"Come again soon" the cashier says with a smile

A young man with greyish black hair exits the store holding a bag full of groceries in his left hand while looking his phone with the other

'It's getting late, I should really be at home right now finishing the assessment Mrs. Stevenson assigned for the class last week' Jade sighs frustrated that he can't be more productive with his life

"I'm home" Jade enters the house expecting a response from someone 'huh, they must be asleep already, I'll just stay quiet then'

Jade takes off his shoes and proceeds to head upstairs into his room. The room is filled with shelves full of manga and figures while the walls are covered in multiple different genres of anime posters each from a different anime.

This was a variety of romance, action, sci-fi, mature, horror, etc. Just name the genre he would most definitely have it

He sits down onto his gaming chair and sees his reflection from the nearby window next to his setup.

Jade had average looks which can't really be called handsome but can't be called ugly either. He was 5,11 in height and had a more slender figure than the average male. He was slightly athletic and would go to the gym one or twice a week to keep up a routine so that his body wouldn't deteriorate binge watching anime for most of the day

The only thing of looks that was going for him was his unique black hair with greyish tips and his dark blue eyes that would usually carry his looks or well that would make him blend less into a crowd

His social status in school was just 'that guy' that people would occasionally talk to, to ask "what time is it?" or "can you please pass the --- ?". Needless to say that he would be what gen z would call an NPC.

He excelled in his mathematics skills and his physiology skills but overall he was half decent in the rest of the subjects.

He didnt really associate much with his family as he was usually busy with his studies but he had a good family nonetheless. He has 2 sisters and a step dad due to his dad unfortunately dying from a car accident which was the lowest point of his life. He has a older and younger sister both being 2 years apart of age away from him. Jade loved his family and if he could go back in time he would spend more time with them

'godammit I need to do something with my life' Jade sighs as usual, this was like a daily routine of contemplating his life choices. Jade wasn't a complete loser but all he wanted was something that would spice his life up a bit like a unique hobby of some sorts

He lived an average life throughout his whole time of being alive. He had a single relationship in early high school which did not last very long as she moved away across seas and she did not want a long distance relationship. This was jades first day of contemplating his life choices. Jade told himself to stay way from relationships until he finally got his shit together. He didnt even have a clue on how to handle one as he hasn't even had his first kiss yet so he will just stay a lone virgin for now

Jades only hobby was watching anime or reading manga which resulted his popularity in school to lessen as nothing of his character was not really interesting enough to socialize with. He only has a few close friends but didn't really hang out with them as much due to commitment issues.

"Oh well, future me can deal with depression but right now let's start finishing One Piece" He clicks on the 828th episode of One Piece preparing to spend half of the night watching the show

All of a sudden an add pops up

'Ugh why won't adds let me be happy' Jade tries to find the x button but couldn't see it anywhere

'I don't even have a choice?' Jade thinks frustratedly as he couldn't click off the ad or the website in matter of fact

"fine.. let's find out what's this shitty off brand One Piece game is all about, what's the worse that could happen?" jades sighs to himself again just accepting fate

Jade clicks [yes] and on the screen it starts flashing which completely messes with Jades mind making his sight slightly blurry

Jades sight gets blurry and blurry until his sight is completely gone
