Flevance Part-2/2

Time was ticking away and time goes by quickly when you're enjoying yourself. When Nouva came to it, he found that he had slept for 11 hours.

"There's still 6 hours left before Lami's death, so the hospital is still going. However, the city has been placed under quarantine." 

Nouva pulled out some food and water to eat while he lay on his large comfortable bed. He ran the timer down by eating, stretching, and preparing himself mentally. 

In a flash, there were 2 hours left! Nouva left and flew toward the location in a flash.

All of these events took place in the morning. Nouva had woken up around 4 am in the morning.

Upon seeing the hospital, Nouva snuck in through a window. The hospital looked like a castle mansion, with a large red H at the top of the facility. 

"This building looks really sturdy being made from brick and concrete. The only way to set this type of building on fire is from the inside." 

The outside was basically invulnerable to fire, there was no other way. 

"Ugh! I'm gonna die!"

"Someone, save me!" 

"It hurts so badly, make the pain go away!"

Nouva could hear and see many patients complaining and in pain. The hospital was so packed that some people had to lie in the hallway.

Nouva checked the top floors but didn't see Lami there. However, he did find many kids, and he knocked them out. Afterward, he took these kids to the roof one by one.

No one could be bothered with him because there weren't enough doctors. They were busy working and going back and forth. 

What Nouva was doing was a conscious decision, as he couldn't bear to leave them to die. 

"Lami's not on any of the top floors, she must be on the first floor where her parents are." After all, Law's father owned this hospital and it was likely that they were on the first floor.

Nouva checked the time and quickly ran downstairs, he had 1 hour and 20 minutes left. 

And there he saw them, a man with glasses pointing patients to be taken to certain locations.

His wife was sitting in the room with their daughter, as Nouva happened to pass by and see. 

The man and his wife hadn't left the hospital yet where they'd later be gunned down by an extermination crew. 

"Mister Trafalgar, we need to leave, the government is coming to eliminate you and this city."

Nouva just went straight to the point, there was no time to explain.

"What? Kid, what are you talking about?" He was originally writing on his clipboard when Nouva called out to him. 

"The Marines will come soon, they'll burn this place to the ground. They've identified the sickness as a contagious plague that must be contained."

"The Marines would do such a thing? Would they kill so many people? Kid, where are your parents? Are they patients as well, you don't have to worry—we'll figure this sickness out."

There was only 1 hour and 10 minutes left before it started.

"I have the antidote, and I can use it on your daughter. Can you follow me, please?" Nouva said nothing more before turning and running toward Lami's room.

"Hey, hey! What are you doing? You can't just give people untested drugs!" Law's father was stunned and chased after Nouva.

Nouva wasn't the fastest on his feet but he was already ahead of Law's father. Running into the room, he pulled out the stainless steel bottle of liquid.

"Huh...child, are you lost?" Law's mother looked confusedly at Nouva and said with a smile.

Without saying anything, he grabbed Lami's head. At this time, she was unconscious and unable to resist.

"Stop!" Law's father yelled in horror seeing Nouva's actions.

Law's mom was stunned and she reached for Nouva, but he simply put up a metal shield to block all of her attempts.

Law's mom gasped, her eyes wide from shock.

Lami gulped down the liquid, her throat lit up with dim golden light. In the next moment, the soars on her body disappeared immediately.

As quick as the light came, it left in a flash.

"Kid, are you insane?!" Law's father was furious and he quickly snatched the bottle from Nouva.

He didn't seem to care about the strange metal shield that Nouva had created out of thin air. 

"Look..." Nouva didn't didn't care, the drug had already been implemented on Lami. 

Law's father turned to Lami and immediately noticed that her skin soars were gone. Soon after, Lami opened her eyes and woke up. She sat up fast and was full of energy and vitality. 

"This is...this can't be." Law's father couldn't believe what he was seeing. He even rubbed his eyes to make sure he wasn't dreaming. 

Yes, Nouva had already made this mixture a while back and prepared it beforehand.

"I can't explain now, we need to go. The world government is coming, and if they see you they will execute you."

"Execute? Why would they, when we have the antidote? When we show them this, they wouldn't do something like that."

"Do you really think they're going to listen to you? The government wouldn't accept being wrong in their judgment. When they show up, it will be on orders to exterminate everyone—no exceptions."

"How can you know so much, you're like 5 or 6 years old." Law's father looked at Nouva in disbelief, but he also believed Nouva at the same time. However, his brain refused to believe that they would do something like this.

Nouva's expression darkened, and then he turned to Lami, who was staring at him. He had thought of just taking her and leaving.

"Dear, this child could be right, he even had the antidote. I don't think we should stay, we need to find Waters and leave."

Law's mother had a bad feeling about all of this. She believed Nouva after seeing him heal Lami.

"If we're wrong, we can come back but I'm right, so it shouldn't be tested," Nouva spoke with certainty.

"Daddy, what happened? I feel better now, can we go home?" Lami finally spoke before moving to get out of bed.

"....."

Law's father was silent for a moment before saying. "Kid, there are so many people in this hospital, how can I abandon them?"

Law's father was torn between staying and leaving.

"If you're going to stay here or go out and die, then let me take your daughter away," Nouva said bluntly, his expression blank. 

By the time Nouva came to it, the time had dropped to Fifty minutes remaining. Law's father looked toward his wife as he seemed to be thinking of something.

Where could they escape to anyway?

Nouva had come nearly at the last minute for a reason. 

"No. Let's just go to the top of the roof and we can leave from there. I have a way for us to evacuate this place."

Nouva said confidently.

Law's mom and dad turned to Nouva. This kid was so small, but he could speak so well and seemed really informed. 

"Alright. Let's head to the roof." This was a tough decision, he was essentially abandoning his patients.

Nouva ran out of the room and the family followed. 

Law's father, whose name was Marshall—tried warning people but these people were too incapacitated.

They took as many people as they could with them, at least the ones on the higher floors.

Marshall could only apologize to those left behind, as the thought and sight of their deaths nearly brought him to tears. They had time to grab a few adults on the top floors before rushing to the roof.

Of course, what Nouva was saying was only hypothetical. Some of the doctors followed—at least the ones on the higher floors. 

Nouva was surprised that he was able to convince these people, but the medicine was the real persuader.

Some of the kids had already woken up and started complaining about the pain. Some cried, asking for their mom and dad.

There were some kids that had their parents while some of the kid's parents were still in White City.

Nouva gathered them all together before creating a large cube around them. Afterward, he quickly flew through the air and out of the city.

Once they arrived in the forest, they were all placed in cells by the humanoid golems. This was to prevent anyone from ruining anything.

Everyone was confused as to what was going on. How did Nouva just form a cube and fly it over the city?

They were filled with questions, but they couldn't be bothered to ask because of their pain. 

"Alright, let's check our progress..." While they were all placed in cells, Nouva was checking his quest progress.

Nouva's head and body felt tingly as if his brain was going through a drastic change. He blinked in succession many times while shaking his head. 

"Haha, it's been completed. Everything went smoothly, Law will still arrive at the hospital only to see it burning."

"Oh..." Nouva smiled seeing the extra gifts, this wasn't something he was expecting. 

The Communication Stone Set came in a pair, with one being White and the other Black. As for the Warp Stone, they were the same Purple stones which probably resembled space. 

Communication Stone Set: A set of stones meant for a wide range of communication. These stones have the ability to communicate with one another via voice.

Seeing this stone, Nouva suddenly had an idea.

AN: I actually don't know Law's father's name, since it was never mentioned. So we'll go with Marshall instead. Because, you know, [Marshall Law].
