Chapter 1: I Just Wanted Directions.

Disclaimer: I do not own One punch man or Invincible.

Nolan was standing over his sons broken body, torn between conquering the planet on his own, or abandoning his mission. Abandoning his mission would mean turning his back on his species, which was on the verge of extinction. Fulfilling his mission, however, would require him to kill his son who, along with his mother, he had grown to love. An emotion that he had never experienced before he came to earth. No there was still a third option. Nolan opened his mouth to make one last attempt to convince his son to join him, but was interupted by a most... unusual person.

"Uhh, sorry to bother you but could you please tell me where I am ? I'm kind of lost." Nolan turned around and saw, a skinny bald man with the plainest of features, wearing only sweat shorts and a baggy sweatshirt with the Japanese word Opai written on it. Nolan almost dismissed him as a threat or of any importance the moment he saw him. But something told him this man was far more than he appeared to be.

Now that he thought about it, how was he even here? The avalanche he caused when he smashed Mark into the mountain should have buried and/or killed any people who were nearby.

Perhaps Cecil sent him. But why would he send him in such... attire? He should have been on stand by ready to go deal with him. Not dressed like that.

Regardless, who he was and who sent him and why wasn't important. What was important was whether or not this man could or would do anything to stop him.

"Leave, this has nothing to do with you." Said Nolan. "Hey no need to be rude I'm just asking for direct- oh." The bald man only just noticed the blood covering Nolan's fists and the battered and bloody figure he was standing over. "No this is definitely my business. I can't just let you just beat someone to dea-"

Nolan flew forward, superman punching the man in the face. He was expecting his blow to tear through the mans head like it wasn't even their, but instead encountered skin and bone that would not break soveasily under his might. He followed through with a far more powerful righthook to his foes shiny head, this time sending him skidding backwards, as well as a small jolt of pain through Nolan's arm. He ignored the feeling and and rushed at him at a speed untraceable by the human eye.

He was behind the man in an instant, his right elbow smashing into the small of his back. Then grabbing his foe by the neck, smashed him into the ground head first.

Before Nolan could press his "advantage" the man was back on his feet facing Nolan, completely unharmed, with a look of excitement on his face.

"I actually felt that, come on give it- oh wait, false alarm, my scalp is just itch-"

Nolan rushed the man intending to punish him for his lack of caution. He unleashed a flurry of punches at his opponent, trying overwhelm him with the sheer speed and power of his attacks. Surprisingly, his opponent managed to dodge his attacks by merely leaning and shuffling from side to side, all while picking his nose, he even had the audacity to hit him in the face with one.

"Oh man, I'm sorry I didn't mean to-" Only to be interupted again by a punch to a face. "Shut up!" And another , and another, and another. Nolan decked him in the face at least another 13 times before the man had enough. On the thirteenth blow he finally decided to return the favor.

"Normal Series: Normal Punch."

A blow, comparable to the those thrown by the likes of Conquest and Thragg, slammed into Nolan's chest breaking multiple ribs, nearly bringing him to his knees. "Oh you survived, I was worried that would kill you. So what's it going to be? Are you going to surrender, or do I need to hit you a few more times?" The man said in his normal monotone voice, but his eyes now held a flicker of interest in them.

Nolan didn't like that look. It made him feel small and helpless, like an ant who just caught the attention of a child with a magnifying glass.

How long would it be before the man got sick of toying with him and killed him, or worse? No, he couldn't think that way. Sure the man was stronger and faster than him but his form was sloppy, and his attacks predictable.Yes, he could win-Nolan hastily brought his arms up to his head blocking his opponents blow. His right forearm took most of the force of the blow, breaking it, causing some bone to jut out of his skin.

Nolan snarled with rage, smashing his left hand into the baldy's chest with all his might, breaking his pointer and middle finger. This knocked the over powered man back a great distance, but he came back as quickly as he had left, none the worse for the wear other than a fist sized hole in his hoodie.

Before Nolan could so much as blink, the baldy was already on top of him with his arm smashing into his stomach. This time Nolan doubled over in pain, and would have covered the baldy with the contents of his stomach if he hadn't already backed away.

He couldn't win like this. No he couldn't win period. Though negotiating with the man wasn't off the table. Maybe he'd be open to working with him if he explained that what he was doing was for the good of all of humanity?

Standing back up Nolan cleared his throat ready to make his case, with his good arm up in the air in surrender.

"Your giving up?" The man said, lowering his fist slightly.

