In an abandoned area of Ghost Town in Z-city, on the evening of the day, a boy in his twenties with dark black hair, dark pupils, and a handsome face could be seen walking with an expressionless face.
Though he had no facial expression on his face, he was curious inside about what kind of world he has been teleported too...

I have been walking about 5 mins from that abandoned place and it seems that people do live here. According to what I have seen this whole area seems to be abandoned by the government/powers of this world for some reason...

After about 10 min(total) of walking, I finally see a grocery store and there seems to be a TV outside of it. I started walking towards it and when I got near it, I could hear the reporter speaking. After listening to all the news I was shocked :
"BIG NEWS, this morning, Agoni, the multi-millionaire announced the opening of an organization called the 'HERO ASSOCIATION' that will manage all the cities' heroes for the sole purpose of protecting the innocent from the monsters/evils..., "the reporter reported happily hoping that finally, the world could be a little peaceful...
Listening to that, I came to the realization about something which made my lips morphed into a creepy smile. He said 'hero association', 'heroes', and 'monsters'..... Hahahahaha seems like I have been teleported to One Punch Man world, an anime that I watched in my previous life and, now it seems that it has turned into reality…
And not only that it seems that I am on the timeline of the beginning of the story, so there are still 3 years before the start of cannon.
Hahaha, this feeling..., this feeling of knowing the future of the world that I am in and knowing that it is possible to become immortal and get rid of the boredom I have suffered in my previous life, this feeling is amazing…

In front of the grocery store, Alan could be seen lost in his thought with a creepy smile, he did not show his emotions outside but inside, he was excited about he getting teleported in One Punch Man world, knowing its possible future and having possibilities of being able to have powers like S-rank heroes and Saitama...
While this was going on the owner of the grocery store was staring at Alan, "What a weirdo!!"

Coming out of my thoughts I realize that I was staring at the TV with a creepy smile and it seems that the grocery shop was staring at me thinking I was a psycho.
Now that I know which world I was teleported into, this system is definitely not of this world as I know that technologies such as the system do not exist.
Taking about the system, I found that I am the only one who can see this and it seems to disappear and appear at my command just by a thought which is very convenient.
...
Now, because the system shows my stats in level and it has an experience bar and this is a world where physical power is regarded as true power, I can assume that when I fight I get exp and can later invest it in raising my strength, agility, endurance, and talent, similar to those systems I read in novels/fanfictions.
I look around me and see no one near the area except the shop owner then I walk towards the shop and got near him. He expected me to buy something so he gave me a fake smile.
With an innocent smile, I asked him to give me some grocery items, with that he turned backward and got to the place to collect the items, surprisingly when turning backward, the only thing he could see was a punch heading straight towards his face only two inches away…

After I knocked the owner to the ground, I saw the screen appeared in front of me again:

So, my guess was half correct and half wrong. It seems that I get exp when I defeat someone by any means necessary, it doesn't need to be a fight, even a sneak attack is ok and I guess, the stronger the person the higher the exp...
Then without wasting any time I collected all the money he had and the money from the drawer where all the shop's money was. Then I picked some knives and food needed for me, then stilly and cautiously moved outside the shop.

It seems that I escaped before people's gazes neared me. Well, that was my first time stealing, in my previous life, my parents left huge assist before passing away which was all I needed for survival.
But here I don't have any money, so, I have to thief for easy money before I join the hero association or kill the monsters as I cannot waste my time earning money by working all day except training and fighting. So, this was necessary...
Anyways, looking at the condition of this place, this is definitely Ghost town, so the police here won't give much attention to the case...
Ohh, the sun is setting, I should rent a room in an apartment or if I stay any longer the monsters will be crawling onto me…
After some time of walking, I found a good area to live in, for now, then after paying the required money, I entered the room. It was a normal room with a bed, table, chair, and a small kitchen. Well, this is enough for now...
