Chapter 5: A Fight Begins, And Bang's Training Begins

He enters as the fight with Valerie and the bear is about to begin in the other room where Kong left before the Valerie fight began, closing the door behind him as the room was a kitchen, and sees someone by the stove.

Someone turns around and turns out to be Bobo. He does some hand motions that look like hand signs as he says, "So how did it go?" Kong signs, "She is strong; look at my face," as he points at his face, and Bobo chuckles at him, then signs, "Go get yourself patched up and watch how she is doing against Barrett." Kong grunts in response as he walks away to another room that is connected to the kitchen. Leave Bobo in the kitchen. A tea kettle is ready in front of you, making a whistling sound.

He grabs the cup and brings it close before grabbing the handle and pouring the hot water into the cup. He then takes a jar of green powder and pours a spoon into it, stirs it to mix, and places the cup on trays.

He carries the tray with one hand as he walks to a dumbwaiter that is near him. As he enters, he pulls a small lever as the elevator slowly ascends, and he waits for a moment before stepping out with the tray and walking to the balcony with a view of the courtyard, where Bang is sitting and watching the fight and walking up beside him.

as he places the tray on the floor and takes a seat beside Bang's left side, and as Bang looks beside him, he sees Bobo. "Oh, Bobo, good, you made it seem that she defeated the trouble Quintuplets monkeys; you should've seen them; it was quite hilarious." Bang and Bobo chuckle, "Well! if any of you want to fight me! then come on down!"

They heard her say as she looked around, "Well, I guess it's Barrett's turn." Bang says to Bobo as he nods, and then Bang turns slightly up as he nods to a monkey who is on the roof with a giant bell. As the monkey responds with nods, he then rings the bell with his staff, which rings once to start the new battle.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

'Ohhh, shit,' I thought as I looked at the massive beat in front of me. This is going to be a challenge because it's a massive bear that has durability and strength, which is the problem for me, but I do have the same, and I don't know how this one learned haki, or more specifically, armament hardening, which the bear has all over his body and will be more difficult.

I can tell this isn't going to be easy, especially since it's even tougher to hit and damage. All I can tell is that this is going to be a challenge for me, but like someone said, challenge yourself; it's the only path that leads to growth, so I'll accept this challenge.

As the bear and I continue to stare at each other, the bear rears up to attack me and charges at me. As we clash and get into a bodylock position, both of us grip each other. I used this to attack now, gripping his arm with my left arm and punching him in the side with my armament right arm, after which the bear let go and lunged to bite my left arm; fortunately, it was covered in armament, or my arm would have been gone. I had strength within me as I hurled the bear back, leaving a huge bite mark on my arm and drawing blood, but I'm not affected by it. I've been bitten and hit a bunch of times during my training with animals, so it doesn't matter.

I huffed as I stared at the bear. The bear abruptly raised his arm, then slammed it down with full force, creating a strong wind pressure as I was pushed back with my arm raised to protect my eye from small pebbles. Suddenly, I sensed the bear coming to throw a punch at me. I was a bit slow to react to it as I got punched in the face, and the bear charged forward and then tackled me toward a wall. The bear then brought his head down on my shoulder and bit me. I screamed in agony as I punched and elbowed the bear's head to get it to let go, and then repeated with a final full-power punch as the bear let go of my shoulder, leaving an even bigger bite mark.

"That fucking hurt," I said, gritting my teeth in pain and clutching my shoulder as I bled. I'm not doing any damage to this bear. I need a weapon to damage and defeat the bear; my fist isn't doing anything, even though I'm using armament, so I recall the weapon rack that was behind me, so as soon as the bear was stunned from my last punch, I ran towards the weapon rack and reached through what was inside. As I can hear the bear recovering, it is now running toward me. As the bear approaches, my gaze is drawn to a three-section staff connection with three rings in between the weapon's joins. The metal that connects the chains to each staff is decorated with a flame-like pattern near the ends.

quickly grab the three-section staff as I hear the bear. I swing the staff quickly, and unconsciously, I imbue the three-section staff with armament as I strike the bear, sending it flying toward the wall. I huffed; maintaining armament on a weapon is different because I primarily train my arms and body by imbuing it with armament at least on my body. I then hear movement as I see the bear walking out of the hole he came from. As he walks out, he wobbles a little as the bear glares at me, then spits out a little blood from his mouth.

