(Asahi POV)

A huge swarm of mosquitoes formed a dark, big sphere around Mosquito Girl, casting a shadow over the street. Genos, standing next to me, seemed tense about the swarm.

It felt weird getting to fight alongside my favorite character from the series. 'This fight means a lot for his character' This was Genos's first on screen appearance, and the beginning of his relationship with Saitama.

'If I want to have Genos become Saitama's disciple, I must make sure that Saitama gets involved.'

Regrettably, it means holding back against Mosquito Girl, and prolonging the fight for Saitama to arrive.

"I advise you get some cover, Asahi. I intend to incinerate all the mosquitoes in a single strike." He warned me.

"Don't worry about me, I'll be fine"

The ball of mosquitoes finally descends, flooding the street. The swarm breaks apart buildings and closes in on us.

Yet the mosquitoes fail to inflict any harm to us, due to our unique bodies.

In the dark surroundings, blue sparks emerge from Genos' hand, soon emerging into bright orange flames that engulf the mosquitoes.

The fire spreads, escalating until it reaches a tipping point, sending the mass of bugs high into the sky. However, the flames grew too powerful, breaking the wall of insects.

Kaboooooom!

A fiery explosion towers over the city skyline, swiftly engulfing the entire block in sizzling heat. I disperse my body into countless light particles to avoid the flames, while the entire city section glows a bright orange from the heat.

I reconstruct my body back its normal form. The whole town is still sizzling hot and the area is charred black. Blood covered all of the streets and smoke rose from buildings. Genos stood there with his arm out smoking from the attack.

"Since she spoke, I thought she would have at least human-level intelligence. But she was just a bug, leaving all the mosquitoes into one easy-to-burn swarm." Genos said to me.

"I don't think we're out of the woods just yet"

"There is nothing more, she has been eliminated" Genos looked puzzled.

"No, this is just the beginning"

I point to a red figure in the sky. Genos looks on in shock at what he sees: Mosquito Girl, fully recovered from her injuries. Her sudden change turned her skin blood red, with enlarged spikes and wild, flowing pink hair.

"Ha Ha Ha. Idiots. I no longer need the tiny ones!"

"Look how strong I've become" She slashed the nearest building.

Whizzz.....Boom!

The top half instantly shattered into pieces. She gains a wicked smile as she directed her gaze on Genos.

'Oh no, you don't!' She darted toward Genos with incredible speed, too quick for him to react. Just as she was about to slash Genos from behind, I executed a bone-shattering drop kick into her side.

Boom!

She is sent crashing into a apartment building, causing it to collapse and trapping her underneath. I turned to the stunned Genos.

"Those claws can cut straight through your metal body, try to maintain as much distance as you can" I advised him.

"Understood!" Genos gave me a nod, as he charges up his arm.

Mosquito Girl smashes through the rubble, soaring into the air. Her eyes now staring at me with bloodlust.

"I'm going to tear you apart first!" She screams, her voice seething with rage.

Charging straight at me, she slashes with incredible speed, leaving deep scars in the ground. With the use of Kami-e, I dodge all of her attacks effortlessly.

As her attacks intensifies, her attacks become more frenzied. She aims for my head in a desperate move. Swiftly, I bow my upper body 90 degrees, leaving her vulnerable.

"Incinerate"

Genos fires a beam that slams right into her face causing her to lose her balance. Using the opportunity, I ram my fist in an uppercut directed at her chin.

Mosquito Girl is sent into a daze, and I swiftly follow up with a roundhouse kick, sending her flying in Genos's direction.

Genos dashes towards her with his remaining arm and delivers a forceful punch to her stomach, causing her to cough up blood.

"Argh! You idiots!" she snarled, swiping at Genos, leaving a deep gash across his chest, making him to gasp for breath.

'Light Beam'

A ray of light speeds through the air, slamming into her and hurling her several feet away.

"You alright?" I asked Genos

"I can still fight" Genos replied, with determination despite his injuries.

Once more, she begins her wide, sweeping attacks, tearing apart the street in an attempt to harm me.

