Lucifer point of view

"Brat join the Marines and I'll make you Vice-Admiral quickly!"

I hear what he said and I was stunned in a moment and said to him.

"No" I know for someone, joining the marine is good, but for me it is not.

I don't want to join, because I'll be a dog for the World Government and my freedom will be limited, unlike the pirate, they can do whatever they want and not be shackled by rules.

"This is a good opportunity boy!" Garp insist.

"Although it is good to join the marines, I still don't want to join, because I like freedom and if I join the marines. My freedom will be limited and I wouldn't be able to do a lot of my dreams" I said to Garp what is in my mind and refuse to join the Marines.

"Sure boy, let's go back to Makino's place." Garp walk away and goes towards to Party's Bar of Makino.

"That's all?" I questioned him, because he lost interest after I rejected him a couple of times.

"Do you see that young man earlier, the one with a straw hat?" Garp didn't answer my question. He then ask me about the young man earlier in the Bar.

"Yes?" I said question uncertainty.

"That's one of my grandsons. I always tell him to be a marine... But his dream is to become a pirate... A Pirate King. At first I'm against it, but I know that he is truly happy with his dream and he won't do anything bad. So, I won't stop him chasing his dream. Bwahahahaha" Garp didn't look back and just continued to walk while saying those words.

I was stunned at what he told me in a moment, but after that, a smile formed on my face.

"You are a good grandfather " I looked once again at the back of Garp and smiled genuinely. Because of how considerate, caring, and kind he is.

"Sure sure and hurry up. I'm quite hungry." Garp said to me.

Third person point of view

"I thought Garp-san will beat you up" Makino said and sighed in relief that she saw Lucifer unscratched.

"Oyyy Makino-chan what do you think of me?" Garp complained at Makino.

"Haha. No need to be concerned. We just spar a little bit and it is not really a serious one." Lucifer said to Makino while laughing.

"By the way, Makino, where is Luffy?" Garp ask the dark green hair lady.

"Oh! After he finished eating. He is sleeping in one of my rooms. " Makino said to Garp who asked about where his grandson was.

"I see. Well where are my rice crackers? I'm quite hungry " Garp then look for what he ordered earlier.

"Wait I'm going to pick it..." Makino leave the room and go to the kitchen at the back of the counter and took the rice crackers that Garp ordered.

"Here!" Makino carrying a huge plate full of rice crackers.

"Thanks Makino *crack* *crack" Garp thank the dark green hair lady while eating some of the senbei.

"What about you, Lucifer?" Makino ask the young man beside of Garp.

"Do you have orange juice?" Lucifer ask Makino.

"Yes, I still have some oranges." Makino said and make orange juice in front of the two man.

"Me too Makino. I also want to have" Garp said.

"Sure!" After a few minutes, three glasses of orange juice can be seen at the counter and Makino gives one of each pair of glasses to Lucifer, Garp, and one for herself too.

"*Pwah* " Garp drank the orange juice in one gulp and after that he left at the bar.

"Thanks Makino for the food. I am going home now, see you tomorrow and you too, boy!" Garp said to the two of them.

"How's your week going?" Makino broke the silence and asked Lucifer.

"To be honest it's pretty good. I met some people and made a friend" Lucifer then told her what he experienced when he was out of 'adventure'. He also told her about the friend he made which is Nami, and Nojiko.

He also told her about why he took so long to come back to the village. Although, Lucifer, telling her what he experienced. He didn't tell her the whole thing, like for example, about the corruption of marines, the pirates that extort the whole Cocoyashi Village residents for so many years.

He doesn't want to Makino to know what he did, because some 'things' need to be kept secret. Though if she asks, he will tell her.

'If she asked about it' Lucifer inwardly said.

"So you missed them already that's why you ordered orange juice?" Makino pouting said.

"No, Orange juice is one of my favorite drinks so that's why I ordered it. Also, it is good for your body" Lucifer tries to dodge the bullet and it looks like he did.

"I see. *Haahhhh* " Makino yawn and her eyelids are trembling, because she is quite sleepy.

"Well it looks like you are sleepy now huh... I'll leave now and see yah tomorrow " Lucifer looks at the sleepy lady.

"I'm not " Makino said to him.

"Alright, Alright, there's still tomorrow. Good night my Emerald" After saying it, Lucifer, hurriedly left at the bar and left alone the dark green haired lady who was stunned at what he called to her.

"Ma...my.. My Emerald. Kyah!" Makino covered her face with her hands and weakly shouted.

Makino point of view

I shout weakly and still over what he calls me.

"My Emerald " I muttered while patting my burning cheeks.

I walk towards the entrance of my bar and look at the leaving shadow figure of him. He is waving at me while not looking back.

"That was unfair, Lucifer " I said weakly that even if there are people besides me they will not hear it.

"How would I sleep if you call me 'My Emerald' " I said in myself and close the door of my bar and walk towards my room.

When I'm in my room. I leap at my bed and face it while moving my feet upside and down.
