Chapter 42: Trust is a Risk

~Third POV~

The promise day has arrived as for the people in the village of Fanalis Village were already evacuated into Kuro Door Dimension keeping them from harm only leaving with Kagero, Ram, Hazel, Qrow, Summer, Morgiana, Rodan, 35 Faunus hunters, and Kuro were waiting to see 200 desert type Grimm all coming towards their location.

When the three experience Huntsman saw this they were now worried if they can defeat such a large number of them but Kuro saw this and looks over to small ball of fire on his shoulder saying to him, "Ok they have appeared it's time to dwindle there numbers, Rodan make sure to make a big show alright?"

Rodan in its ball form nods its head while Ram looks over and says to Kuro, "Kuro sir how is that ball of fire going to help us?"

The rest seeing this had the same opinion as Ram as how Rodan but soon grew wide eyed seeing Rodan quickly charge at the Grimm changing into its Pteranodon form charging into the Grimm burning them with its magic infused fire!

Seeing this Kuro gave them a smug look and says to them, "That is way I just had Cinder help me create it with a ball of magic fire and simply give it a part of my soul to make it a living entity while giving it a form of its own."

Explaining this to the group extremely shocked them but mostly the idea of giving your soul to create something was something was impossible for them to understand.

But they had no choice but to believe in it since it was happening as they saw Rodan in real to make it possible!

However, Kuro says to his group while he makes his way to the battle field saying to them, "Ok Ram summon your shadows to take the fight, Kagero you have full permission to go all out, and Morgiana use your logia sand abilities to destroy them as much as possible."

With that Kuro quickly flashes over to the field opening doors to the nearest Grimm nearby and making sure to avoid any physical contact with his Observation Haki and knew where to transport them to.

As for the Grimm that were forced into the doors where immediately met with the burning chemicals from Neo trap as they were soon shot at by lighting from the automata's using Nora as a source of fuel for them to use as ammunition as Rem was shooting light beams at the Grimm when they made contact while Cinder was releasing a large amount of fire on to them burning them in the process.

But the most surprising was that when Kuro gave him the order to go all out Kagero went out to the battle the Grimm in close combat and seeing that the Grimm numbers where going to overpower him he used his Castle Castle fruit ability.

When Kagero saw he was about to be ambushed he says these words to change the tides leaving a few surprised at the sudden change, "Grimm numbers… a lot time to initiate transformation… activate Castle Mode: The Iron Moving Fortress!"

Kagero soon activated his Devil Fruit ability to change himself covering in large sheets of Iron soon expanding to a more heavily modified version of him while also increasing its combat with cannons on parts of its body and turrets on its shoulders and flying above ground!

When Summer was seeing this she was very surprised to see that Kagero transform so she asks Ram to get some answers seeing she seems to be the most trusted she saw her encountering Kuro, "So Ram care to tell us how Kuro was able to make a fire breathing dinosaur and has a super fighting robot?!"

Ram looking at Summer as she fought alongside everyone and the 35 Faunus fighting the Grimm she just replies with a voice of uncertainty, "Sorry Summer… I don't think I can answer that yet since Kuro hasn't said anything about it then it's something not worth mentioning but Kuro looks like he might share you on his secret but don't worry for now."

Summer could only reluctantly nod her head soon enough they continue the fight while the Grimm numbers are being destroyed in a in the progress.

Kuro made sure to also help anyone when needed if they were caught in the ambush attacks, Morgiana uses her sand logia ability to destroy any Grimm harming her family, Ram's shadow soldiers were tearing apart the Grimm at a fast pace, the Summer, Qrow, and Hazel were all dealing with the Grimm individually to help reduce their number.

Kagero and Rodan just kept on the assault to make sure that the Grimm are destroyed by their excessive fire power or artillery fire that they kept on launching on them while making sure to not harm their allies.

Everything has been all according to Kuro plan as for the other Grimm that he sent to the Door Dimension where immediately executed from Cinder, Nora, Rem, Neo, and the automata's assaults on them completely obliterating them before they could ever have a chance to retaliate.

The 35 Faunus hunters from the tribe also contributed to the cause as well ever since training in Hungry-La Island and getting some good source of food for them they have been able to completely rejuvenate themselves in full strength again and used their Semblance of Nemean Coat the war with the Grimm soon became a massacre.

