10 "Prisoner"

a few moments later on top marines warship, Rei looked around in awe as this was his first time he went aboard a huge warship.
"gyahahahaha! looks who's here boooys!"
a rude voice interupted Rei, as several boorish man encircled him, the marines who brought Rei onto the ship just stood still without doing anything.
"hey, hey, hey...who is thiiiis?"
"hahhaha, you don't think we will meet again don't you?"
"oh! oh! guys look! it's a freaaak! gyahahhhahaa!"
Rei was familiar with these boorish men whose currently encircled him with mocking gesture. they were all the remnants of Boss pirates! Rei was bemused by their change of attitude whereas some of them were begging him mercy yesterday, one of them even peed his pants!
"it's good to see you again boys..." Rei answered calmly while smiling.
*ptui!
one ugly pirate actualy spat on him which accurately landed on Rei's face!
"GYAHAHAHAHHAHAAHA!"
'Crack!'
the loud sound of bone cracking interrupts the pirates laughter as they watch in horror their fellow pirate's neck turned 180 degree back still with the laughter expression!
'thud!'
as the ugly pirate body fell down, with menacing smile Rei asked, "did you guys think with me being here while restrained, i can't do anything to you?"
'Clack! click!'
the marines were stunned and starts to points their riffle! as the pirates? they were scared out of their wits witnessing how Rei killed their companion in an instant!
"what's this? want to shed any cordiality left now aren't we?" Rei sneered while opening his arm wide, no one knows when and how he freed himself from the handcuff!
"don't move criminal! or we will execute you on the spot!" yelled one of the marine as cold sweat trickled down his cheek.
Rei glanced around and shrugged his shoulder, "don't blame me, my agreement to leave peacefully was with marines..."
Rei glancing towards the rest of the pirates as he continued, "..and not with these pirates."
"do, don't be ridiculous! we are not pirates! we, we are just...."
Rei, "just...?"
"we are just concerned citizen, right guys? guuuys???" as the pirate asking around his companion, how surprising as no one answered him and the rest of them pretending to glances around not daring to get involved.
Rei smiled widely toward the poor pirates as he says slowly, "oh my~, alone now are we?"
the pirates sat down while losing control of his bowel! he saw Rei tilting his head towards him.
"i think you guys need to be reminded. listen very carefully, I'm not trapped in here with you, you are trapped in here with me!" stopping for a moment Rei observed the others pirates, he sneered showing his pearly white teeth and continued, "so~ welcome aboard..."
as the situation getting tenser, suddenly Hardy loud voice could be heard!
"what are you bastards doing!"
everyone turned their focus on him as he continued,
"and why he's not handcuffed?! put him in the brig! did you hear me!!!?
"AYE AYE SIR!" answered the marines as the pirates slips away scared by Rei.
one of the marine brought a rope to tied Rei's hands, and Rei simply let him. then he pulled Rei along to the deck bellow. as they were at the entrance Rei stopped for a while before following the marine.
after descending a set of staircase twice, Rei found the ships brig were not place for human to lives! musty smell pierced the nose, and fungus were grown everywhere, what Rei couldn't stand the most was theres no sunlight, the room was dark as it could be.
glancing to the marine, Rei said, "i'd prefer to not be put in there."
the marine opened the brig's door and said crudely, "silence criminal! get inside!"
the man didn't think twice as he pushed Rei inside roughly and locked the brig, he walks back to the upper deck while whistling.
when the marine step out to the deck he witnessed his crewmate bustling about and as for the pirates? they were drinking and joking on the corner with their new friend, Rei! Rei was seen drinking with the pirates as if they were an old friend! and the pirates didn't mind it as they were drunk already.
at first the marine didn't think twice with what he had seen, however after a second look, his jaw wide open with disbelief! he coming closer with stomp and yelled,
"you! what? how?" his voice almost incoherent as he pointed towards Rei.
Rei turned to meet his gaze and smiled, "i told you i don't prefer to be put in there."
"silence! you, you..."
suddenly, a hand tap him on the back making the poor marine jumps in fright!
"i thought, i already told you to put him in the brig?" whispered Hardy witholding his anger.
"si, sir! i already, already..."
"already what! listen to my order now!" Hardy yelled right in front of the marine face.
the poor man nodding as hard as he could, he tugged the rope from the floor intending to pull Rei along, and yet somehow the bind had already undone! without any choice he tied Rei's hand once again.
then with a smile Rei followed him to the previous route, descending the stair twice, opening the brig, and locked it.
while walking back, the poor marine couldn't help but thinking it back again and again. as he steps out, he vigilantly saw the pirates side, Rei wasn't there, with huge relief he turned his attention to the other side.
the poor man realy couldn't close his jaw as this time he saw several of his crew mate were eating and drinking with Rei! that's right, somehow Rei was back to the bright sunny deck once again.