The bear notices a large wood log beside him and crouchingly picks it up, which he later holds up to his shoulder. Now that we're both armed to the teeth and ready to fight, the bear makes the first move by charging at me, then leaping into the air and swinging downward. I was fortunate enough to dodge to the side, causing a large impact on the ground and smoke dust that I couldn't see, but I could feel the bear about to swing at my head as I dove down, and I then leapt toward him, to which the bear attempted to swing downwards, but I dodged by sliding and skidding underneath the bear.

I spun the staff behind the bear, hitting behind its knee as the bear fell on one knee. I then flipped him over my shoulder by putting the staff over his head with all my strength, then I spun myself and did a roundhouse kick, sending the bear flying and landing on the ground, creating a big impact on the floor, which then ran toward the bear, whose body is laying on the ground, and I then spun the staff, and then I imbued the staff with armament making it into a bo staff.

Then I leap into the air and swing downwards toward the bear, but the bear quickly grabs the wooden log and uses it as a shield. As we collided, the wooden log didn't break, which means the bear imbued the wooden log with armament. We're pushing each other now, but with him on the ground and me on top of him, I have a slight advantage because I'm putting more strength into the staff, which the bear is losing, but the bear was smart because he tried to headbutt me because I was so close to him, but I pulled back, and the bear used this moment as an attack, lowering his weapons slightly and quickly biting down the staff that I was holding onto, and then he leans his head back with full strength.

which sent me flying towards a wall, my body clinging to the wall like a starfish as my vision was upside down, and I saw the bear getting up slowly from the ground. I let out an "ugh," and my body slips off the wall, and I land with my head as I am still upside down looking. I'm doing a handstand with my head on the ground. I looked down at the staff to see if it was damaged, and of course, the middle of the staff had been broken off, leaving me with sticks, or batons, as you prefer. I pick myself up from the ground, dusting myself quickly while looking at the bear, who is on his feet and looking down at the slightly broken wooden log that he tosses to the side.

Now he just looks at me with rage in his eyes. This is getting nowhere. I've got to defeat him with speed and strength, but I don't have strength like the bear, who has a huge amount of durability. I looked down at the batons in my hand. These should have an effect on the bear, making it easier for me to imbue them with armament, and I've seen plenty of movies and YouTube videos involving double-stick fighting, so I at least know how to use these, but I'll try practicing with them later. Right now, I've got a bigger problem to deal with.

now ready to face the bear again. I turned to face it before slowly approaching the bear while twirling the sticks between my fingers. The bear sees me walking toward him, and then he starts to walk but then quickens his pace, then changes to full-on running at me. I started to run at him as well, and we charged at each other. As we got close, the bear raised his paws, forming fists, and as I sensed armament on them, it threw its paw at my head, trying to crush it, but I leapt up in the air, then I quickly imbued the sticks with armament and swung them downward towards the bear's head.

which startled the bear for a second, but I took advantage of the opportunity to strike. I'm not giving the bear a chance, so after landing on my feet, twirling the sticks between my fingers, and then tightly gasping them, I slammed into its stomach with full force, causing the bear to gasp for air. Then I leaped into the air and whacked him in the face again, and then I hit him around the body like it was a drum set. From behind him, I hit the back of his knees, and he fell on his knees. Then I appeared in front of the bear with speed, and I started to do a strike combo against his head a bunch of times like I was playing whac-a-mole.

The bear has started to bleed from its head; it is time for it to end. I then throw the sticks towards the ground, which then ricochet towards the bear's face. I then leaped into the air, grabbed the bear's head, and slammed my knee into its face, which made a loud cracking noise. I then put my hands on the sides of the bear's head and began headbutting it, causing a lot of blood to spill from the bear's nose. More blood may spill with a final headbutt, and its face may crack even louder. I then let go of the bear's head and jumped off the bear as his body started to fall. I then apply armament to my foot and do a roundhouse kick, but I'm not done yet. Then, as he was about to fall, I did a left hook and a right hook, repeatedly applying armament to them.

