Chapter 11; Pretty imbecile
Ma Roo walked past her and called her to follow him to the mall for shopping but she came following while staring at sights she had never see in her life,"Hey are you coming?" Ma Roo shouted at her, but the noticed something strange. People's sharp gazes were sweeping across her and whispering to themselves,"is that girl mad, its so cold to walk-in a summer dress." he then realised now that she was wearing a simple sleeveless white dress,he walked back to where she was staring at the traffic lights and bustling people and then he took off his jacket putting on her shoulders and held her hand," come, let's get going or else we will be late." he said. She didn't say a thing but just smiled at him revealing small dimples on her cheeks, " Hey, don't smile like that or else... " he paused and didn't know what he wanted to say at the very moment. Rin was so curious about what he wanted to say so she asked," Or else what?" she asked in a playful voice with a smile on her face which made Ma Roo feel awkward though he didn't know why he felt that way, to change the subject he scolded her, "Why do you walk without warm clothes when you know its winter? Are you stupid or are you a fool? " he asked giving her no better option. "I think fool sounds better." she replied with a smile.
Ma Roo, "..." he was speechless because this girl kept getting on his nerves time by time, he wondered how it would be
with her for a whole year which made him more nauseous. After gaining back his calmness,"Let's go to the mall, we might be late, we gotta get some discounts. " he then dragged her. Hye Rin just continued smiling with happiness and disbelief seeing things she had never seen in her life. Seeing Rin smiling stupidly, he thought she looked pretty and he also smiled without realising it while looking at her but after he realised it that he's smiling he thought to himself,"What am I doing now?.....Am I getting swept away by this girl's foolishness?! Oh God! " After that they were already inside the mall. Rin was now drooling. Ma Roo pinched her cheek and told her in a small scolding voice,"Hey, don't embarrass me please!" Then he let go of her which he was holding from outside," Okay, now let's go get you some new clothes and things to use." he told her walking past her. She had to hurry get to him and keep up with his pace but also wanted to look around the mall and see the surroundings which was not possible at that time.
In the clothing section
"Hey, I think this will suit you." Ma Roo pointed at a pair of white Versace pants with a jacket on the dummy. He thought white and silver looked better on her, so most of the materials they bought were either one of the two colors. After something like three hours, they were finished shopping. Ma Roo came to Rin and said,"Wait for me, Am going to come back after paying this." he then gave her a slightly visible smile and he went off.
Hye Rin decided to look around as waiting for Ma Roo to come back, She came across the children's waiting area where young children were waiting for their guardians. Most children were playing with toys and other drawing pictures while others were chatting or fighting. She then came across a bench with only one person seated there, the little girl who was seated there was busy with her phone with ear phones in her ears while licking a big circular rainbow lollipop which attracted Rin's attention that she couldn't take her eyes off the lollipop. After three or five minutes of staring, the 11 year old couldn't take it any longer, so she took out her ear phones and said to Rin while pointing at the lollipop, "Hey, Unni, you want this." Rin immediately nodded. The little girl then handed her lollipop to Rin, "Are you also waiting for someone?" Rin nodded while licking the lollipop. Then little girl added on,"But you old enough that you can even do shopping on your own, Why are you even at the children waiting section. " The little girl found this Unni to be strange.
At the cashier's table
Cashier, "Sir, your payment is 567,000won."
Ma Roo,"Are you serious? I calculated well while buying, I bought things with discounts, my payment should be between 490000-500000won, do you think am stupid." The cashier was stupefied, she had thought the young good looking man was a second generation who didn't care much about money so she said the income without discounts. "Um..sir, am sorry, I might have made a mistake with my calculations. your payment is 489700 won." she then made a new receipt handing it to him after Ma Roo took the receipt, he asked the cashier ,"Don't you have anything else to say?!" The cashier didn't seem to get what he was saying so she asked,"Sir, I don't think I know what you saying?" Ma Roo then smiled,"At the entrance there is a banning which says that a customer who shopped thing that too many without a car is given free transport service for his things." he said proudly.
Children waiting area
Rin was licking her lollipop while the kid was on her phone when her mom came," Hey, Byul come on let's go" she stood up and placed her phone and ear phones in her back pack as she was going, Rin waved at her signalling good bye, but the girl ran back like she had remembered something,"Unni, you said your guardian said he had went to pay, don't you think he's now finished." Then Rin said,"Is he?" with a child's look.
At the other side Ma Roo was looking for Rin but couldn't see her anywhere and couldn't think of a place she's at. He had ran around the mall for more than a quarter an hour," At least I should have known that she's gone before they took the things and I could make a refund." he retorted but not giving up to look for her. He was now at Children's section. As he was going to enter the Children waiting area, he heard a female voice calling him from behind,"Kang Ma Roo, is that you?" he thought it was Rin but when he turned around he was disappointed.
