped out of the elevator to the office desk where I saw the badge on Emily's chest signifying the Eight B charge nurse and senior nurse.