Then I give it an axe kick to the chin, and finally I stop to see if that did it. When I looked up, I saw the bear with wide eyes, his eyelids rolling back, and nothing coming out now that he was fully unconscious, and he began to fall face first towards the ground with a heavy, loud thud that left me panting and with a bloodied knuckle and a huge bite mark on my injured arm. Letting out a breath of relief, I said, "Finally that's done!" I turned to see and sense if anyone was coming, but none was, and I then took a deep breath and breathed out. "Well, what now?" I said to the crowd of animals that were on the roof looking down on me and who were either shocked or scared, maybe because of me beating the bear, who was probably the strongest.

A loud bell rings, possibly signaling the end of the match. I heard a flapping noise. I looked up to see a crow flying above me, then it suddenly made a caw sound to get my attention. "Uh, what do you want?" I asked the crow, perplexed. The crow comes up and tries to pull me away with its claws. "Um, you want me to follow you?" The crow makes a noise. "All right," I said to the crow as the bird pulled me—well, it tried, but I just followed—and now we're heading towards the long stairs that I was about to take but was stopped by the fight between the monkey and the bear. Let's see what awaits me up there; maybe I'll meet the person in charge of this place or the master I keep hearing about from the four-armed gorilla.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Meanwhile, Bang and Bobo on the balcony were watching Valerie fight Barrett. Bang then spoke as he watched Valerie leave with the crow. "Well, that was interesting, don't you think, Bebo?" He asks the chimp next to him, who just shrugs and doesn't really care: "Well, I'll go on to greet them; do you mind taking care of Barrett's injuries? I'm hoping that teaches him not to look down on his opponents." He says this to Bebo as he rises from the ground, who just nods, then leaves to check on Barrett, leaving Bang alone on the balcony. "I finally get to meet you, young one," he thinks to himself, then chuckles as he disappears instantly like the wind.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Now that I think about it, I don't think that the bear was one of the giant animals. I mean, that bear looked like a giant from my point of view, but that was too easy for me to defeat, so I just beat the shit out of the wrong bear. Oops." I said that as Crow and I continued walking up the stairs; we're almost there, and I started to wonder what's in store for me about halfway up. This so-called "master" the gorilla mentioned probably wants to teach me something, but the question is why this master doesn't know who I am, and why do they want to teach me if they don't know who I am? It doesn't make sense, but if it makes me stronger, then it's all good.

I pulled myself out of my thoughts and looked in front of me. There is a large Japanese house, or dojo, but it appears to be more of a home a little further away from me, as I'm standing in a courtyard similar to where I fought but a little smaller, with a garden on the left side filled with different flower types, and a large pond and small boulder rock almost like a mountain to the right filled with small fish and a cherry blossom tree, and everything in its surrounding area is covered in bamboo like a sort of wall.

As I keep on looking at everything around me, the crow lets go of my shirt as it flaps its wing and flies away towards where we met. "Uhh, hey, where are you going!?" I yelled at the bird, but it ignored me and flew away, disappearing. Now leave me here alone. "Perhaps I should go to the house; that's really all there is to it anyway, so let's g-" I get cut off as I'm suddenly hit from behind, sending me flying a few feet away as I roll on the ground, and suddenly I stop.

That fucking hurt so much, and I mean literally so much, but luckily my body is a bit resilient to such attacks; if it wasn't, I would've vomited the breakfast food I had within me, and I then got up from the floor with a bit of a struggle because I'm still a bit hurt to move, but I did it anyways. I then turned to see who attacked me, and I'm shocked to find out that it was Bang from one punch; it's exactly him with light blue eyes and tan skin. He has spikey white hair, thick white eyebrows, and a thick white mustache. He wears a long-sleeved black martial arts jumpsuit, light-colored pants, and Tai Chi slippers. Despite his advanced age, his body is lean and muscular, which is not surprising given that old people in the one-piece world are still jacked up.

"Well, well, I see now I finally get to meet you in person after all this time." The old man said so. He'd been watching me all this time, by which I mean my observation haki isn't the greatest to sense everything on an island scale, but it should've picked up on his presence, even a small amount, or my hearing, for that matter, even a slight move or sound around the forest where I was. "So you've been watching me the whole time; even that laugh was you." I stated that I was now standing up straight and looking at him with caution.

