Chapter 3: The Unlucky, Yet Lucky Lucifer Nightsky

a pill for a cultivator to not let them starve for about 1 month, but they can still eat if they want to eat.

"D*MN!" Lucifer cursed loudly when he got useful yet useless to him.

Yes, it is useful because he doesn't need to search for food, but useless because he was sure that he could find food after some days of searching, and if not, he goes to the sea and looks for some seafood shells that can be eaten. He dares not swim because he does not know if a sea beast is there.

"Reward is reward, better than nothing *crunch*," Lucas said, taking one of the fasting pills.

"Hmm, this is good. I thought it would be bland, but this is nice, huh?" Lucas says once he takes the fasting pills, he feels full and more energetic.

"Now let's look for a flat place so I can build shelter." Lucas starts to search for a flat place, and after a while, he has seen flat land.

"This spot surely is good, now... Right, I will start to look for some wood for the foundation, support, and some large leaves for the roof. I also need to find some dry wood for the fire at night to not let me get cold and let the insects go away from my place." Lucas makes a mental list of the things he needs for the hut he will make.

Several hours later, on the island called Trenton, Lucifer just finished building a hut where he is going to stay for some time before he sails through the vast ocean.

"Phew. This is so tiring. Tomorrow, I need to start practicing my body, or else I would become canon fodder here," Lucifer said to himself, looking at the calm sea. The place he built the hut is near the sea so he could see the beautiful ocean.

"So what am I going to do now? Stare at the sea or just sleep. Sigh. This is why I hate a place that has no entertainment." Lucifer lay on the bed made out of leaves and stared at the sky dazedly.

Unknowingly to Lucifer, his eyes started to close, and after some time, he fell asleep.

On Lucifer's'second day on the island called Tentron, the sun has already set.

"*yawn*... The pills are really incredible." Lucas woke up, and for some time he didn't feel hungry, yet he was full. He praised the pill for its amazing effect.

"Morning Aina," Lucifer greets Aina.

"Morning too, Lucifer," Aina also greets Lucifer.

"Let's start to exercise, and I guess I will try to exercise for about 5 hours straight with no rest, and after that, I will rest for about half an hour or one." Lucifer, before going to train, will stretch first to not let his body be surprised by the extreme exercise he will do.

Ten minutes later,

This will do; now let's run first." Then Lucifer started his exercise by running at full speed for an hour without stopping. Even though he felt pain in his legs, he did not stop.

After an hour of running, he starts to push up for about 45 minutes, and after that, he starts to side-by-side jump for 15 minutes.

After doing push-ups and side-by-side jumps, he takes the stone he had ready last night, which will be replaced as the lifting weight. The weight of the stone is about 60 lbs.

He starts to lift it slowly and slowly let it down. He then does this for about an hour.

After an hour, Lucifer finishes his lifting and does the other activity.

After two more hours, Lucifer is now lying in the sand, full of sweat and rough breathing from the extreme exercise he did earlier.

"D*mn, my whole body hurts. But I need to do this or else I will die pitifully from pirates, land beasts, or sea beasts," Lucifer looked at the bright sky and said to himself.

"Also, I'm tired. Sigh." Lucifer added, and he didn't know when he fell asleep.

Two hours later,

*yawn*

Lucifer woke up from his sleep.

"Aina, how many hours did I sleep?" Lucifer stood up, stretched some muscles, and asked Aina how many hours he had slept.

"It's about 2 hours, Lucifer," Aina said to Lucifer.

"I see... I still didn't feel hungry even though I exercised to the extreme; the pill is really impressive." Lucas, after stretching, did not feel hungry when he woke up. Normally,  people who exercise extremely will be hungry if they are finished, but to me, I'm not. He thinks that the reward that he got is surely incredible for people who only want to train.

"What should I do? I still have about 5 hours before night comes. I will exercise about 2 and a half more and then look around the island again for some dry wood, and if I'm lucky and I can find food, it's good for me." After Lucifer said it, he started to exercise, and from time to time he felt his strength rise.

He noted to himself that he would check his status later at night before sleeping because he was sure that after this training, his strength would surely rise more.

Two and a half hours later,

"Wooh!... I feel good; exercise is really good, even though I was like in hell earlier." After the training, Lucifer rested for a bit, and after the rest, he walked to the woods to search for some dry wood for his fire and also looked around to search for foods.

Even though he doesn't need to consume food because of the fasting pills, He still needs it from time to time too, because if he did not eat and wait for 10 months and just relied on the pills, he would forget the joy of eating food.

A few hours later...

"Haha, it looks like lady luck is on my side." Lucifer, who is searching for food, was able to find a tree. This tree is a mango tree, and on the side of the tree, some pineapple plants have fruits.

Lucifer plucks the pineapple from the plants, and after that, he climbs the mango tree and takes about 10 pieces.

And when he was about to come down, he saw a strange fruit on a mango tree. It has a purple color and a shape like an avocado, but it is as big as a watermelon and has some spirals that are placed on the skin of the fruit.

His heart skipped a beat when he saw the fruit because he knew that this fruit was a devil fruit, a fruit that could give a person abilities beyond his comprehension.
