4 Chapter 2: Found then Sold... Part 2

[Main Character's Point of View]

When I first opened my eyes to this world, I expected to have all of my cheats with me but that was not the case. I do not have the knowledge of this world anymore but the simple fact that I wished for Mahoraga's ability as a Nen, accounting for Post-mortem Nen along with the End as a talent, being a Fanalis while I was still not believing that the dream was real is concerning.

It meant that the world had enough danger for me to wish for those perks and for them to be accepted. Now you can imagine my horror slash surprise when I opened my eyes and found a blue transparent screen that had a message on it.

[Hello, you must be thinking of how you are going to use your perks to live your life so I thought it would be best to tell you right now before you already made plans. Things happened and your Nen ability had some glitches since if you refused to accept a counter ability long enough during the adaptation process you could get any overpowered ability in Anime...

Or so I would like to say but the truth is, you did not specify WHEN you would get your Nen ability and since I felt bad for forgetting to give your memory of death to you before the wish-granting was done, I figured I would tell you that you will get your Nen ability once you reach seventeen years of age. Have fun!]

The screen disappeared shortly after I finished reading it and then not five minutes later I was found by someone. He brought me somewhere else and talked to other people. I did not understand what they said at first but thanks to the End, I learned their language fast.

[AN: I am pulling a DEUS EX MACHINA for language and will also do it for writing and reading because automatically assuming that he understands and can read and write the language of the One Piece world is far-fetched considering the childhood I am planning on giving him.]

I wished I did not because after I started understanding them, I learned that they were going to sell me as a Slave. I was a baby so there was nothing I could do outside of shitting my diaper or pissing in them.

This was not a manhwa where at the age of two months old I could compete with the thousandth strongest man in the world. I was a Fanalis but they assumed that I was half-Lunarian because I had some of their physical characteristics.

This meant I was worth a lot of money because Lunarian whatever that race is, was rare and special enough to be rewarded a fortune if someone had information about them... or so I overheard the adults say, I could not hear anything else because I got sleepy.

Hm? What kind of excuse is that? Well, excuse me for having the body of a fucking baby and needing to sleep when my body tells me to. I can not even control my bowel movements, what makes you think I can control the rest of my body?

Anyway, after a few months, I was sold to the Zoldyck where I was taught a lot of things, beaten a lot of time, starved even more times, and tortured outside of torture classes occasionally for being a troublemaker.

Through all of that, I did not try to escape because I knew it was not the right time to do so. I was still a kid which meant that even as a Fanalis I could not fight the adults of the Zoldyck's elite force that were in charge of hunting down those that ran away. I needed to be at least ten years old if I wanted to fight them on equal strength.

I became a troublemaker because I overheard that the troublemaker would be sent to an Island where they would forced to fight for their lives while earning money for the Zoldyck Family. I also overheard the guards stating that the troublemaker would be told a lie when they arrived.

The lie was that if they won a thousand matches without losing even once they would regain their freedom since that was the rule of the Colosseum where they would be fighting. The truth was that even if they managed to win a thousand matches in a row, the Zoldyck Family would kill them as soon as they left the Island's horizon.

This part did not bother me because, by the time I won a thousand matches, I would have already become old enough to match the Zoldyck's elite force in terms of physical abilities. Still, I did not just twiddle my thumbs while I was trained slash tortured by the Zoldycks.

With the End as a talent, I tried to use it to its maximum abilities while keeping it hidden. I pretty much knew all of their assassination techniques since I witnessed them one way or another. Side note, they execute those who try to escape in a different way than the previous execution.

The advantage I have as a kid is that the adults underestimate me and think I am as dumb as a brick, my heightened hearing also helps. Thanks to that I was able to learn about Menthos, the greedy Zoldyck who was sent to Eisleymos because he was not strong enough to hold a significant position within the family.

When I got to Eisleymos, I noticed that he was eyeing us like he was evaluating our worth which should not be the case since his instructions should be to just use us to make money for the Zoldyck. It was only at night that I understood why he looked at us like that.

He wanted to make an army of super-genius slaves to become the head of the Zoldyck Family. I could use that to my advantage since to become strong I would need to fight strong opponents and copy their techniques before adding them to my arsenal by making them stronger.

I could not do that while I was with the Zoldycks because I was afraid that they would just say that it would be better to just off me. Menthos was different because he had too much greed to kill me off like that.

Still, the reason why decided to do that was because the techniques that I managed to recreate with the End are too strong for me to use right now. The thing that differentiates the End from any other copying ability is the fact that the user does not need to see the ability to copy it.

A second description is enough so using my knowledge of all the fiction work I read or saw, I tried to recreate them and I technically succeded though I have yet to use them in real life since I never had the freedom to try them.

A set of the techniques I recreated is Madra's Swordsmanship also known as the Undefeated King's Swordsmanship from Overgeared. Now tell me that does not sound overpowered, it literally has the word Undefeated in its name. For those who do not know of Overgeared here is a the overview.

Madra's swordsmanship is composed of moving only the upright and forward-facing upper body to put strength into the waist without using legs. A single crushing blow is the essence of Madra's swordsmanship.

This is the same for the 100 000 Army Swordsmanship and One Million Army Swordsmanship. Sword Energy is collected at a single point to increase speed and power, which can be considered perfect.

In particular, Madra's swordsmanship contains a trick that maximizes the flow of air, initiated by peculiar stances to spread out sword energy like hot wind. Therefore the consumption of mental power, physical strength, and sword energy is very high.

