CHAPTER 65
After the ride around frostway Robert dropped Madison back home while he went over to see Catalina father.
Madison didn’t have much to do so she call the coach and decide to head over to Jen place as she had invited her to come over whenever she felt lonely.
Upon reaching her house she was led to the parlor by the butler, when she entered the room she saw Glenda seated there having tea.
“And here I was thinking I was barging in”
“of course not, you are always welcomed here my dear” Jen entered the parlor with a tray of pastries in her hands and a duster on her shoulders, she had little pecks of flour on her forehead showing she was just coming out from the kitchen where she has been working.
“I hope I didn’t take long Glenda, it took quite a while to get this ready”
Madison couldn’t help but giggle, walking over to her “are you baking Jen?”
She gave her a peck on the cheeks “yes, I was just using mademoiselle recipe”
“And were is mademoiselle?”
