Nouva's consciousness sank, as he was overtaken by darkness. He had been watching Television when it suddenly exploded.
The loose shrapnel had littered his body with holes, while one had pierced his neck. Nouva gazed around in confusion throughout the darkness.
He was quite furious to have died such a ridiculous death. Nouva was certain he was dead, there was no other way, right?
Suddenly, an inconspicuous purple virtual screen appeared in front of Nouva. There was no voice, but he words written on it.
[You have died, but you have been given a rare opportunity for transmigration.]
[Would you like this opportunity? y/n?]
"Is there any way for me to return back home instead?" Nouva asked with a bit of hope.
[No! (You Died!) There is no going back!]

Nouva almost wanted to ask what would happen if he said no. However, he didn't want to think about such a thing.
With not much thought, Nouva clicked the yes option. Right as he clicked this option, this virtual screen flashed with a blinding purple light.
"Damn!" Nouva covered his eyes in pain until the light died down.
At that moment, Nouva checked again and saw a list of familiar comics and anime.

It would seem that the screen wouldn't go away unless he picked one of these options.
Nouva thought for a moment and weighed his options. He wasn't that knowledgeable about My Hero Academia.
"I honestly don't like the Naruto anime so I won't be choosing that one. I suppose Dragonball Z is a good one."
For Nouva, the best options here were Dragonball, Onepiece, Marvel, DC, and Star Wars.
"I'm the most knowledgeable about Dragonball, but I don't want to pick it." Nouva grinned before picking the Onepiece option.
"The idea of getting rich and roaming the sea as a pirate excites me." Nouva lavished the thought of creating his own crew.
At that moment, a list of questions appeared.

Nouva answered them thoroughly since these questions didn't have multiple choice. He chose a young age because this would give him time to train.
Nouva chose the age of Five and he wanted to create his body and appearance. Simple black hair, purple eyes, and brown skin.
Nouva chose to be born in a specific timeline where Luffy is still a kid. However, he would be Two years older than Luffy.
This meant that Luffy would be Three years old when Nouva was reborn.

Nouva double-checked his image and the answer to his questions before confirming it.

The virtual screen blurred and shook in a flash of light, sending out horrifying vibrations. Afterward, Nouva's body twisted and warped before being pulled into the void.
"Ahhh!" Nouva couldn't help but scream. It felt as if his body was being torn apart. As if his body was undergoing the process of spaghettification.
What appeared before Nouva was a flurry of colorful lights. Blue, Green, Purple, Red, Cyan, and Orange. This cycle continued for Five minutes, in a sort of hypnotic trans manner.
The colors kept flaring up before finally turning into the color white.
Nouva woke up—only to find himself face down on fine granular material. Gazing upward and inspecting his surroundings, Nouva knew he was on a beach.
"Pfft!" Nouva stood up and spat out some sand that got in his mouth. He also noticed that he was wearing a white shirt, shorts, and a pair of black sandals.
"Have I really transmigrated to the One Piece world?" Nouva saw the deep green tropical forest ahead. Gazing behind him, there, he saw an abundant sea that seemed to go on endlessly.
"Where is this? The screen said I would be teleported to either the North, South, East, or West Blue."
Nouva inspected himself, his hands were small and childish. Seeing this, Nouva could already guess his appearance since he created himself.
Right as Nouva was speculating—a purple virtual screen appeared before him. The screen revealed Nouva's status, abilities, etc.

Rubbing his chin, Nouva sat down on the beach and began to investigate his system. He wasn't in a rush to go into that tropical forest.
Nouva tried clicking some of the labels on his status page, such as [Will].
Will: This stat determines a person's ability to resist Poisons, Paralysis, Haoshoku Haki, Diseases, and other mentally based attacks.
-This will also help train Haki faster—depending on how high the stat is.
As for the other stats, they were self-explanatory.
"My Will is the highest stat I have. It also seems that I was born with Haoshoku Haki." Nouva knew that people had to be born with this Haki to use it.
Even though it was in his status, Nouva knew he wouldn't be able to utilize this Haki right now.
"This Plunder Unique Skill sounds like it might be something good."
Nouva clicked the Plunder Skill to see what it could do. Though, judging from the name, it obviously involved stealing something.

He couldn't believe it—to have gotten something so amazing. Unfortunately, the Four Seas didn't have many Devil Fruit users.
This was mainly because those big-time Devil Fruit users usually died in the Grandline or New World. Naturally, the Devil Fruits would reincarnate to the closest fruit in its surroundings.
This explained why Devil Fruits were so rare in the Four Seas.
"Okay, this gives me a big advantage. Before coming here, I wanted to do a few things, but they're not likely to happen."
Nouva decided to name himself. Originally, his real name was Nouva Frost back in his previous world.
'Hmm, should I name myself Frost D. Nouva? But Nouva Frost sounds so much better.' Nouva thought about it and decided to label himself with the D label.
Frost D. Nouva was the final verdict. It wasn't like anyone was going to call him by his full name often.
Nouva's eyes widened when his gaze landed on the [Exclusive Starter Crate].
"I've seen this in a few of those Novels. There was always some starter box or crate to help the MC."
Nouva was elated to be given this chance, even though he couldn't go home. He quickly clicked the [Exclusive Starter Crate] option before asking him for confirmation.

This Void Space only held items, but once anything was taken out; they couldn't be placed back in.
Nouva ran over the time item given to him. He was both thankful and speechless at the same time. Couldn't the crate at least throw in a tent or sleeping bag for him?
Nouva, however, didn't dwell on these thoughts for long. His attention immediately fell on the last three items.
The [Max Cure Medicine] gave off a vibrant blue light. The liquid was placed in a 16-ounce potion-like bottle.
Max Cure Medicine: A Bottle of medicine that's capable of healing any disease or sickness. This Medicine is extremely potent, so it must be diluted with water.
Note: A single drop is enough to turn 35 gallons of water into Max Cure Medicine. Do not consume raw, lest, you face the consequences.
"This stuff is crazy amazing!" It could cure any disease! This was too overpowered, though, chopper would go on to invent something like this in the future.
Nonetheless, it was still something incredible, rare, and viable.
