Chapter 27: Much Needed Shopping and Hunt Begins!

~Kuro POV (10 years old) ~

Right now, as soon as we get rid of the body of the previous Spring Maiden, I already set course the direction to the Badlands which will take us a week to reach place.

Now as much as I like to use the tokens right away but first, I have some questions that need some answers for us to confirm…

I know I can rely on my future knowledge for what was going to happen to the future but there are a few things I need to clear up that I need to confirm.

Gulp…

And at this moment, everyone is here at the top of the Re: Onigashima Tower as everyone is staring at the Relic of Wisdom waiting for me to use it.

I can tell everyone is nervous about the Relic, so I say to everyone present, "Ok then guys before we begin for me to sell this to my Semblance, I think we all need some answers about what is really going on right?"

Silence…

Rem was the first to break the silence when she tried to speak, "Kuro do you know a way to activate the relic?"

For better judgment I could only shake my head no better to be safe about this, "No… when I tried to find out how to activate this Relic there was nothing, I could find in the Headmaster Office like he was kept in the dark…"

Then Cinder begins to speak about the relic with a worried look, "But… the question is should we know right away if we did figure it out or find those answers ourselves…"

Now that is a good question, we all know for sure that Salem and Ozma are real and they exist, but would this be the right time to know…

You know after thinking about this they aren't ready to know yet about their past because this could break them, but they aren't ready to face the truth… at least not yet…

But I still need to know where the other Relics are, I know the rest are in the Academy's Vaults but what about the crown and the sword?

No… this isn't worth it… I'm not that ready to learn everything yet or else I'll keep on worrying.

With that, I look at them and say with a curious voice, "Well then I guess I better sell this and get us stronger, and besides well probably get our answers one day, but it doesn't have to be today."

I see everyone nodded at this yes… this is for the best besides I'll probably learn of this one day but as I am right now, I'll probably make more mistakes along the way trying to be wary about what I learn.

Oh, well as much as I like to know my answers there will be a time and place for it, 'Ok system sell the Relic of Wisdom immediately!'

With that, I see the relic suddenly vanished far away from us and to someone else problem.

"[Confirm selling the Relic of Wisdom… you gained 10,000,000,000 Lien for the exchange… now the Relic of Wisdom will be transported random in the Real World.]"

With that now I have a total of 12,001,492,544 Lien in my savings as of this moment and I look towards everyone with a smile on my face, "Alright guys I already made the purchases and I need some alone time to think on what to get so I was wondering can you guys give me some space?"

They all nodded in understanding and left the top floor of the tower while leaving me behind, good I need the space to do some private thinking of what I need now and for the future.

I lay down on the floor while saying to myself, "Ok from what I know the Badlands is a place where the people of Mistral are exiled for barbaric practices or exiled because they are banned for a crime they have done in the past."

With that in mind the environment in that place isn't what I would call livable since that area is scarce for food and fight each other add that with the environment it makes for a death trap in the heat and desert type Grimm makes it bad enough to live.

But it's also happened to be a part of Mistral that they don't control or make a say in that area since that place is considered an exile area for people with nowhere to go…

Still with the Devil Fruit Logia of the Suna Suna no Mi (Sand Sand Fruit) it makes a perfect home for a Sand Human/Faunus to control that area with little to no problem hell they might as well consider it their own private playground.

But… "There is hardly any plant or wildlife there to make it thrive or much less make a decent living."

Well at the very least I should probably only recruit the people willing to join me during my time in the Badlands and maybe search for talented people as well I bet there are a lot of them just waiting to be found!

But now that I have something to go off unfortunately, I still can't use my Devil Fruit Raffle since I still haven't passed the month just yet so for now time to search for some Paramecia Devil Fruits and get some Curse Remover while I'm at it.

~Third POV~

A few hours have past and Kuro was able to make a lot of purchases during his time in the store to see what would help him and his future members who would join with him to conqueror Remnant.

