4 Devil fruit

Surprised to see the old man waiting for them Satyr Jr yelled.

"Why are you not sleeping, old man. Don't tell me you were worried about us so much that you couldn't sleep? I'm so touched!" Satyr Jr half cried while running towards the old man, before Satyr Jr could hug Jimmy he was punched in the head and he flew back a couple of meters unconscious.

"Stinking brat!" Jimmy cursed while grinning.

Mark picked up the unconscious Satyr Jr while walking towards Jimmy.

"Why aren't you sleeping?" Asked Mark with a worried look.

"I couldn't sleep." Said Jimmy in a hushed voice.

"When are you guys leaving?" Asked Jimmy while leaning back on his chair.

"Tomorrow I guess." Answered Mark lazily while yawning.

"I have something for you." Said Jimmy while picking up a little box which lay next to him.

Mark was surprised to see it, he obviously knew what the item inside the box.

"This is my farewell gift for you guys." Said Jimmy while slowly opening the box, he failed to realize at this moment that Satyr Jr already woke up.

Jimmy took out a fruit looking item which looked tan/brownish with patterns all over it looking like wavelengths.

Before Jimmy could give they fruit to Mark a silhouette jumped up from his unconscious state an took a gigantic bite of the fruit.

Jimmy was surprised for a second and so was Mark.

"Bah! It tastes horrible!" Satyr Jr spat out the fruit while licking his hand with his tongue.

"Idiot!" A flying punch came straight on top of Satyr Jr's head.

"Av!" Screamed Satyr Jr.

Mark just shook his head while looking at Satyr Jr helplessly.

"Do you know what you just ate the kid?" Asked Jimmy in an annoyed and helpless voice.

"I thought it would be something good but it tasted terrible, that's not right! Was it poison? Old man, you poisoned me!?" Satyr Jr was starring daggers at Jimmy while gritting his teeth.

"You haven't been poisoned, you ate a devil fruit! Now you have officially lost the ability to swim." Said Jimmy while shaking his head.

"What I can't swim anymore? But I am going to be a pirate soon, Mark! Say something" Satyr Jr looked at Mark trying to win some compassion.

Mark kept shaking his head in disappointment.

"You were pretty reckless," Said Jimmy with an apologetic look.

"What did eat?" Asked Satyr Jr hurriedly trying to look for an answer.

"What you ate, is called a devil fruit." Said Jimmy while leaning back in his chair. He continued after a couple of seconds

"Devil fruits are mystical fruits found throughout the world that, when consumed, provide the eater a special ability, depending on the type and variation of the Fruit itself.

There are three types of devil fruits Paramecia, this is the most common type, then we have Zoan type which lets the user involve into an animal, and at last, we have Logia this is the rarest of the three devil fruits types.

The one you just ate is a Logia type devil fruit known as Earth-Earth Fruit."