With their Hereditary Semblance they were able to fight to their hearts content making them invincible for a period of time as well helping each other's backs.

Soon over the course of a few minutes everyone was tired and exhausted from the fight but in the end they have won the fight and survived as well as cheered that they lived and fought for their very right to exist.

Kuro soon opens up a big door for everyone to see and makes an announcement while smiling towards everyone…

~Kuro POV (10 years old) ~

As I was standing there in front of everyone, I was proud to be the one to announce this, "Everyone today we have fought for our right to exist our right to live! So by today till the next day we all celebrate for our rights to be free from today and enjoy ourselves like no tomorrow is everyone with me!"

"Yeah!"

"Oh, hell yeah we agree!"

"Oh man I can't wait for the amazing food!"

"Take that you Grimm bastards we won and lived?!"

Soon enough looking at the scene before me I see that I managed to convince everyone to join me in for the celebration while I was smiling at the mission completetion I got for this it was a big pain for me during the few days ago.

Seeing my hard work everyone soon joined inside the Door Dimension making sure that we can all begin in the celebrations as soon as I float to the ground again I was soon met with the three of them, 'Well so far they have put there life on the line to help me and its time I began to show that level of trust as well.'

Remembering my time when I explained to my group my original identity of me being a reincarnated person, I thought they wouldn't trust me anymore since a few days ago, but I was glad I trusted them.

When I told them about what I could recall of my past life of my previous life I thought they would look at me like I was crazy but to my surprise they still followed me to the end because I managed to change their lives.

Smiling to myself knowing a bit I know what I did trusting others was a risk that I could've avoided entirely but when I recall my time when they want me to trust them on important matters, I took the risk to tell them the truth.

I was really grateful that they understood me and stayed by myside through this while I think to myself, 'They are really great friends to have… all the more reason why I can't lose any of them and deal with the four of them soon.'

Soon I made my appearance to the Hazel, Qrow, and Summer with a smile on my face as I say to them, "I see that you three kept your word at helping me by joining my cause as such I will show you the amount of trust to you guys by answering any remaining questions you have for me."

Soon Summer was the one to speak as she was wondering about what Kagero did, "Actually Kuro I have a few that I want answers the first I want to know is what did Kagero do to grow and create more iron to use as armor?"

Ah, that one is the first one I suppose looking over to Qrow I decided to help him out by bring out the Raki Raki no Mi or better known as the Luck Fruit to them as they soon get curious and one curse remover.

Then I began to explain to the three of them of what the fruit is as I hand it over to Qrow with the potion in an educated tone, "That my friend Summer what Kagero did was use his abilities of the Castle fruit making him a castle robot the ability to become a living castle of any kind to its ability knowledge that is how he made it possible, and that Qrow your holding is a Devil Fruit a mystic fruit granting a user an extra ability."

When I started to explain to them, they all got a shocked reaction that they all say to me, "Devil Fruit?!!"

Yeah, I was expecting that kind of reaction of them, so I began to explain to them, "Yes they are called Devil Fruits something I called them myself from my Semblance they grant the user unique abilities but comes with a curse that you can't swim in the sea or salt water ever again always trying to drown you but the potion I gave you can remover it guarantee. The one I gave you Qrow is a Paramecia type."

They all look confused about what I meant so I briefly explain to them what the typing's are and there capabilities as I finally discuss to them what Qrow was holding, "Qrow the one your holding is call the Raki Raki no Mi or better known as the Luck Fruit the ability to control your own luck no matter what and can transfer them to any object or anyone as well as steal there luck as well."

When Qrow heard that he didn't hesitate to eat it and chug the potion and soon enough he immediately grew wide eyed seeing the effects as he can control his Semblance now, "I… I can control my Semblance… I can control my Misfortune…"

Nodding my head satisfied with the results I ask the three of them to follow me, "Alright you three we have more important stuff to talk about how about we get to talking what to do next about your previous bosses and enjoy some high quality food you guys in?"

They nodded their heads towards me as Qrow was really happy to get control of his luck well I showed them my trust and I hope the risk I made was worth it because now the next step is to build my Kingdom.

The next step is Menagerie to build a Kingdom for all to be treated equal will stand maybe I should create it like Mary Geoise next.
