2 Chapter: 2 Survival And Start Of Training

I found myself staring up at a clear blue sky and hearing the sound of the ocean in my ears. I took a few moments to process everything, and once I did, I sat up, but the moment after I did so, I immediately fell to my knees, moving my hands to the side of my head since a massive headache hit from out of nowhere.

However, as quickly as the headache started, it was over. Once it was, I found new information inside my head, and it is a big problem.

First, I don't know my new name; I only know my first name, which is Valerie.

Second, I am a girl well, so this is what God meant of I might be born different.

Move on, that motherfucker.

Third, I am five years old, which I think is great since I really didn't want to start life over as a baby again.

That's about it; apparently Valerie had some sort of memory loss before arriving here on the island. I don't know how, but I'll worry about it later.

She's been here since the morning and went out in search of assistance, food, and water. Later that night, however, she comes face to face with a large wolf when she comes across a cave that happens to be the wolf's home.

She then ran as fast as she could because she had scratched her back, causing a large wound. Later, she ended up in the same area where she had arrived.

Then she went insane like Tanya, and this is exactly what happened in The Saga of Tanya the Evil, except without the magic and without World War II. She then killed a wolf with the pure strength of hers and the madness within her.

And both Her Conqueror and Armament Haki have awoken at such an early stage. I had just arrived but had not complied. This is the power of plot amor, and I'll take it.

Now that it's out of the way, I'm hungry and thirsty. It's time for me to go hunting.

Fortunately for me, I've gone hunting with my father before and watched survival videos. First and foremost, locate water, which can be found in rivers or lakes.

I take a moment to check my surroundings for any signs of danger, seeing as the coast seems to be clear with no sign of any threats or any footprints in the dirt other than the ones I left behind and the wolf yesterday.

As I walk to the sounds of running water, I turn in the direction of the jungle forest near the beach.

How do I know there is water running where I am going because I think I have enhanced hearing? But I am certain that I can hear everything around me, including birds and wild animals that are far away from me.

But as I walked, I came to a halt. I wanted to test something, so I went towards the large rock border near me. Stop right in front of the large rock border.

I tighten my grip on my fist. I close my eyes and exhale deeply. I pull my fist back and then punch the border with full strength. The border was then smashed into a small piece, and I turned to walk directly in front of the tree, my hands on the tree's side. As I lifted the tree with no effort, it weighed nothing.

huh? I guess I have enhanced strength. The reason why I did this was because I wanted to test if my strength was my own or from the crazy, wild Berserk stage. I guess it's true.

Now it's time for my next speed and stamina test.

I then faced the direction of the waterfall, and I took a small stretch as I heard my bones crack. I crouched after that. as I put my hands on my feet, then, with no sounds, I ran the fastest I could as I left a dust cloud behind.

I ran and ran without stopping. It appears that both my speed and stamina are enhanced. And wow, it feels amazing to have the wind on my skin. As I continue running, I hear movement on my right and take a small glance.

I see a pronghorn. It is currently moving at the same pace as I am. Try not to back away from each other as we both look at each other. This is a sign of a small challenge.

I'll take it. I want to see if I'm faster than Pronghorn. They are capable of maintaining a speed of nearly 35 miles per hour over several miles and are even faster over shorter distances.

We then ran, and the more we ran, the closer I could see the waterfall, which is the finish line. I won the race by jumping in the lake as I got closer to the waterfall. pulling myself out of the water as I looked at Pronghorn, who had his head down in defeat. then looks at me, gives a small nod, and walks away from the lake.

I sighed and relaxed in the water. I'm floating in the water, looking at the clear blue sky as I enjoy this.

I can't believe I'm in this one-piece world, a world full of mysteries, adventure, and undiscovered secrets.

Since I already know what I want to do with my new life, I'll become a pirate. I want to travel the world and go on adventures without anyone telling me what to do or how to do it. However, most importantly, I really don't have an end goal besides traveling and maybe fighting, which I know is going to happen every time.

I mean, I could find the one piece, but it's a bit cliche since everyone is going to look for it, particularly a certain straw-hat pirate. Not only must I deal with the pirates but also with other formidable foes. like the Marines, warlords, and emperors.

More specifically, Big Mom and Kaidou are both monsters in human skin; maybe I am one considering what I did to the poor wolf. I didn't even give the wolf a fighting chance.

Just thinking about fighting them sends a bit of a shiver across my entire body, but it also brings a smile to my face. I'm just so excited right now that I can barely contain myself.

"Right, I just have to survive; that's all I can think about. Maybe I can find a boat or something to get off this island. I'll do a bit of training on Haki since I unlocked it, but first." I spoke

*Grrr*

"I've got to find food first; I'm starving to death." As I exited the lake, I jumped onto the lake's edge. If there is no one around, I will remove my clothes to remove the blood from them. After I finished squeezing the water and all of the blood out, I put my clothes back on; they were a little uncomfortable, but I got used to dealing with it. Maybe I'll find clothes somewhere.

