1 The Beginning Kent part 1

was born inside the New World, his family were a bunch of shipwrights. During his childhood Kent was interested in his own body and ways of making it stronger. With approval of both of his parents Kent was made into a cyborg. Through out his childhood he liked to help out his family with building ships and the sorts. His uncle was a pirate, and a famous one at that he sometimes visits for a repair on his ship, Kent enjoys spending time with him whenever he's there. Kent listens to all his uncle's stories, he enjoys them a lot and Sometime in the future whilst Kent was helping his old man, the newscoos came...Kent usually doesn't read the news, thinks it's boring... This one caught his eye as it had the head line... "Famous Pirate Frank Noak sentenced to execution at XXXX/XX/XX. Kent was in shock. He rushed to his parents with the news paper in hand. 

-"MOM, DAD! Unc! He's...He's been caught!"

Silence was in the room...his parents looked over to Kent

"We know sweetie..." His mom said

"What?" Kent was confused

"On his last visit here..." His father paused

"He told us he'll go on his final voyage...he was going to turn himself in...I tried to stop him-"

"SO WHY DIDN'T YOU?" Kent cut his father off

"...It wasn't my choice Kent. He made up his mind. As his brother, I respected his choice."

Kent was baffled, frustrated he ran up to the attic. Back sometimes ago his uncle gave him a fruit, Kent never ate it as he believed it to be a devil fruit. He didn't think he would ever need such a thing. He quickly pocketed it and rushed downstairs. He looked his parents in the eyes.

"I'm going- you can't stop me. You respected his decision now you're going to respect mine!"

Kent rushed out the door to the docks. He took one of his passion project ship, whatever was the strongest. Which happened to be The Sailing Hope. The destination- the execution site... Kent was determined to rescue his uncle, even if he did it for a good reason. Sitting by wasn't an option. Determined he took the fruit he had in his hands and bit into it. Gagging at the taste... he gulps as it goes down his throat. Kent wasn't aware of the fruits capabilities just yet- he did feel like there was a way for him to turn into something...but fearing the ship might get destroyed in doing so Kent refrained from using it just yet. He began sailing..his home island began disappearing due to the distance...Two days before the execution
