Shall we dance?
Terry got up while clenching his teeth, which hurt like hell. Still, at least the enemies didn't have time to follow with another attack, so he had plenty of time to get up.
The monster that almost hit him had lost one eye thanks to the fire bolt while the other was trying to stop the bleeding with one of its hands. Both of them had injuries that slowed them down.. Still, Terry couldn't drop his guard. The tree that got kicked in was way thicker than him, and now it was inclined to the side.
"Finally, some fun…" Terry said while smirking.
In order not to let the enemies dictate the flow of the battle, Terry advanced. The giant that was bleeding tried to kick him since it was too dangerous to use his free arm and expose his head. Terry stopped his advance and then swung his spear. The tip hit and cut the sole of the enemy's feet, making a lot of blood gush out from the wound.
The other enemy approached, but Terry just equipped his crossbow, and when the beast tried to protect its face again, Terry just waited. Until the monster tried to look at him using the holes between his fingers, and Terry aimed right at it… they weren't that bright. Another explosion on the creature's face made it grunt in pain.
"This took long enough… can't let others approach this before I finish them," Terry thought.
The other giant stepped forward, and the wound in his feet made even more blood splash around when the creature tried to stop using it. The pain also made the beast flinch… Terry used that chance and threw his spear right into the right eye of the creature… The spear pierced deeply, and the beast stopped moving before falling backward.
Terry equipped his dagger and looked at the giant that had lost both eyes and now was tripping around… Terry sighed and then equipped his crossbow again. It was time to check how long he needed to recover his own mana… after he hit the neck of the monster with three fire bolts, the creature fell.
"I need a better strategy. This took far too long…" Terry thought and then went to grab his spear.

Terry checked the crossbow and confirmed that he got eight experience points for each enemy. That would make him progress a lot faster… the real problem was the two vs. one fights and the fact that the heads of the monsters were out of the reach of his normal attacks…
While Terry was trying to get the magic stones, he thought of his option. If he surprises the enemies, he probably can kill a giant using the wind Wand and three charges… he just had to hit their necks. Then we will have the chance to fight one on one and gain battle experience for himself. Just having powerful weapons was far from being enough…
"I can't recover enough charges of the wind Wand between battles, so I guess I will use the magic stones…" Terry said when he got the first one.
It was only a countermeasure until Terry got used to fighting them with his spear. He could see now why the dungeon hadn't been conquered. The necessary requirements were to defeat one of the bosses of the tribes and show the bodies to the others beyond the portal. Considering that the minions were annoying, the boss should be an even more pain in the ass.

Before the enemy could see those disappearing in the bush, Terry attacked. He aimed well enough to fire three wind arrows straight into the monster's throat. The creature began to agonize for a short while before it fell. The other monster approached and saw Terry leaving the bush.
"Shall we dance?" Terry asked.
The beast charged at him and then tried to kick Terry. However, he just stood his ground and then thrust his spear toward the feet of the monster.
Terry felt his entire arm trembling due to the impact… he didn't flinch, so he had to endure the resistance of the enemy's flesh while his spear pierced the creature's foot.
After pulling the spear, Terry moved his arm a little to fight the pain. Meanwhile, the monster was grunting, even more annoyed than before. Terry recovered first and then dashed to attack. Meanwhile, the beast lowered its posture and then readied both arms. When Terry got close enough, the giant closed its arms to smash him. Still, Terry jumped and avoided the giant slap… now completely defenseless, Terry made his spear pierce the giant's forehead.