You know, I haven't seen what I look like. I then walk up to the edge of the lake to see my reflection in the water. I saw myself there; my hair is black, chin length, and messy. I had pale skin. I had heterochromia in my eyes. My right eye is gray, while my left eye is golden. and I have a large scar on the right side of my head; I think this is the cause of Valerie's memory loss. I'll worry about it later.

[Use your imagination. I couldn't find any pictures, but for growing up, yes, so for now, deal with it.]

[scar reference]

After I decided to go hunting for food, maybe for a boar or something else that satisfied me, of course, I kept my guard up and tried to be as alert as I could to react as quickly as possible to any unforeseen situation.

My march continued peacefully for what seemed to be half an hour, give or take a couple of minutes. I kneel with one knee and run my hands through the tracks to the leaves covering some of the tracks after a quick glance around to ensure I won't be ambushed by a jungle creature while investigating said tracks.

I notice lots of animal tracks; they seem to be fresh too, which is a good sign because animal tracks mean animals, and animals mean protein, which is more important because I'm hungry.

suddenly hear dry crunching sounds coming from behind me. Only one animal is there; nothing else is nearby. My mind reacted as I turned around while standing up as fast as I could without losing my balance. I do a backflip and jump as high as I can, landing on top of a tree.

A loud crash happens as I jump off the tree and land gracefully. I took a look around to see what I was up against, only to find a large, brown, furry body at least twice my size. The creature shook its head and turned around to face me. I am now getting a good look at what it is, which turned out to be some overgrown tusked boar.

Seriously, why is every creature in one piece so massive, as if they eat so much?

Anyway, back to work: its furry face is adorned with a pair of fierce red eyes that promise bloody murder. and I have a problem. I don't have anything on me to kill this boar, and I can't just punch it like freaky Saitama, nor can I use the Conqueror's Haki yet; I haven't practiced. I take a quick look around for something useful, and then I see a dead skeleton with a katana in its hand.

I take a quick step to the side, keeping my gaze fixed on the boar, and grab the katana, gasping that it didn't work. I then put my foot on its arm, pulling it out as I snapped the bone from its body and shook off the skeleton hand on the katana as it fell to the side.

I'm sorry, but I'm not sorry.

I twirl the katana in my hands, picking up any loose dirt. I do a few swings to see if it works, but it's just a plain katana, nothing special, and I don't feel anything or a boost of power.

But once I had the katana in my hand, I felt a jolt in my body, and I suddenly felt that I knew how to use it properly. I had never once practiced using a sword or any sort of weapon class in my old life; I only did kickboxing and a little bit of jujutsu and taekwondo, nothing else. But maybe Valerie knew how to use a katana before she lost her memory.

I'll deal with it later. I have to take care of a boar that is attempting to kill me. I then take a Katana stance, with my left leg back and my right leg forward, Katana pointing at the boar.

taking another look at the two-meter-tall boar's body as it thrashes its hind legs in place, sending a pile of dirt flying behind it and snorting a breath of air strong enough to send fallen tree leaves as far as a full meter in front of it flying.

I then feel my face start to grin, stretching even wider across my face as I then feel my heart beating out of my body while trying to calm it down.

Why is my heart beating so hard?

as I keep my eyes on the boar. Our staring contest continues as the leaves that its breath sent flying finally begin to fall, and as the last leaf hits the ground, we both take it as a sign to charge towards each other.

It squeals, putting its sharp set of teeth that no boar has any business having on full display, and lowers its head while charging towards me, making its intention to skewer me with its tusks blindingly obvious. I lower my stance, bringing my katana to my lower left side, and begin my own charge.

As we got closer, our eyes locked on each other until we were within striking distance, at which point I paused my charge and dove beneath its tusks. I took a step to the right, barely avoiding its gleaming white tusks, and then leapt to my feet, swinging my sword downward, leaving a deep slash on its right-side body.

It huffs, then swings its white tusks again, and then I do a cartwheel to the left and leap forward, putting me in perfect position to strike at its unprotected throat by simply raising my sword, which I do a course with, drawing a splash of blood and causing the boar to squeal and crash its nose first in the dirt ground right behind me.

My heart is racing as I turn around and watch it try to stand up, only to spasm and fall back to the ground. I easily walked up to the thrashing beast and swiftly plunged the blade of my sword through its head, ending its suffering.

The magnificent beast capable of smashing an average tree to smithereens simply by smashing into it appears to have finally dawned on me.

"I did this," I whisper to no one in particular as my heart finally seems to calm down, but still, what was that feeling and what caused my heart to go wild like that? I wonder as I try to recall the feeling; it wasn't fear or death; I know fear, and it felt similar to when I killed that wolf.

"Then it's excitement, so I guess I'm a battle maniac. I just hope I don't let this affect me later on, and I don't feel the least bit bad about killing. I guess I'll just have to live with it."

As a result of the strangely not so unpleasant conclusion, the wide grin that had stretched across my face throughout the fight finally faded, replaced by a faint smile.

Coming down from my battle high, I swing my sword to get rid of the blood lingering on its blade, but the blade snaps, leaving me with only the handle. I then let go of the handle. I then start to grab sticks to start a fire to cook this boar so I can eat. After finding the sticks, I looked to the side to see the dead skeleton with the sword, then walked toward it because I was right in front of it, then crouched to see if it had to start a fire because it had a satchel, and as I looked through the satchel, I found a lighter. I opened the lid and flicked it to see if it worked or not, and it did. I went back to start the fire and cook the boar.