I strike back with a right hook, causing her to stumble from the punch. It gives me an opportunity to follow up with a knee kick to her abdomen, and finally, I send her flying with a kick.

At that moment, she regained herself and grabbed several large chunks of concrete, hurling them in our direction. Reacting quickly, I extended my arms and released multiple light beams.

Kaboom, Kaboom, Kaboom!

Explosions shattered the rocks, leaving a dense cloud of dust. As the dust cleared, Mosquito Girl emerged, looking even more deranged and ready to attack.

"Ha, Ha, Ha" She laughed like a lunatic, as she heads right to me.

Clang!

My hand, now with a black coating catches her claws. Startled, Mosquito Girl struggled to break free from my grip, but I didn't budge.

Crack!

Her right claws snapped like toothpicks under the pressure of my grip. Her expression shifted from one of crazed amusement to outright fear.

In the corner of my eye, I notice Genos aiming his hand at Mosquito Girl. His hand begins to emit an orange glow, a sign of incoming attack.

"Keep her still," Genos ordered

Blue sparks come from his hand as he charges up for a powerful attack. Mosquito Girl desperately tries to escape. She claws at me with her other hand, nothing connects as I shift my body into light.

"You! Let go of me!" She yelled at me.

"What happened to all that strength?" I tease her.

Whooosh!

Soon enough, Genos unleashes the energy, a wall of fire hurtling towards both of us, scorching everything in its path.

Choosing to confront the flames directly, I coated my entire body with armament haki, maintaining a firm grip on Mosquito Girl as she looked on in horror at the oncoming flames.

The intense heat engulfed us, spreading across the entire city block, leaving it further charred. Once the fire subsided, the area remained smoking hot. I dispersed the armament haki, except for my hands, still holding onto Mosquito Girl's arm.

Her arm was completely charred black, and the rest of her body seemed gone. 'Did she die just like that?' Focusing my observation haki, I noticed her in the sky.

She had visible burn marks all over her body. It was apparent that she took some serious damage from the blast. However, that didn't interest me.

"You know, I didn't expect you to cut off your own arm, I'll admit that takes some guts" I honestly told her.

She glared and attempted to fly away. 'Who said you could leave?' I dropped her severed arm, conjuring a ball of light in my hands.

"Yata Mirror"

I take on a light physique and bounce off the nearby buildings. In a split second I was in front of Mosquito Girl.

Grabbing her by the neck, I slammed her down onto a nearby apartment roof, causing more coughs of blood from her.

"Did you think, I'll let you get away"

"You…!" She coughed out.

She swiped her arm in a wide arc. In an instant, I appeared behind her, evading her attack, which instead cut a nearby building in half.

Launching a rapid barrage of punches at her, each strike moved at blinding speed, some appearing as afterimages.

'Muda Muda Muda Muda Muda Muda Muda'—dozens of jabs relentlessly struck her, leaving her defenseless against the onslaught.

I eventually stop the attack, and step away from her. She immediately collapsed to the ground. 'I probably overdid it. I might have just ruined the plan.' Checking on her, she had no power left in her, but she was still conscious.

Lifting her up, I descended to ground level, still carrying her over my shoulder. In the distance, I spotted Genos engaged in conversation with none other than Saitama. 'Now's my chance!'

"Saitama, Watch Out!"

I hurled Mosquito Girl with all my might directly at Saitama. The bald man turns his attention to the incoming bug, and in return slaps the bug.

Whooooosh!

The slap created a large gust of wind that roared through the area. The slap spattered blood all over the place and Mosquito Girl is nowhere to be seen.

"Mosquitoes suck!"

Genos stood there in utter shock at the scene that unfolded before him.

"Hold on! Please tell me your name!" Genos asked.

"Oh. It's Saitama."

"I'd like to be your disciple"

"Oh. Okay…..Huh?"

I watched in amazement as one of the most important moments in the series unfolded right before my eyes. 'Mission accomplished.' Genos had become Saitama's disciple.
