1 Chapter 1 Ascending the Throne

"You there hurry up with that, and you place that there..... are you a bunch of buffoons!?" A man in a suit screamed as he ran around a large banquet hall. This was the Royal Banquet of the Tigria Kingdom.

The Tigria Kingdom is an ancient Kingdom which has lasted for hundreds of years, and today was a very very special day for them, as today would be the Battle for the Throne, an ancient tradition in which the next King would be decided via a contest of strength and mind. But before that there was naturally a gigantic banquet so that the Princes would be well fed before their final battle.

"Eh, I hate this suit." A boy with black hair and clear black eyes moaned. Currently he was being dressed into a suit by 3 maids as he stared at the mirror in front of him. 'So today is the day.' He thought to himself as he was finally suited up.

This was Archelaus Tigra, or Arch for short. He was the 3rd Prince of the Tigrian Kingdom and genius like no other. In the vast history of the Tigrian Kingdom, no one like Arch had ever appeared before.

In reality though, he was simply a reincarnator from Earth, who like most, simply wanted to live the high life in the world of One Piece.

'This is such a pain, while others get systems, all I got was being a Prince.' He thought shaking his head in dismay. Soon he arrived at the Banquet Hall where everything had been set up. The guests had finally arrived and the food was prepared, now only the Princes and the King had yet to appear.

"Entering the 4th Prince, Aristophanes Tigra!"

"Entering the 2nd Prince, Apollo Tigra!"

"Entering the 3rd Prince Archelaus Tigra!"

It was announced one after the other as the princes each entered the banquet hall. Each of the princes had their own charm, as they entered the banquet hall.

Apollo was a tall gruff looking man with bulging muscles. He stood at 2.3 meters tall, with long black hair and a neat beard on his face. Every step he took seemed to shake the very ground on which he stood and he had a gigantic smile plastered on his face. The man was 23 years old this year yet his black eyes still darted around the room excitedly as if he was but a child.

Aristophanes on the other hand was a small child, standing at barely 1.3 meters tall, he had a head full of brown hair and a thin build. Unlike what one would expect of a 9 year old boy his expression was much more reserved, his brown eyes giving off a feeling as if his thoughts were somewhere else entirely.

Archelaus though, was similar yet different to both of his brothers. Standing at 1.8 meters tall, he held an imposing yet calming aura, as if he was a gentle breeze. Smiling lightly at all the guests he unhurriedly strode towards his seat displaying the mannerisms fit for the throne.

Finally each prince reached their seat, and then their was a final announcement.

"Entering the 37th King of Tigria, Andronicus Tigra!!"

Immediately everyone within the banquet hall stood up, including the princes as they all bowed lightly to the King. "Haha, be at ease all of you, today is a happy occasion after all." He said as he took his seat.

His tone was indeed that of a happy man, but everyone in the hall couldn't help but hear the slight commanding undertone he held as King. That was to be expected of course as Andronicus Tigra was a man who's name once shook the world back in his hay day.

After the King's entrance the banquet finally commenced as everyone began to enjoy the feast in front of them. "So how far have you gotten in that puzzle I gave you?" Arch asked as he looked towards Aristophanes.

"Eh, I am stumped to be honest, I don't know how to figure it out at all." He replied seemingly down cast. Aristophanes was one of the smarter ones out of his brothers, and noticing this Arch had given him many puzzles throughout the years.

"Don't be so sad 4th, just enjoy the food like your older brother right here." Apollo chimed in as he tore into the food in front him. Seeing this the King couldn't help but smile, he was happy his children got along so well.

The banquet continued at this leisurely pace, Apollo continued devouring his food, 4th was still stumped by the puzzle as he ate, and Arch made some small talk with the various guests who attended, like this the banquet came to a close.

After the guests were taken to an arena outside of the banquet hall while the princes left the hall so as to prepare for the coming battle.

Once outside the hall the 3 brothers immediately shared a look. "So how's this going to go down?" Arch asked as he gazed at them. "I'll be forfeiting, I can't even solve one of your puzzles, and there's no chance I can beat you in a fight." 4th said before wiping his hands as if cleansing himself of this matter.

(if you couldn't tell I'll be calling Aristophanes 4th since its probably easier to follow, and frankly I just like the feeling it gives)

"While I won't be forfeiting we all know the throne is as good as yours, I just want to have a good battle beforehand with the future King." Apollo laughed as he patted Arch on the back.

They then each entered their changing rooms, and Arch quickly took off his suit and put on his battle gear as he called it. His battle gear was imply a pair of black boots, with black trousers a shirt and a black coat on top of it.

After getting dressed Arch exited his room and made his way towards the arena. Walking through the halls Arch eventually exited the compound and walked along the path, orangey brown leaves littering the path.

The arena then came into view. It was massive at least 300 meters in radius, with the audience sat upon the tall bleachers as they gazed at the approaching princes.

Once the 3 princes gathered on top of the arena, the King gazed at them from the highest point on the bleachers. "Who wishes to fight for the throne of Tigria?" He questioned solemnly as locked eyes with each of his sons.

"I shall be forfeiting." 4th said before jumping towards the bleachers, his scholarly robes swaying in the wind. "Alright, so how will you two be competing? Via mind or power?" Andronicus continued.

"We shall be competing based on power." Arch replied, Apollo nodded hearing this, and thus the fight for the throne would be decided based on who was stronger.

Arch and Apollo then stood on opposite sides of the arena, and bowed to each other, the fight the began.

Immediately Apollo retrieved the large double bladed axe he had attached to his back, before charging at Arch swinging it with all his might. The sheer power behind the axe caused the air to hum as it hurtled towards his face.

As if blind to what was in front of him, Arch simply stood still as the axe passed through his figure, but alas that was simply an after image, as the image of Arch distorted he appeared at the other side of the arena completely unscathed.

On the other hand Apollo's eyes were blank a gigantic smile plastered on his face as he fell forward defeated. One move, one move was all it took for Arch to beat the 2nd Prince, a man who was dubbed as a Battle Maniac by many was felled in a single move.

The crowd then howled in awe. "Long live Archelaus Tigra the 38th King of Tigria!" They chanted as Arch simply smiled he would now finally be King.