While I waited for the boar to be cooked, I started making training plans for my stay on this island. This island is similar to Rusukaina, but not quite as far as my knowledge goes, and as Valerie Memories knows, this is a little smaller. but will provide me a good workout in combat and let me train my Haki. I can use the trees as weights and the animals as sparring partners to improve my observation. It is easier to use against animals because they always show their emotions and act on instinct, unlike humans, who are capable of deception.

I found food and water, so I won't die of starvation. So far, so good. There doesn't appear to be any civilization on the island; perhaps some are in the small mountains I saw. I'll work my way to the top of the mountain as a small goal.

When the boar had finished cooking, I started to eat while still planning my training. Every day, I get up and eat. then some exercise, then hunting while fighting any animals I'll encounter along the way with my Armament Haki, then training my observation Haki.

And finally, my conqueror's Haki That's my schedule of training for every day of the week. Just because I'm on an island all by myself doesn't mean I'm going to slack off; I've got to be prepared for anything. This training might seem pointless since I don't have a goal later once, I set sail on the sea, but this will help me to be strong and defend myself.

I was about to eat the last piece of the boar's meat. I then heard a noise behind me. I turned around to see a pack of wolves. I stood up and took a step back as I heard more footsteps all around me. I look around to see even more, all showing their fangs. I can feel their hatred in their eyes, all directed right at me. My observation is activated. I have some control over it, but now that they are here, I guess I'll get started on my training.

I begin to grin as the wolves encircle me, waiting to strike me. "You've come to exact revenge on your leader, Honestly, who was weak." As I said this, the wolves started to growl as I felt their hatred grow even more: "Heh, come and get me!" As the wolves began to prepare, I ripped apart my sleeve shirt to make blindfolds, then tied it around my eye.

Then I empty my mind and concentrate solely on what is around me. My thoughts and vision are completely blank. As I wait for one of them to attack, suddenly one of the wolves makes its first move by leaping towards me, and I duck under its body. Another wolf from behind me charged as it attempted to bite my left leg.

For now, all I'm doing is dodging and pushing them back with a simple palm thrust. Weaving dodge, weaving dodge, and weaving dodge had all taken a few short cuts here and there. This went on and on until it was night, and as I didn't hear the wolves moving or anything, I then took the blindfold off to see all of the wolves tired and panting clearly. I tried them all out. All the other wolves let out a huff as they got up to leave, but

"Hey!" I said, catching the wolves' attention. "I expect you to return and tell your friends to return as a reward for your efforts in killing me; you can have this cooked boar." The wolves all look at each other in some sort of agreement, and one of the wolves comes forward; I'm assuming it's the leader of the pack now since I did kill their leader.

The leader wolf comes to a halt directly in front of me. It then barks in agreement and raises its paw for me to shake. And that's exactly what I did: "Don't disappoint me, you, and your friends; help me, and I will help you and your friends by rewarding you all with food." As the other wolves' howl, the wolf barks in agreement, and more wolves howl in response.

Back on the same top of the mountain, there is the same elderly man, who is still sitting on the edge of the mountain but is meditating with legs crossed, hands together, and eyes closed. "Wahaha, it seems you are smart enough to understand Haki, which seems odd for your age. That's good because it means I won't have to spend as much time teaching you." The elderly man says

"We will see each other really soon. Just don't die on me, little one, wahaha!" the elderly say. while laughing as it echoes across the whole island.

Meanwhile, Valerie, who is sitting on a log while the wolves devour the boar, has been interrupted by echoed laughter. All across the island, Valerie raises her head to the sound as she looks at the top mountain.

'Was that laughter I just heard means that I'm not the only person on the island? Thank goodness; I was about to go insane just talking to animals.'

She focuses her gaze on the mountain. "I established my situation on the island now that I have a plan and a small goal," she says as she clenches her fist and starts to grin. "This is going to be fun and exciting. Dahaha" she says while laughing.

as her journey to become stronger begins.

[Author notes]

This is a critical message for all of you. Thank you, and I really mean thank you. Like, with 20,000 views on the first chapter in such a short period of time, how the fuck was I expecting that? Maybe in a month or two, but in five days, wow! Thank you; now let me proceed with my message. I decided to place a vote on this chapter, but I'm not going because I'm the author. What is this vote for? It's for doing a small rewrite on Chapter 1 because of the wishes I chose. I was in a hurry and realized these superpowers were out of place; I never thought about it, so thank luffy1996 for pointing out my mistake. Everything will remain the same, with the exception of the wishes, which will be changed tomorrow, and the chapter will be updated as well. There will be things I forget because I stopped watching One Piece for about 2 years, so yeah, I'm in the Dressrosa Arc, so I'm far behind, if you get what I mean, but thank you anyway; also, I don't have an upload schedule, so don't come and visit my account every time because I have school and I have to study and do homework. I'll post at a random time, and that's all. Thank you so much, and I'll see you in the next chapter.
