Chapter 5: Mission and Time Skip

After taking a bite of the Devil Fruit, Lucifer feels something that he cannot explain.

Lucifer takes a pineapple and lifts it in the air to try to use his Devil Fruit. After some moments, he uses the Devil Fruit's power, 'Space Lock'. He then lets go of the pineapple in the air, and the pineapple stays in the air, not dropping on the floor.

"Haha, it looks like this is really a good Devil Fruit, but I still don't have mastery over it. I need to train to master this Devil Fruit to utilize its full potential, but before that, I need to use the 'Sea Curse Remover Card' to let the weakness of Devil Fruit be removed." Lucifer laughed when he saw the pineapple staying in the air because he locked the space where the pineapple was so it could stay like that.

After that, he said that he needed to practice to utilize its full potential, and then he took the Sea Curse Remover Card and used it to remove the weakness of Devil Fruit.

"Now before I sleep, I need to test." After using the Sea Curse Remover, he walks toward the sea and tests if it's working. When he came to the seawater, he didn't feel any weakness.

"Haha, it looks like it is really working. Let's rest first and practice tomorrow." After getting the result of his test, Lucifer walks toward his hut and then rests for tomorrow's practice.

"*yawn*... Sigh, there is no coffee in the morning, too bad," a young man just woke up.

"Morning Aina." The young man is Lucifer Nightsky, and he greets his system spirit.

"Good morning too, and Lucifer, you have a mission." Aina greeted Lucifer and said that he has a mission.

"So I have a mission, huh? What did you say mission?" Lucifer is not in his mind because he just woke up, and after some moments, he realized that Aina had a mission that surprised him, so he asked Aina excitedly.

"Yes, do you want me to show it to you?" Aina told Lucifer that he has a mission and then asked him if he wanted to see the mission.

"Of course," Lucas said to Aina, and then an interface user can be seen floating in front of Lucifer that has some letter stating the mission information.

Lucifer is looking at the Mission section of the system and reading it carefully to not miss something.

After reading it carefully, he closed the system interface and was satisfied with the reward. He also asked Aina about one of the missions.

"Aina, why doesn't the 3rd mission have a conqueror?" Lucifer asked Aina what was bugging in his mind after seeing it.

"Because right now, we don't know if you have it, and even if you do, you couldn't train it because you still have not awakened it." Aina then explains to Lucifer why the conqueror Haki is not included in the third mission.

"I see. Let's start to train so I can finish the mission earlier." Lucifer then walks out to his hut and starts his training.

His plan is 5 hours of exercising his body, rest for about an hour, and 4 hours of haki training, 2 hours each for armament and observation haki, and after that, 3 hours of mastering the devil fruit.

He also added an hour of meditation to clear his mind and set a goal for himself.

He then followed this plan for over 5 months and got an enormous boost to his strength, speed, physique, and spiritual energy from J rank to E rank.

He also gains intermediate proficiency in armament and observation haki, and he gain an intermediate proficiency in his devil fruit too.

"Phew! I'm exhausted, hah!" A young man full of sweat said, slumping at the beach.

"My mission is almost done; I only need to rank up two more times, and all of my stats are going to be a B rank, and as for the proficient of haki and devil fruit, it's likely to be done any time; I only need about 2 months, and the proficient of haki and devil fruit will be an advanced stage," the young man said while resting at the shaded place on the beach.

The young man is Lucifer Nightsky, who is just resting after training his body.

"Lucifer, there is an approaching ship. It is a pirate ship." Aina reminds the resting Lucifer that there is a pirate approaching the island.

"I see. This is the first time I could interact with people except for the beast in the center area of the island," Lucifer said while standing up and looking at the vast ocean.

He saw a pirate ship, to be exact. He used his observation haki and saw that there were 10 people on the ship.

He also sees something horrible in the captain's room: a lifeless woman, naked and full of the white stuff that is likely to be semen.

Lucifer's eyes become cold because he remembers his past life, a tragic memory. His fiance committed suicide to not let her body be defiled.

"It looks like I'm going to kill some scum, huh?" Lucifer said, and he disappeared from his place.

Lucifer teleports and appears at the top of the pirate ship. He is standing in the air, locking the space in his feet.

He looks at the pirates, who are happily eating and drinking.
