7 Chapter 6 - The Blood Fang Pirates(2) and Aftermath

Skylar was panicking. This isn't how it was supposed to go. The old man was not here. All they had to do was loot the place, catch a few slaves and leave.

'This fucking demon!' Skylar gritted this teeth and glared at Raiden who was looking at him with a hateful stare.

'How dare he look down on me. I was supposed to be a supernova. How dare a mere brat make a mockery out of me!'

"Huhuhu. You little fucker. I'll show the strength of Rabid Dog Skylar. I'll cripple you then make you watch as I torture every villager one by one. YOU LITTLE BASTARD!!"

Raiden, who just awakened his conqueror's haki had no real control over it. The initial burst kocked out most pirates but failed to do the same to Skylar.

As for Skylar there was a reason he had a high Bounty. His trump card.

Raiden watched as Skylar's already massive 2 metres frame increased in height. He grew to a height of 3.5 metres, had massive muscles, pitch black claws and long wolfish snot. He was covered in a blood red fur.

Raiden's eyes widened. This situation just became significantly more dangerous. Skylar was a devil fruit user and in East Blue they were almost invincible.

"...observe."

Raiden's eyes widened in horror as he looked at those stats.

"Shi..!" Before he could say anything, Skylar moved.

Raiden could barely see him move. He was lucky Skylar punched him instead of using his claw otherwise he would've been ripped in half.

Even then, the puch was extremely damaging.

*Cough* Raiden pucked mouthful of blood.

With shaking legs he got up on his feets.

Skylar walked towards Raiden with a smug look. He enjoyed breaking people. And he would love to do the same to this brat. Raiden killed off so many of his crewmates. He'll take his sweet time with the boy.

"Huhuhu. Boy where is that bravado from before. Come on, get up it's only getting started. Huhu"

Raiden suddenly had an idea.

Skylar saw the boy waving his hand in air and was confused. 'Has he gone mad? What is he doing?'

Raiden suddenly smiled.

"[Blink strike]." Raiden whispered.

Raiden's stats skyrocketed. Strength being at 45 and agility at 75.

But instead of attacking Skylar...Raiden started running.

Skylar seeing he running away, was furious.

"Get back here brat!!" He started chasing Raiden.

Raiden, who looked back and saw Skylar following him, smirked.

He started running, not at his top speed but, at a pace where Skylar thinks he can catch him, but he actually can't.

It took him barely 30 seconds to reach the place that was the final part of his plan.

A fishing platform.

Raiden ran and stood at the end of wooden platform. Skylar in his rage didn't even check his surroundings.

Raiden stopped running and turned around to face Skylar.

"You weasel! Stop running and face your punishment little boy! Huhuhu!!" Skylar was beyond pissed at this point. After the initial strike the kid became faster somehow, but instead of fighting Skylar, he just ran away. Well too bad Skylar wasn't going to let him get away that easily.

"You stupid dog, let me show you why you need a clear head in battle..." With that Raiden vanished from his place.

Skylar's eyes bulged. 'Where is that brat..'

"...right here." Someone whispered in his right ear. Before he could react he felt a hand clutch his face and ram it down hard on the wooden fishing platform.

The platform collapsed under the extreme force. It was during their downward movement, that Skylar realised what Raiden's plan was and all he could do was looking at the smirking face of Raiden in horror.

*Splash*

*Thud*

As soon as Skylar touched the sea water, his movements froze.

The water was shallow but that didn't matter. Skylar felt someone put their foot on in head and pressing it down on the sea floor. He wanted to flail, but he couldn't move!

He heard someone saying something above him but he didn't understand a word. He was drowning and he knew was going to die.

"Man [Blink Strike] is such a cheat. Ah anyway, you stupid mutt, you didn't even realise my plan even after I brought you so close to the shore huh ? You pirates are fucking stupid."

"*Sigh* Anyway is should go and check grandma and Bob. Oi! I enjoyed the fight, Rabid Dog Skylar, farewell!" He pulled out his daggers and jammed them in Skylar's chest for good measure.

You never know how long madmen in this world can hold their breath.

Raiden was happy with results. He gained a level and a good trait. Considering most of his future fights will be against pirates and marines. He now has a good stat buff covering at least one of those.

He hurried back to the village. He didn't want to imagine what would happen if the pirates that were knocked down, regained their consciousness.

'Looks like they got it covered.' Rock was back in the village with a marine warship and his colleagues. They took care of things here.

Rock was frantically checking Mary making sure she was alright. While Mary was blushing, something Raiden never thought he'd see.

Bob was taken care of by a beautiful marine woman. Raiden just hoped Bob wouldn't die of nosebleed.

While he was examining things, a strong pair of arms picked him up and hugged him. It was Rock.

"Raiden my boy!! Are you alright!? Are you hurt anywhere!?"

"Ugh grandpa...I'm fine, please let me go"

Rock reluctantly put Raiden back on his feet and started checking him all over for injuries. Once he was satisfied he tone became stern.

"Raiden, where is Skylar?"

"Huh? Oh you mean the captain? I killed him."

"..."

"..."

"Raiden...say that again."

"I killed him grandpa. You know what, come with me, I'll show you."

Raiden pulled a stunned Rock with him to now destroyed fishish platform and there in the shallow waters was Skylar, dead.

Rock was stunned. He didn't know what to say at this point.

"Well I'll be damned. You brat actually killed a pirate that strong huh. Bwahahaha"

Raiden and Rock turned towards the gruff voice.

Raiden knew that laugh and was even more stunned to see the behemoth of a man.

Both Rock and Raiden exclaimed at the same time.

"Vice Admiral Garp!"
