Chapter 16 (I don't like him)

Ash took out his phone and checked his bank account, there was only *400 left in his account.

'Shit man, I need to start working again.' He thought. 'I gotta get back up before people get curious why I'm at the corner.'

Ash walked to the gun room, wanting to try. A few were there, but he was the only one who didn't know how to use a gun.

He walked up to one of the stands at the shooting range. A target was set in front of him, but he didn't even know if the gun was loaded yet, and he didn't even know if it's a need to wear safety gear.

Ash aimed for the middle, about to shoot, before a pair of ear defenders was on him. He turned to see Owen smiling at him, he grabbed the headphones and put it on his neck.

"Why are you here?" Ash asked. "I was finding you, plus your gun isn't loaded and you aren't wearing any headgear." Owen replied as he passed Ash some bullets for the pistol.

Ash thanked Owen for the bullets and loaded the gun, he stood in his position preparing to shoot before Owen grabbed his arms to help him a bit.

By then, Ash was ready to shoot. He aimed carefully at the target and he shot. The bullet wasn't in the center of the target but Ash was really happy.

"I got it!" Ash jumped excitedly. Seeing Ash happy as ever, Owen couldn't hold bck and kissed Ash. Everyone looked at the couple.

"Oooo" someone said from behind. Ash laughed at the sound and so did Owen, suddenly Mlan shouted, "I knew it!"

"Yea, yea. You're right, I'm in love with this dude, but I don't know if he likes me back or not." Ash replied.

"So, boss. We all want to know now, do you like him?" Maurie stood next to Milan.

"No, i don't like him.."Owen said. Ash looked heart broken, was his love only one sided? Ash looked down

"I Love Him."

Ash looked up at Owen. Flushed at his words, suddenly cheering was everywhere. It is now official, their boss has a lover, and a cool one too.

'This is going quite fast, even though it has almost been 6 months since I last met him.' Ash thought.

"Hey Owen, how many days left till the deal is off?" Ash asked Owen.

"Oh, i don't even remember. What date is it today?" Owen looked at Ash. "26 of November."

"Damn, that was fast, the end of our deal will be in a week."

That was too fast to be happening. No hell way it is in a week.

Ash pulled Owen down to his height to reach his ear. "So do i marry you or i have to rent?" Ash asked.

"You have to wait for that answer" Owen smirked. By then everyone went back to training already.
