Looking at the fammiliar yet unfamiliar ceiling before him, Roy was confuse.

Seeing the floating characters did not help either but perhap because of what it means, it solved part of the reason why he still kept his calm at this moment instead of freaking out like a banshee..

That's right, exact, bar-like notification like the one in the Manga called 'the Gamer'.

Roy felt frustrated and had an urge to smack his head on something but fortunately his [Gamer's Mind] took effect quickly, calming him, making him felt amazed to this godly skill again.

Looking at the quest before him, Roy felt expectant and quickly click 'Accept'

Leaving his room, he quickly found a 'maid' who passed by and quickly drag her to his room.

"I see, so that's it!" Roy had a surprise and enlighten expression as the little maid look at him with a flush and suspicious face.

'Quest Completed'

'You've increase you're level by One.'

'Reward; 500 EXP and Predecessor's memories are successfully fused. '

Closing his eyes, Roy analyze the new-found memories in silence and wonders.

The amount of information is massive, Fortunately he had the [Gamer's Mind] otherwise it'll knock him already.

"So that's it, no wonder.. " Roy muttered and then look at the little maid again who he finally knows 'who'.

"Thank you west, you can leave now, oh by the way, don't tell anyone what I asked, just keep this episode secret." Roy said and after a few more instructions, the little maid 'West' who still had a confuse and suspicious expression finally left his room.

Sighing, he leaned over the wall and couldn't help but wanted to complain.

Of all worlds he had to crossed, why One Piece?

That's right, throughout the conversation he had with the little 'Maid', he learned that he was in the place called 'Roran Kingdom', a small country in first half of Grandline.

After integration of memories, he also learned his identity.

A son of a merchant, who had a net worth that exceeded a Hundred million berries.

"The background and start is good though.. " Roy nodded and called out his 'status' again.

The previous level '1' increase and become level '2', and he had also gain an additional 5 status points.

Roy had a thoughtful expression as he did not know where to invest his stats points?

Although the 5 SP is very few, knowing what build he wants early on is very important.

After all, he did not want to become the original gamer who take a lot of time and detour before he realized what 'build' suit him the most making the allocation of status points messy.

Thinking of this, STR seems good.. As the world who was dominated by people who had monstrous 'Physique', investing on strength is indeed a good choice.

But, is physique alone enough to dominate the world?

Perhaps it could after reaching a certain level but how long it would take? Roy isn't sure.

AGI? A speed type seems good, as a man who had died once, he knows the importance of life more than anyone, having an ability to escape in a dire situation is very important!

INT? A mage build like the original gamer? Seems good, but as far as he knew, there isn't a Mana in this world, what if MP, means Haki? Or Spiritual Energy etc.,?

Roy felt complicated, and felt like wanting to choose AGI and STR but after several consideration, Roy finally decided to invest in INT.

He wasn't sure if he could use mana in this world but if he couldn't, INT is still a good build for increasing his IQ.

Roy is a guy who prefers using his brain than muscle, and although speed type is also good, Roy wanted to have an ability to face difficulties on his own.

Roy, with the help of the predecessor's memories headed towards the dining and had the maids serve him food.

After filling up his stomach, he headed towards the Mansion's Library and began his grinding.

In the original manga, Jihan can increase his INT and WIS through reading.

Honestly, this method of powering up is the most safest and most 'Bug' abilities of the 'Gamer', but perhaps the author want to made the manga more interesting or maybe Jihan was too bored to read and found fighting more fun, anyway Roy didn't care.

Pick up a random book on the shelf and read it thoroughly.

Looking at the notification bar, Roy had an excited smile and ones again started reading.

He was woken up by 'West'who brought him food and was surprised to find that 6 hours had passed already.

Looking at the little maid who had a strange expression on her face, Roy took the tray of meal, hurriedly thank her and then had her leave him alone.

While eating, Roy browse his notification Pannel.

'Due to a specific action skill has been created'

Looking at the notification, Roy had a satisfied expression and once again open his status.

'Other than the increase in Intelligence, new skills, nothing change—oh, and the 'Job' column have a '+2' on it by the way..'

Seeing this, Roy had a confuse Expression on his face and decided to see it.

'Due to specific skills, a [Job] has been created.'

"I see.." Roy felt enlighten and realized it.

Looking at the available [Job] in the option, which is [Scholar] and [Mathematician], Roy had a contemplative expression.

The seeker of knowledge. Allow to user to understand the roots of Everything.'

To calculate the universe? Allow the user to understand the essence of the universe through mathematics.'

Both 'Job' sounds grand and attractive, the former can allow him to become a better scientist while the latter can make him calculate universe through Math.

To be honest, he knows that he had more choices other than these two, hence he can learn skills and create a 'combat' typed that lean towards 'fighting'if he wanted, but Roy refuse after some thoughts.

Why? Perhaps because he had read a lot of fanfics that turn MC into a 'muscle man' solving things with a punch (which is full of stupidity and plot armour) or perhaps because he just don't want fighting which is normal as a law abiding citizen of Earth..

Shaking his head and after much deliberation, Roy finally choose the Former.

While the latter sounds OP, he felt that [mathematician] isn't better than [Scholar].

[Job Specialization has been created. please choose one of the Following.

"Okay, choosing is bit harder than before.." Roy couldn't help but frown

The seeker is self explanatory, it was a good trait, and was OP after the said knowledge was applied to reality..

Thinker was basically a must for an aspiring Inventor..

Sage can be considered both non fighting and fighting class..

And the Wise Man... Sounds intriguing, Honoured One really? What's next? I'll become Gojo Saturo or Bhudda something?

Ugh, this is hard.

Roy felt pain in his heart as he find it hard to choose what's better, but in the end he finally choose the one he thinks that most suitable for him.