"god damn criminal! how! how! how!" he yelled and stormed towards Rei.
Rei reaction was only tilting his head with innocent expression.
'sluuuurp!'
"you want to eat, mate?" Rei said while finishing up his noodle.
the poor man had no choice but dragged Rei back to the brig, this time he was on the verge of tears.
when he steps out for the third time, he gave a huge sigh of relief as his watchful eyes didn't notice Rei pressence, and yet the poor man was again exasparated as he found Rei sleeping on the ships bow! so he had to repeat of what he had done once again!
after repeating the same thing for the 6th time, the poor man was really on the verge of breakdown, when stepping out he immediately checked every corner of the ships, hoping he didn't find Rei everywhere.
after making sure everything was in order without any sign of Rei, he decided to get something to drink and walk to the crew resting area. slumping his tired body on the table he heard someone asking from behind.
"you want to drink something sir?"
"ale please..." he answered feeling exhausted.
"here's your ale sir, please enjoy."
the wooden mug filled with ale was served in front of the poor marine, however he didn't notice who was the one serving him ale, as he drank the ale, he saw Rei standing besides him with innocent face while holding a serving tray and wearing white apron with marine logo on its chest.
'SPLUUUURRRRT!'
the poor marine spurted out his half drank ale to the person sitting ahead of him.
"yo, yo, yo, yo, yo....." spechless he could only point at Rei with his trembling hand.
Rei was realy entertained while making fun of this man, he tilted his head slightly and smiled.
"BASTARD CRIMINAL, I, I, I'M GONNA KILL YOU!!!"
the poor marine pulled up his sleeve and looks like getting ready to pounch at Rei, however Rei was calm as he pointed towards somewhere with his chin.
noticing the gesture, the man looked towards the place Rei hinting at.
"si, si, sir!"
the poor man just now noticed something terrible, in that place Lt.Commander Hardy were wiping his face clean as a certain someone spurted out the drink to his face earlier!
"sir please forgive meeeee!" the man throw himself to Hardy's feet as he prostrated forcefully.
the man bawled himself out as he complained how Rei was such a bully and he had to repeat what he had done over and over again!
"sniff* sniff*, boooohooo! siir! please! you have to find justice for me! he, he, he was such a bully! i really can't do this anymore! booohooo!" with tears and snot all over his face, the man pointed at Rei.
Hardy was unmoved as he stared Rei straight in the eyes and said, "i thought you will come peacefully?"
"i am, i didn't do anything out of line right?" Rei answered lightly.
Hardy stood up as he moved away from the crying marine on the floor, "then why didn't you complied? you're criminal, jail is the place for you."
Rei shrugged, "i'm sorry Lt.Commander, i agree to come with you, but i don't like to be put somewhere without sunlight."
Hardy raised his eyebrow hearing that, "you afraid of dark?"
Rei sighed as he looked outside and said slowly "...i just like being outside, Lt.Commander."
no one knows how badly Rei wanted to be outside, more than half of his life were spent inside the dark room with minimal UV light. he had just enough being inside.
Hardy was silent as he keep staring at Rei, until finaly he walked outside and said, "do whatever you want."
"is it okay Lt.Commander?" Rei was astonished, he didn't expect Hardy to be quite lenient.
without looking back, Hardy answered, "we're on the ship, where do you think you can go?"
the ship in any sense was a 'prison' by itself, in the middle of ocean it was really impossible for someone to survive without it.
Rei smiled a little, "thanks.." and he whispered.
Rei moved outside while looking for the place to rest, as the poor marine? he was left behind without knowing what to do.
Rei saw the ship crow's nest on top of the main mast, so he decided to rest there. when he saw a marine personel keeping lookout on the nest, he kicked him down without remorse. the exasparated marine were helpless and returned inside ship's cabin.
Rei was now on the very top of the ships structure, everywhere he saw was blue sky, sea, and clouds. as Rei relaxed he felt an immense sense of gratitude for whatever reason he could get here to this new world, without any need to constantly watch his surrounding. a free bird he thought.

suddenly, the system remainder appeared and Rei finally remembered that he still has gacha chance, Rei was busy helping with Happy Town construction before thanks to his immense strength, especially looking after the children.
thinking about the children, Rei missed them already. after a few seconds of reminiscent he said, "system open."
