Chapter 10; You sure crazy.

Ma Roo stammered a bit before gaining his speech stability back," Your eye color was grey but now... it's pink. I don't think you had enough time to change the contact lenses." After hearing that she covered her hot burning face with her palm but Ma Roo then let go of her without notice bumping down her back and bottom so hard," What was that for?" Hye Rin asked widening her pretty pink eyes. Ma Roo felt bad and embarrassed for a second , to hide away his embarrassment he then said, "I don't care, anyway your eye color..." but before he could finish up, she interrupted him. " about my eye color changes because of my emotions but most of the time it was dull in the sea." he didn't understand what she meant . He just picked up the broom from the floor ,"Go , I'll do everything myself, it seems you sure crazy." he then climbed up the ladder to remove the cobweb himself.

After cleaning up, he found her in the seating room running around from item to item and touching his things seeming to have sighted them for the first time, She headed for the aquarium then after seeing it and squat down at his little aquarium talking to his fish," Yeah? Were you also locked up like me? .. hmm. I ran from home also but you guys didn't get so lucky like me. uh huh.. our owner... yeah, he is not a bad person.. he just seems lonely ? what does that mean? ...

You can't explain... ok, but since the day I met him at the sea ten years ago, I can't forget him. " After hearing this, Ma Roo came to her, scaring away all the gathered fish to hide in small castle in the aquarium and pulled her hand up," How old are you?" he looked at her with mixed emotions, she looked up and answered," I'll be sixteen not in many months from now on." he then let go of her hand, " Yeah, how could a five year old save me from the sea?!" he thought and then looked away, all these years, he didn't know the person who saved him but every time, he tried playing back the film on his camera, he wouldn't exceed his parents' fight, his heart hurt so much. Thinking about it,he felt his heart heavy.

"Your emotions smell stronger. Are you okay?" she looked at his cold back. He turned around again and gave off a distant smile at her, " Rin,. if am not wrong, I guess you can't use any of the things in here." She then looked surprised and happy," you've called my name but the way you called it is pretty, I like it but I can use a broom ,squeezer and most of the cleaning materials." He replied, " That's because I taught you how to use them." He then pointed at the aquarium, "This is an aquarium.." before he could finish, she again interrupted," It's sea creature prison." he shook his head and said," You sure are crazy and stubborn, give me a chance to finish up. it's where people keep beautiful sea creatures to look at their beauty , sometimes to calm down..." she interrupted him again," Without their permission?" feeling frustrated, he moved away to the coffee table and held the remote," This, it's called a TV remote control." "What's a Tv?" she asked seeming puzzled. "Are you really from Earth?!" After a few hours of explaining and teaching, it was finally exercise time. Ma Roo went over the microwave," What's this?" Rin answered immediately," That's a microwave, it's used for cooking, reheating and baking.." seeing that she had understood, he didn't let her finish,"Ok, what's this?" "That's a mobile phone." she answered. he questioned her for a few minutes, seeming that she had understood, he felt tired and sat down," Even though you sure crazy, you have a quick brain but my question is that, if you really live on earth and you didn't know these things, where are you from and gave been?" she answered his question with a simple phrase," i am from the sea." he looked at her and pulled her to next where he was seated,"Rin, by any chance, to you escape from the asylum?" he asked and paused and continued," Or do you think that you are mermaid? cut the crap." She looked so attentive like in a serious lesson but then answered,"Yeah, am a mermaid. though I read many scrolls saying that our identity can scare people but I don't think it will scare you." she answered with all seriousness. He then burst out laughing so hard," hahahahah... hah, at first I thought you were serious.... cough.. cough.. ok am scared, Mrs Ariel, Triton's daughter." he pretended to bow. "Am saying the truth." she looked wronged but also happy cause since she came she had never seen Ma Roo laughing with his heart, except giving off cold chuckles and distant smiles," Am saying the truth." he laughed again and then calmed himself down,"ok, You'll kill me, cough, ok, Now, your hair. it's too long and curly and what scares most is that you dyed it white. people might think you are demon." "What's dyeing? " he replied coldly," what you trying to say that that's your natural hair color." she nodded. "okay, I don't care but did you bring your own things with you or do we have to go shopping." she said, " I brought nothing except for the stones in my bag because I heard that they are precious on land." she answered with her head down but then seeming to have remembered something, she looked up and asked,"what's shopping?" Ma Roo was now frustrated, he rubbed his head and calmed himself down and answered,"Shopping is when you go to buy supplies you don't have and now let's go." He then stood up and asked,"Aren't you coming?" she stood up immediately and followed from behind.

They went to a jewelry store first. Ma Roo was bargaining with the manager,"150 million is little, at least add another 50 million." He then pulled away the jewelries to put them back in his bag but before he could, the manager finally gave up," ok, 200 million won. deal" he pulled them back from him and continued,"but where did you get these precious jewelries and stones, they're such a rare sight." "it seems like you want to know a lot, I think there are many jewelry stores who would like these done than you." After hearing this, the manager gave up his investigation.

Ma Roo headed out to where Rin was seated and said, "Hey, I think it's now shopping time , you crazy girl."
