Date #2 (1)

Smiling, Li Hua turned to look at her father and Jian. "Well then, I have to get going now. I'll see you both later."

Turning around, Li Hua walked towards the door. Just as she was opening the door, Jian stood up and asked her, "Where are you going?"

Hearing her brother's question, Li Hua smiled as she turned to look at him before leaving. "On a date with my fiance," said Li Hua as she waved to Jian.

"What?!" shouted Jian as he watched his sister leave. Angry, Jian started to walk towards the door to stop his sister.

"Stop," said Neng Chao as he gave Jian a stern look.

"Dad. Didn't you hear her? She's going on a date with that CEO Li. I have to stop her."

"Jian. Let your sister do what she wants. She's a grownup."

Still standing in the room, Meling gasped as she heard what President Neng said. 'Vice President Neng is going on a date with 'the' business king?' Covering her mouth, Meling looked at the father and son pair.

Noticing Meling's stare, Neng Chao lightly smiled as he explained.

"Meling you probably heard that CEO Li is engaged right?"

Nodding her head, Meling listened as CEO Neng spoke.

"It's true he is. His fiancee is Vice President Neng, my daughter whom you have just met. Most people already know since CEO Li announced it at his press conference yesterday, but still, please keep quiet about it."

"Of course sir."

"Since there's nothing else, you should get going and prepare for the next few weeks."

"Yes, sir." Meling bowed her head before leaving the office.

Once she was out, the rest of the assistants came up to ask her what had happened. Meling told them that she was going to work with Vice President Neng for the next few weeks to help her get adjusted. Hearing that Meling wasn't going to get fired, the assistants sighed in relief before wishing her luck on her new job.

Li Hua smiled as she walked out of Neng Neng Corporation and into her car. Sitting down, she scrolled through her phone and texted Mei Xing to meet up with her tomorrow.

"Where to Young Miss?"

"Sunrise."

Looking out the window, Li Hua stared at the clear blue sky. In her hand, she held a black leather box before putting it in her handbag. Li Hua didn't know what Longwei had planned for them today but decided to wait for him at his office. Surely he wouldn't mind.

Approaching the Sunrise company, Li Hua's driver quickly opened the door for her as she stepped out of the car. Li Hua looked at the building before putting on a pair of large sunglasses and entering the company.

As Li Hua walked to the front desk of the company, the staff stopped and stared at her. No one recognized the beautiful woman walking in their company. They all assumed she was an artist or some girl from a wealthy family trying to get her way into the company.

"Hi. Can you tell CEO Li that Neng Li Hua is here to see him?" asked Li Hua as she leaned on the front desk and smiled at the receptionist.

Seeing a goddess smile before her, the receptionist nodded her head quickly and called the top floor. After a few moments, she smiled at Li Hua and directed her to the elevator and took her to the top level.

Arriving at the top floor, Li Hua walked towards the CEO office. The assistants all turned to watch as a beautiful woman in a vibrant red suit walked down the hall towards the CEO office.

As Li Hua neared the office, she turned to look at one of the assistants. "Hi, I'm here to meet with CEO Li."

"Do you have an appointment?"

"Yes, I do." Li Hua said as she smiled at the assistant.

Dazzled at her smile, the assistant fumbled as he spoke. "May...may I have your name please ma'am?"

"Neng Li Hua. CEO Li doesn't know that I'm here, but we have a lunch appointment together." As Li Hua said these words, she lowered her sunglasses and winked at the assistant. Gaining a favorable blush from him.

"I understand. CEO Li is still in a meeting at the moment. You can take a seat over there while waiting."

"Thanks."

Walking towards the waiting area, Li Hua sat down and pulled out a small notebook and her phone. As she played with them, the assistants and receptionists all watched her in awe. With Li Hua sitting down and focused on her phone and notebook, the sunlight hitting her skin made her look breathtaking. The sunlight added a hint of gold to her jade-like skin and made her look more breathtaking than ever.

As Li Hua focused on her phone and notebook, she didn't hear footsteps coming down from the hallway.

Stepping out of the elevator, Longwei walked through the hall like a king walking through his palace. Seeing their boss return from the meeting, everyone quickly went back to work trying to avoid his wrath.

"What's next?" asked Longwei as continued to walk.

Looking through his iPad, Guowei listed what needs to be finished for the day. "You have a meeting in 30 minutes with CEO Huo. After that, there is a meeting with CEO Ling. There is also a meeting today with the directors on the upcoming projects."

"Did I get any calls?"

"No, boss."

"En."

Walking past the desks of his assistants, Longwei was about to open the door to his office when something caught his eye. In the corner of the office, a woman wearing a vibrant red suit sat on a couch as she hunched over something. Seeing her, a small smile formed on Longwei's lips shocking all his assistants stupid.

No one has ever seen the CEO smile before. Instead, he never smiled, not even once. When he did smile, it wasn't the warm, beautiful smile he was giving now, but a bone-chilling smile that he only gave to those who would meet their end.