"Yes, I was there a few times, but not all the time; most of them were from friends who have been doing the work," the old man said to me. I keep on staring at him; what is his motive for all this just for me? "Why do you want to teach me? You don't know me, and I don't know you, so we were both strangers." I said to the old man as I started to walk around in a circle, and the old man did the same: "True, we may be strangers, but I know one thing: you want." The old man said, "What's that?" I said

"You want to get stronger, but my question is, why? You're just a child; you have all of the time and youthfulness ahead of you, so why start now?" The old man said as he looked at me with seriousness, waiting for my response, well, he's right. If Valerie had been here instead of me, she would have probably said something, and I can't avoid the question; he'll know I'm lying, so my only advice is talk no jutsu to this nonsense.

So here goes the random bullshit talk go! "To face the world and go on to explore the sea with adventure, and to do all that, I must become stronger. I must be prepared for anything; if I wait now, I'll be too weak to face whatever is thrown at me, and I want answers to know who I am and where I'm from, and I'm not just going to wait for a decade or another two for my answers to come to me, so that's why I want to become stronger!!" I yelled out to the old man, clenching my fist as it began drawing blood as I stopped walking.

An instant of silence falls upon us, and the only thing we can hear is wind. Suddenly, I heard the old man try to cover up a laugh, but it slipped out of his mouth. "Wahaha!" he laughed, tears streaming down his cheeks. I just looked perplexed as to why, but I hope it just worked to convince him anyways. But how much strength will I get from him? Judging from his outfit, martial arts is one of them, but what was he like before—a pirate marine or some sort of legendary fighter in the past?

The old man stopped laughing. "I see well in any case," said the old man suddenly standing in front of me as he kneed me in the gut. I tried to fight back, but he didn't let me. He delivered an uppercut to my chin, and as I was about to fall back, he grabbed me by my shirt and then threw a punch combo everywhere on my body; each of its impacts felt like an explosion, and as his hand moved, I saw a sort of aura, like resembling a wave in water, almost like the Fist of Flowing Water Crushing Rock I felt darkness take me over as my eyes closed, but with one last glance, I saw the one man hovering over me, saying something to me, but my ears were ringing as I didn't hear him, and then my vision turned black as I blacked out.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Oh, I remember now, and I also remember why THE HELL BEAT ME UP SO BADLY!!!" I yelled at Bang, "I also have a question: WHY THE HELL DID YOU EAT EVERYTHING!!!" Bang yelled angrily in my face, "YOU TOLD ME TO EAT, DAMN IT YOU OLD MAN!!" I yelled in my face as we headbutted each other, "WHO ARE YOU CALLING OLD MAN, YOU LITTLE GIRL!!" He yelled back. "HUUH, WHO ARE YOU CALLIN' LITTLE GIRL, OLD MAN?!!" I lunged at him as we both rolled around on the floor. I then pulled his face apart. "THAT HURTS YOU LITTLE BART!!" he yelled, grabbing my hair and pulling it back. I slapped his face, and he let go of my hair, then slapped me, which surprised me, so I glared at him, then slapped again, and he slapped back, and we went each for a while, pulling, slapping, and poking each other.

We were now panting on the floor, leaving the room in shambles, with broken plates everywhere and a slew of holes in the walls. "Can I ask something?" I asked Bang, "Hm, what is it?" Bang asked, "What did you say when I blacked out?" as I stared at the ceiling, waiting for him to answer. "All I said was I'll be glad to have you as my student, but be warned, these lessons aren't going to be easy. You could possibly die, and there's no giving up; I'll push every potential within you to be awake, so I'll ask you once more: are you ready to go on to this path?" He said seriously, so this is my training moment; this is where I will become strong to face the world; everything I need is here, so with that, I responded, "Hell yeah!" as I smiled. Bang, then chuckled. "Well, let's get started; shall we begin?" My training starts now.

[AUTHOR NOTE]

OK, hello everyone. I hope you're having a good evening or whatever. I will like to say I'm sorry I haven't posted anything. I'm not trying to do the same thing as last time. I'm doing my best to type every chapter, but I have school and a lot of homework to do, and I just started a new semester, so I'll post as soon as I can if I have time, and I'm sorry if the fight action was boring; it was my first time writing fight scenes like this, but there will be better fights coming up, so in the meantime, keep reading, and I'll see you in the next chapter. bye