"Not quite." Said Nolan

The man raised his right fist to where it was before. "Well seems like I'll need to-

"No, no I want to explain myself." Nolan said with a hint of desperation leaking into his voice. "You see I am here to bring this planet under the rule of Viltrimite empire. We want to make this planet into a utopia with our strength and advanced technology. We would end poverty, disease, world hunger, every problem that plagues humanity would be solved. All we ask for in exchange is this planets allegiance and resources. Someone like you would be an invaluable ally. Help me bring this planet under our rule and I promise you-" Nolan was interupted by yet another almighty punch to the face, dropping him to the ground like a sack of potatoes.

"Yeah, yeah, I don't care. There was no answer, and as the man looked closer at his foe, he noticed a weird bulge in his neck. As he approached his fallen foe he saw a most most gruesome sight. A large portion of the mans jaw was gone, with only some strips flesh and small pieces of bone remaining.

The man was somehow still alive, his tongue(what was left of it at least) writhing around in what was left of his mouth, as if he was trying to say something, but only gurgles and blood came out. His eyes where full of fear, anger, and above all else, regret.

"Shit" said the man. He did not want police knocking down his door to arrest him. But now that he thinks about it a bit more, the guy did say he was an alien, and no one cared about all the alien invaders he had killed.

So he was probably fine.

But while he didn't really care too much if the guy died, and definitely wouldn't lose any sleep over it, he didn't want to leave him to slowly die in such a painful way either.

The bald man raised his foot above his foes head. The mans eyes locked on to his, silently pleading with him. "I'm sorry." And with those words slammed the heel of his foot down onto Nolan's head.

Location: Somewhere beneath the Pentagon.

Cecil couldn't believe what he had just seen. One the most ordinary men he had ever seen had killed Omni-man with ease. After checking to make sure he wasn't dreaming, that hallucigens hadn't been put in the Pentagon's water supply, and that their drones hadn't been hacked, he finally accepted that what he had seen and heard might, just might have been real.

Almost everyone else in the Pentagon was in a similar state of confusion. With one exception, Deborah Grayson, Nolans wife. Something had broken in the poor woman after she saw her husband die. She would not talk to anyone, she would not eat, she would not sleep. Cecil had Donald watching her at all times (yes even when she went to the bathroom) to make sure she wouldn't kill herself. He couldn't have her killing herself, telling Mark that his father was dead would do enough damage to his psyche on its own. Hearing that his mother killed herself as well could break him, or worse.

Cecil, once he had gathered his bearings, ordered his staff to run a facial software recognition program on the overpowed baldies, face. His name was Saitama, a 25 year old unemployed highschool drop out, and little known hero who lives in district Z of New York city. Named the Z district because of a Zombie outbreak that started there in 1971. The district has a dark and violent history even before this occured, and has experienced more disasters, both natural and unnatural, then any other part of New York City. One of the dealiest gang wars in history started there, it has been the starting point of over a dozen alien invasions in the last 40 years, been hit by multiple meteors, was nearly taken over by demons in 1963, and many more. Only criminals or the desperate lived there.

Cecil had a hard time believing the man was human. Sure Nolan was far from invincible, but only monsters and other aliens had ever been able to hold their own with him. Maybe he was the creation of a mad scientist? An alien who came to earth as a baby and adopted by human parents? A god pretending to be mortal?

Regardless of his theories, he still needed to meet this man. "Sir he's leaving, should we have the drones follow him?"

"No we already know where he lives, and even if he doesn't actually live in district Z we can easily find him using other, less risky means. Oh and Larry."

"Yes sir?"

"Send a crew to pick up Invincible and Mr. Immortals body, we need them both back into fighting shape as soon as possible. Have another team pick up Omni-man's body as well." Cecil said, his voice turning grim, well grimmer than usual at least.

"Understood sir, it will be done." Said the generic staff member.

Giving his employee a quick nod of approval, Cecil turned around and started walking away to another part of the Pentagon, to deal with other matters that needed his attention.

The world wasn't going to manage itself afterall.

A/N: As you can see I rewrote the first chapter. I'm also really bad at authors notes so I'm going to keep this short. I read the newest chapter of one punch man on Manga freak, and was inspired to do something different from what I initially had planned. So I killed Nolan. Bye.

P.S: Please leve a review, I don't care about powerstones I just want to improve, and it's difficult to do that without any feedback.

I won't be updating this fic very often, at best I'll update it once a week, and at worst once every other month. I just wanted anyone who reads this fic to know that. If your looking for consistent updates I recommend that you go read Jmanm's or Goldfingers work. Thanks for listening to my Ted talk.
