1 Prologue : Three Ways To Live in a God Forsaken World

[There are three ways to live on in a god forsaken world. Now over the years I have forgotten a few, but on thing is certain , it's not something cliché as 'Law of the jungle', 'Survival of the fittest' ,'Authority' or stuff like that , i still remember one of them which was closest to me since the beginning 'Endurance' the one thing that gives you strength to face any adversity. But, one thing is certain the fact that you who are reading this now will live until the end]

-Three ways to live in the apocalypse, It was the name of the novel I liked to read.

A web novel filled the screen of my old smartphone , it was a feature-length novel with 4,234 chapters . I scrolled up again and again.

"Sigh, is this the end?"

I have been reading this novel since the first year of middle school , during the time I was bullied that novel gave me hope and 'Endurance' and maybe it got so so etched into my memory that it was the only thing that made me capable of fending off the bullies which were twice as strong as me. I kept reading it when my entrance examination for a University got ruined by a famous Guild master's son ,when I switched jobs , even when I'm working as an overtime worker in a large company and now ,even when I just failed the Hunter Examination , and failed to become even an F rank Hunter .... Damn , let's just leave that aside for now.

As I looked at my phone in regret

[Author words: There will be an epilogue soon.]

"Ah , seems like it's really ending..."

From the end of childhood to adulthood, it took me 8 years to finish this novel as to why it took that many years was because I didn't want it to end early and that the novel was also that long, there was a mixture of despondency that a world was coming to an end along with a sense of satisfaction. I looked down and opened the comment box and rewrote the message several times.

[Kim Ryu: Thanks For everything, i am looking forward to the epilogue]

It wasn't a lie I was really sincere about it. I tried to recommend it to others before, but it didn't work.

"I wonder why people don't try to read such a good novel"

There weren't many people reading it or more like no one else other than me. In the beginning, it was in hiatus, but as chapters went on, people reading it decreased to the point only i was left.

For a moment i thought he lied because he was ashamed , but i wanted it to be true.

I gave my address to the author as he asked me.

[Jeonji jeonneung: Oh and the monetization starts tomorrow, but i'm afraid it will be paid.]

[Kim Ryu : Of course i'll pay! I will buy the epilogue!]

There was no reply after, then i felt the pessimism sink in later. The author left after he ..succeeded soon the admiration turned into petty jealousy,

"What was I so excited for? it wasn't even my novel"

"Though i wonder what kind of gift will the the author send , maybe 1000$?"

Pfft... As he laughed at himself.

"No way that's going to happen, that's expecting too much "

Sigh...

"Still, it would be good if it was a 50,000 won"

With a look of sadness he erased that thought as well , he wouldn't need that money anymore as he had already failed at the Hunter Examination since he had no talent in Martial arts or Magic"

Though Kim Ryu did not know at that time , the gift that the Gift the author mentioned will change the whole world and the life of an orphan 20 year old that had been reading this novel and his revenge to slay all the monsters that nearly killed him years ago , but that did not matter right now as he was just about to die.

Ryu said while gasping for breath violently , as he laid flat on the ground and no longer had any strength to stand anymore.

"...Well , what's done is done , even if i keep trying to endure it won't help now, I can't even feel my own body"

Looking towards the goblin approaching him with a club in its hand, Kim Ryu exclaimed with a heart full of Contempt

"Damn goblin's , it was you guys that time as well"

As he was mumbling a person in black robe approached him but he didn't notice that as he was staring at a screen floating above his head