The first thing Kuro did was purchase was getting Curse Remover x10 which costed him 1 billion Lien since each potion cost about 100,000,000 Lien for it since he wants to have them on hand in case he needs them for a new member then he went towards the Paramecia Devil Fruit section to see which would help him the most.

After a while in that time he managed to get eight Paramecia Devil Fruits which means he spent 4 billion Lien to get them since they all cost 500,000,000 Lien a piece some of the broken ones are locked since they need a Mission first to open them much to his dismay.

But even if Kuro had to deal with the restrictions, he made do for the time being since he saw that some of them were broken in their own respect, so he did the purchase of the following that he can get:

Kobu Kobu no Mi (Pump Pump Fruit)

Horo Horo no Mi (Hollow Hollow Fruit)

Raki Raki no Mi (Luck Luck Fruit)

Chiyu Chiyu no Mi (Heal Heal Fruit)

Mosa Mosa no Mi (Grow Grow Fruit)

Kuri Kuri no Mi (Cream Cream Fruit)

Kuku Kuku no Mi (Cook Cook Fruit)

Bomu Bomu no Mi (Bomb Bomb Fruit)

When Kuro got the fruits that was available, he was glad he got it since they are all good for their different uses leaving Kuro left with about 8 billion left for him to use then he went over to the Devil Fruit Logia section of the shop and to his surprise he saw that all the powerful ones are open.

When Kuro saw this, he asked the system with a hint of annoyance, "System how come I have all the options for Logia while some Devil Fruits from the Paramecia section are locked?"

Then he heard the response from the system and gave Kuro a reason why he couldn't get the broken Paramecia Devil Fruits.

"[Kuro host, the reason why the Paramecia and some of the Mystical Zoan Devil Fruits are locked is because they are too broken to be used so I made sure you have to get them through missions since just one of them will break the world like your Moa Moa no Mi and Soru Soru no Mi but you still need to train them to the best to your ability.]"

When Kuro heard the reason, he can't help but ultimately agree with the system, 'Sigh… I guess the system has a point if I get the Hobi Hobi no Mi I just touch Salem than bam game over and you win or when I eat the Memo Memo no Mi just erase Salem's memory or Ozpin to spill everything.'

With that Kuro has bought 4 Logia Devil Fruit since each Logia fruit cost 1 billion Lien each the ones he got are:

Goro Goro no Mi (Rumble Rumble Fruit) x2

Shakou Shakou no Mi (Shadow Shadow Fruit)

Pika Pika no Mi (Glint Glint Fruit)

With that Kuro got all the Logia fruits that would be useful for the others he saw other Logia's that were strong, but he didn't choose to get them since he now has 4 billion left after the purchase.

However, when Kuro thought of each purchase carefully for his allies like for Nora he thought, 'I guess this is worth it getting Nora the Goro Goro no Mi since this would be helpful in the future with her Semblance as well as one for myself.'

When Kuro purchased the Pika Pika no Mi he had a plan in mind for Rem to eat it, 'With the Pika Pika no Mi Rem can add her power of the Noro Noro no Mi with it then she will not worry about her attacks being slow if she adds the speed of light into the attack.'

The last purchase for the Shadow Logia was obvious for Ram with her Paramecia Shadow control, 'As for Ram if she has a shadow logia with her Kage Kage no Mi she can get even stronger than before to what level I don't know but somewhere strong.'

With that in his mind he decided to see if there was a Mythical Zoan available for him to use on himself since his lacking the physical strength department.

When looking around the Zoan section he found one that would be useful for him and fits his cat theme look and his mink biology, so he bought it without any hesitation that costed him 2 billion Lien leaving him with 2 billion left over.

The Mythical Devil Fruit he purchased was from the Neko Neko category based on speed the Neko Neko no Mi Model: Byakko.

When Kuro had all these fruits already inside his inventory, he can't help but be glad that he finally has some good fire power.

But then a thought occurred to Kuro that made him somewhat worry thinking, "But still… is this enough to beat the Twin Gods of Light and Dark…"

Meanwhile in the city of Vale inside a Headmaster Office of Beacon Academy was a middle-aged man with tousled silver hair and thin brown eyes. He has a light complexion and sharp facial features.

