15 Where's my darling?

A commotion was clearly taking place outside as screams and bangs could be heard across the ship. The two heard someone scream in a shrill voice.

"Where is my darling?!"

A meek voice replied. "I-i-i-i- I don't know! Hic!"

"You were with them earlier, clown! Don't lie to me!"

Buggy cried. "I really don't know!"

A sweet voice consoled him. "It's okay. Just tell me where my little toy ran off too. Then nobody has to get hurt.~"

Alex shivered while hearing the voice. Shanks looked at him with pity. "Yours sounds worse than mine." He whispered.

Alex nodded frantically.

The two then heard Buggy cry out in pain. "Why is it always meee???"

Alex and Shanks giggled before looking at the rest of the room.

There were three people with them. One was lying on his bed, staring at the ceiling with a bored expression. Another was lying on a couch asleep with a blindfold on. And the third was staring at the two with disapproving eyes.

The one staring at them spoke up. "You're not allowed to be here. Leave."

They one lying down smiled. "Don't be such a party pooper, Akainu. Look at the poor kids, they're scared shitless."

Akainu scowled. "They shouldn't be here, Kizaru, this is our room."

Alex and Shanks looked at the guy on the couch. "Hey, Sengoku destroyed his house!" Shanks said with a smile.

The man woke up. "Eh? What happened to my house?"

Alex laughed. "Sengoku was trying to catch us and he destroyed your house."

The man nodded. "So that's what happened."

Kizaru laughed. "Don't you care at all Aokiji?"

Aokiji shrugged. "I got a new one anyway."

Alex laughed. "You're a funny guy."

Aokiji replied. "Thanks. But, why are you two running away from pretty ladies?"

"We're thirt-" Shanks was about to say his age out loud but Alex figured that was a bad idea to say in front of the super serious guy and cut him off.

"She kept calling me her toy…" Alex replied in his place.

Aokiji nodded. "Don't stick your dick in crazy, Zephyr taught us that. You guys should hide out here until the pirates come."

Alex smiled. "Thanks!"

Akainu grumbled. "They're NOT allowed to be here."

Kizaru and Aokiji both shrugged. "Who cares?"

Shanks laughed. "You guys are pretty cool."

Alex sighed. "Did you guys hear about the devil fruits they're giving away? I can't believe they have 5 lying around."

Shanks snorted. "Who wants a devil fruit anyway?"

Alex nodded. "Most of them are pretty dumb, plus imagine eating one without knowing what it was. You'd have to be an idiot."

Shanks grinned. "I heard your Pops did that."

Alex sighed. "... I would believe that."

Shanks laughed. "It's obvious anyway! Captain is still stronger without a devil fruit! Plus he can swim!"

A laser beam pierced the wall behind them, while a fist a magma landed at their feet and the air around them started to freeze.

Alex started to fake laugh. "Devil fruits are so cool! Ha-ha! I wish I had one SO bad!"

Shanks nodded along. "The coolest! So so cool!"

Aokiji smirked while still lying down and Kizaru laughed.

Akainu just looked pissed.

Kizaru looked at the two boys and asked a question. "If you guys could have any devil fruit, which one would it be?"

Shanks stood his ground. "I don't need one. I'm going to be the strongest on my own."

Kizaru sighed. "Boring, but an admirable wish."

Alex smiled. "I'm pretty much the same, other than one fruit."

"Which one?" Kizaru asked.

Alex pursed his lips. "I don't want to jinx it."

Kizaru sighed. "You guys are no fun."

A knock on the door interrupted the conversation.

"Boys! Have you seen our little friends around?" Sarah called from the other side of the door.

Alex looked panicked as Akainu started walking towards the door. Shanks smiled and looked at Aokiji and Kizaru.

"This is why devil fruits suck!" Shanks said as he jumped out the window and plummeted towards the sea.

Alex laughed before running at the window. He jumped out while making a peace sign with his hands and splashing into the water beside Shanks.

Just when he hit the water Akainu opened the door.

Sarah and Maya looked inside until they realized that Shanks and Alex weren't in the same room.

"Do you know where my darling is?!" Maya asked frantically.

Akainu responded curtly. "They just left." Before slamming the door in their faces and walking away.

Maya and Sarah clicked their tongues before going off to search the ship again.

Shanks and Alex swam over to a ladder on the side of the ship and began to climb back on deck.

They went back to their room and dried off before changing. The moment they stepped out of their room they saw Maya and Sarah standing at the other end of the hall.

The four froze, staring at each other with wide eyes.

"PIRATES!" A recruit shouted from the deck.

Shanks and Alex smiled and high fived. They were elated at their luck!

Sarah and Maya clicked their tongues.

All four of them ran up to the deck and spotted an approaching ship. Because this was training for the marines, they were told not to use cannons to test the recruits abilities better, so the marines waited for the ship to come within range.

Alex and Shanks looked over at the ship. "A bunch of newbies." Alex commented while pointed out certain things the pirates were doing wrong.

For one, they had no cannons, a rookie mistake. They also were scrambling and out of order with a few people running away under the deck. Alex clicked his tongue, there was no chain of command! These guys were losers!

Shanks nodded. "A bunch of weaklings."
