The Return to Earth

I opened my eyes to find myself in my room, two years ago, on Earth. Who was ??? Then I realized. If this was Earth two years ago, and there's no Tower of Chaos in the middle of Sapporo, then my parents must still be alive! This would be my chance to save them. It was like a second chance; a second life in a video game. But I had to be careful not to squander this chance to save my family, including the world. And only I know the future. Luckily, I had kept my mana, meaning that I had my fire powers and I would need to train hard to become a master of the element of fire so I could stand a fighting chance against the Tower of Chaos.

But then I remembered, the amulet. I quickly looked around my room, desperately searching for the amulet the mysterious figure gave me, only to find it under my pillow. But then I really remembered.

Life was normal, I had a life, I was a normal kid, I had school to go to.

Suddenly, my mother barged into the room and shouted, 'Kento! You're an hour late for school! I thought you had already gone! Get out of your bed now!!!'

I hurriedly jumped out of bed and got ready for school and when I got there, I got detention. But I didn't care. I'd rather get a three-hour detention than be forced to climb a virtually endless tower and probably die.

School went well despite the grueling punishment, but now, the next step was to train hard. Normally, It would take at least twenty years to master fire, but if I wanted to save the world, then I would need to master the power of fire by two.