He wears shaded glass spectacles and a small, purple, cross-shaped pin on the cowl around his neck. His outfit mainly consists of an unzipped black suit over a dark green, buttoned vest and green shirt. He also wears black trouser shoes and long, dark-green pants. In addition to his cane, his other frequent accessory is a mug bearing the Beacon Academy emblem, from which he drinks hot cocoa.

This man is named Ozma in the past but in the present times his named Ozpin the Headmaster of Beacon Academy and leader of the Ozpin group standing next to him is Glynda Goodwitch another person in his group.

Glynda Goodwitch a middle-aged woman that has very light-blonde hair tied back in a bun with a curl hanging down the right side of her face. Her eyes are bright green and she wears thin ovular glasses. She has dangling teal earrings that match the hanging pendant on her collar.

She wears a white long-sleeved, pleated top that has a wide keyhole neckline and gauntlet cuffs that flare in pleats at the wrist. Her lower body is covered by a black high-waisted pencil skirt with bronze buttons and black-brown stockings.

She wears black boots with bronze heels and a cape that is purple inside and black on the outside. The cut of the cape is stylized to end in flames and arrows, with a row of diamond-shaped bronze beads on the back. Above this line of beads appears an emblem of a tiara that is her personal symbol.

At the moment they were discussing in concern for their ally Qrow Branwen since he has gone to the bar more often than usual Glynda points her concern, "Ozpin sir, is it true what Qrow said a few days ago that his sister is gone?"

Ozpin looks over to Glynda and nods his head at her and says, "Yes Glynda from what I heard he took a few days off to mourn for her even though they haven't been seeing eye to eye didn't mean that Qrow didn't care for his sister even if they hated each other they are still family."

Glynda nods her head but also expresses a frown as well, "I suppose that even Qrow has his moments to show concern even to his own sister I hope he gets out of it soon it feels odd having him… sad all the time instead of him being drunk."

Ozpin also nods his head as well but that was when they heard the news of Lionheart from Haven Academy from his scroll, "OZPIN WE HAVE A PROBLEM A MAJOR PROBLEM?!!!"

When the duo suddenly heard Lionheart yell at them they felt really concern then Ozpin taking a sip from his hot cocoa asks Lionheart calmly, "Alright calm down Lionheart what is the concern is all – "

But that was as far as Ozpin could say before what Lionheart says freezes Ozpin on the spot and even Glynda from what they just heard causing Ozpin mug to drop to the floor and brake upon impact, "THE SPRING MAIDEN SAKURA IS MISSING AND THE RELIC OF WISDOM IS GONE SOMEONE OPENED THE VAULT!!!!"

In that exact moment Ozpin for a first time for a long while got up from his chair releasing his aura that caused it to spike somewhat scarring Glynda when Ozpin said, "WHAT!!!"

But he wasn't the only person to be surprised at the sudden news of the missing relic and Spring Maiden Lionheart already called Salem and told her the situation and her reaction was not nice.

When Lionheart gave the information of the Maiden and Relic missing, he told her that a person opened up a portal from the cameras and left that was the only lead Salem had on.

Salem responded to the cowardly lion while strangling him using the Seer tentacles, "Lionheart you better find that Maiden and Relic if you don't you better pray that you find them quickly before I'm done with you."

With that she let him go while Salem ponders what Lionheart says to her and narrows her eyes at the unexpected turn of events, "Who could've done this? There was no way for Ozma to do this since he wants them hidden so this could mean that an unexpected third party just entered our little war."

Salem smirk at this since this could mean for her two possibilities that the person knows were the other relics are and knows a way to open them or possible pawns for her to use recruit if they are worth her time.

But Salem shakes her no for the moment before she goes to her inner circle, "Still though a person who could teleport in a Vault and leave at their pleasure is someone that I need even if he or she won't join willingly."

With that she plans to discuss to recruit this person to her group with the other members that are with her currently.
