13 The alliance
The plan was quite solid as Lucci knew the only real obstacle in his plan is Magellan, no one else can stop them even if they tried. He was also thinking about which Devil Fruit to steal for Jabra and Kalifa and come up with two that can be found on level 6 of the prison.
As for some future crewmate, he decided to recruit Mr.3 his fruit having the same potential as Katakuri's. Beside him, he thought about Mr.1 and some other pirates, but except the two former Baroque Works agents, no one satisfied his criteria. He still chose to get at least two hundredth or so people and train them using the marine six-styles, after all. Even if he's able to make an army of Blood Knights and their numbers will only grow in the future, they are still bound to him and can only be where he also is.
Then he thought about the warden staff and immediately come up with two new additions, but for them to join it will be quite complicated but not impossible. The two people in question being Sadi and Domino, both having easy personalities to understand. Sadi being a dominatrix that would excel at torture and interrogation but also very good at commanding troops in battle, while Domino is very similar to Kalifa and would be a good overseer of his staff. He even came up with two Devil Fruits that would fit them very well.
Meanwhile, as he was internally debating the future of his crew, the sound of the battle on Thriller Bark intensified as Nightmare Luffy entered the battlefield.
As he started to send Oars flying all over, rubble started to be sent into the sky. None of this attracted the Blood Moon's attention as they were currently relaxing their ship, waiting for the next day to come when the Straw Hats may be finally done with Moria.
The time passed by quite fast as the noise died down and dust settles, Kuma shows up once more on the deck of their ship right in front of a laid down Lucci.
"I've told you to go, Rob Lucci, otherwise I'll send you and all your crew away myself!" Said Kuma as the the appeared in front of Perona ready to fly her out of here, but as he moved his hand, a voice resounded behind him as Kumadori made a move.
~~ Slow Wave ~~ As he launches a move similar to their six styles but combined with his Slow Slow Fruit.
With his current slow speed, Kalifa, had an easy time moving closer to Lucci not even seeing Kuma as a threat after being hit by Kumadori.
~~ Blood Chains~~ Said Lucci as multiple dark crimson chains wrapped around Kuma holding him in place through the application of haki.
"You are quite ballsy to try something like this in front of all of us, but it's quite understandably since you consider us a danger to that boy." Said Lucci obviously hinting to their connection.
"I don't understand what are you trying to imply Rob Lucci, but it's time for you to go otherwise I'll get serious." Said Kuma as he teleported out of his bindings.
"Sure you don't, do you think I'm stupid? Stop right now, or I'll have to send to the W. G. a message I really don't want to send about your true affiliation." Replied Lucci in a serious manner.
Kuma went still for a while not knowing how to respond to his threat, but as he was about to respond Lucci took the lead and started to speak.
" You may still be worried that we are going to do something to that brat, but I assure you we are not, at least for now, as my goal is to form an alliance with him for a commune goal. Also, I would like for you to send something to your real boss from me." Said Lucci as he assured Kuma.
"What do you want me to send?" Asked Kuma not beating around the bush any longer.
"A gift, consider this our way of getting back at W. G. for their actions against us, I assure you that he will be quite happy with your findings." Said Lucci as he passed a document that details everything Lucci knows for sure about W. G. and its high level management.
Things such as information about Imu and her real origin, the truth about the void throne, and even Lucci's own theory about her being the owner of one of the other god fruits. Specifically, the forest god which he theorized has the ability to use the power of all other devil fruits outside the god level ones. Using some sort of energy she absorbed by making others suffer in a similar manner, Lucci is hording lifespan from others.
He even included in information about Shanks celestial heritage with him being the son of some high level celestial family that is in charge of commanding the Divine Knights also adding some brief introduction about them and their purpose. And finally ended with the introduction of Vegapunk weapons, from Pacifista to the Seraphim and all the way to the so called Mother Flame.
"Make sure he is the only one to see it!" Added Lucci in a serious manner.
Not adding another sentence, he made the document fly towards Dragon location, disappearing in the distance. This simple gift was bound to bring drastic changes in the Revolutionary Army, maybe even allow them to make a plan to better deal with W.G. bringing them endless problems. All of which means they will have less time to cause trouble for Lucci and his crew.
After this brief conversation between Kuma and Lucci the ship went back to its usual atmosphere as Kuma left them be and had gone in his merry way to become a full souless robot.
Meanwhile, as this conversation between the two come to an end on the other side of the island, Chopper was currently in the process of checking everyone while they were resting. Even after their hard fight, all were still awake, the only exception being Zoro.
And as they did, Vivi was telling them her reason for being here, about what Lucci has shared with her and the king about their family past and how it's affected their country. Then proceed to tell them what she has gone through while sailing with the Blood Moon pirates and what she has learned about what happen to CP9 agents that lead to them becoming a pirates. And how they helped her, with the intention to make some trouble for W. G. She ended her story by hesitantly asking permission from Luffy to join them. Which he happily agreed, asking for a party to celebrate the victory against Moria, the return of Vivi and finally the addition of Brook. But was stopped by Nami who said that Lucci wants to make them a deal and has some information about Ace which he hinted to them being very important. However, Luffy still decided to hold the party first, as he insisted that Ace has his own journey and does not need him to intervene in it.
The fallowing events happen as they did in the series, the only difference being the addition of Vivi and Karoo in the mix. They celebrated for a whole day, only leaving for Sunny in the morning of the next day.
The Straw Hats have finally return to the docks, where the Blood Moons were still waiting as a small army of two-hundredth to three-hundredth Blood Knights were carrying some supplies on the board of their ship while also doing some maintenance and all around preparing the boat for the journey to Sabaody Archipelago.
Their strange sight didn't faze Luffy's crew, as Vivi has already explained about Lucci's new fruit, warning them about its dangers.
"Oyee, pigeon guy, where are you!" Called Luffy in a very distinct manner.
In return, what greeted them was a wave of Conqueror Haki, used in tandem with Blood Paralysis which brought them to an abrupt halt as the Knights made way and kneeled down for Lucci and his crew to pass, arriving right in front of Luffy.
"We meet again, brat, but it seems that his time it would be my win if we fight, don't you think?" Said Lucci while wearing a smirk on his face.
The Straw Hats who were currently under the pressure of haki could feel they had no chance to beat the current Lucci some of them even tilting their head downwards due to the pressure, but Luffy refused to give in as his will is not allowing him to do so, he rose his head and stared straight into Lucci's eyes unconsciously releasing a wave of Conqueror Haki for the first time to stop Lucci's.
'Eh? He awakened his haki a bit earlier then he did in the story, but mine is a lot stronger than his untried haki!'
The confrontation was over as both sides stopped after the conqueror clash ended, but a serious air started to take its place as the two pirate crews were facing each other.
"That's more like it, brat, that's the look you should have when facing a future rival! I take it that the princess told you about your friend being in danger but since you did not rush here you either think I'm joking or that he will be fine, I hate to be the one breaking you out of your fantasy, but it's not that simple your friend got himself caught by the marines, and they have already announced the date of his execution!" Said Lucci as he throws him a newspaper detailing the news of his capture.
This shocked Luffy, not expecting things to be so serious at all. A strange sense of urgency took ever him however as he was ready to tell his crew his decision, Lucci once again started to talk, drawing his attention to him.
"If you want to save him, I think I might have a way for you to succeed and that is for us to work together, so I'd like to offer you a temporary alliance!"
"ALLIANCE!?" Asked the Straw Hats, quite shocked by the offer.