I do not have sword energy but once I have Nen, I will be able to completely replicate it. Currently, I can just replicate the form but even if you exclude the sword energy, it is a powerful skill when you take into account my Fanalis physique.

Still, those who have not trained above a certain level cannot afford the backlash. In the novel, the bones of the death knight from Madra were too weak to endure the shock of the full swordsmanship, the original. This is the reason why I can not use it currently, it might mess my body up.

The techniques of Madra's swordsmanship can be divided into two separate categories. There are techniques that use Intangible Will for an additional effect with no focus on power and can be used with less burden.

I overheard Menthos saying something called Haki which could potentially be the Nen of this world. I need more info about it but lucky, from what I overheard from the guard of the Eisleymos' Colosseum, the top fighter of the Colosseum apparently uses something called Haki.

Finally, there are techniques that are focused on cutting down the enemy and it is important to preserve every bit of power, including a backlash, the 'Army Massacre Sword' techniques. But the true value is only exerted from at least the 500 000 Army Massacre Sword, everything else is a basic technique.

Anyway, my first opponent in the Colosseum, looked familiar. He was an extremely large, muscular man, who easily towers above most adults. His hair is tied into a ponytail, which extends down his waist. He has long sideburns, which continue down onto his neck and are long enough to be tied up in small pony-tail tufts.

He wears armor on his left shoulder and upper arm, plus a red hat with tassels. The left side of his chest is left exposed by his armor. He uses twin axes in battle. He looked like Jidanbō from the bleach. The announcer spoke and confirmed my doubts about his name.

"Give it up for the most anticipated to win in the new slave batch… Giant twin Axe: Jidanbō!!!"

I was facing Jidanbō with armor. I showed a deadpan expression as I was dumbfounded at the resemblance. He even has Jidanbō's weapons. This Jidanbō possesses two giant axes, which are several times larger than an average Human.

He typically only uses one while in combat, with the other being kept tucked inside of his armor, and has the kanji 兕 engraved on their blades in garnet red. The force caused by the impact of these axes is enough to create massive fissures in the ground. I know that because he just struck the ground as a way to make an entrance.

"Are you ready to face your DOOM!"

"Ji! Dan! Bō!"

"Ji! Dan! Bō!"

"Ji! Dan! Bō!"

"Ji! Dan! Bō!"

He exclaimed as he pointed one of his axes toward me with a sadistic grin. Hm… Guess he really wants to kill me then again; the winner gets one step closer to freedom. Though he was not brought in by the Zoldyck he should not have to worry about being killed once he is freed.

Then again, that is if he had another opponent but since he is facing me, he is guaranteed to lose. The crowd seems to be going hysterically at Jidanbō's declaration. The referee looks at both of us before shouting.

"Let the battle…START!"

Jidanbō lunges at me with his axe brought backward for more force to be unleashed as he exclaims a threat.

"DIE!"

*TANK! *

I easily block his attack with the sword that I picked for this Match much to everyone else's surprise. The sword I had chosen looked like the Dragon Slayer Sword from Beserk. His shocked expression soon turns into that of an excited one.

"Finally, a worthy challenger. Our battle will be legendary… That is if you can withstand this!"

*TANK! *

*TANK! *

*TINK! *

*TANK! *

*TANK! *

*TINK! *

He exclaims as he takes his other axe with his free hand before getting into a fighting position. Excited that he is fighting a tough opponent, Jidanbō unleashes several attacks he declares to be his best, but I easily parry the attacks and destroy his axes as he falls to the ground with one fell swing of my sword which cracks a bit.

Jidanbō stands back up, ready to continue the fight but upon realizing that both his axes have been broken, immediately becomes emotional and breaks down in tears.

"NO~! Not my precious Axe! WAA!"

I turn my now cracked Dragon Slayer Sword to the side and hit Jidanbō with the Fuller of the Dragon Slayer Sword.

"WAA-UGH!"

*BONK! *

*CRACK*

This managed to knock him out as well as crack his skull a bit, much to the surprise of the spectators. I looked at the speechless referee and exclaimed.

"You can announce the winner now."

There is a full minute of silence before someone from the spectators stands up and yells.

"WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS SHIT!? HE GOT BEATEN UP BY A FUCKING KID! I CALL FAUL! THIS MATCH IS DEFINITELY RIGGED! I WANT MY MONEY BACK!"

Another complaint soon followed.

"YEAH! WHAT HE SAID!"

More made their opinions known but not all of them were against the outcome of this match.

"WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT? THIS WAS OBVIOUSLY A FAIR GAME! THANK YOU, RAINBOW-EYED KID, YOU JUST MADE ME RICH!"

A riot almost started before the situation was calmed down. My first fight is what brought Menthos' curiosity to me and it was only after the third fight, where I replicated my second opponent's move that Menthos' attention became focused on me.

I was not afraid because after fighting in the Colosseum, I managed to talk to someone who knew the rules and I confirmed a few things. First, the way to be freed from slavery through combat needed to be requested by the Slave and only the Slave in question could ask that right.

Second, once the slave requested the Trial by a thousand blades, he or she would have to face a thousand opponents in a thousand days meaning that you would fight one opponent per day. Third, once the slave requested the Trial by a thousand blades, he was protected by the Colosseum.

I still did not have enough stamina to fight an opponent each day for almost three years. I am still seven years old but once I gain enough experience fighting actual people instead of children my own age then that should give me some leeway for my first fight as I gain Stamina and endurance through them.

[AN: Want more? Like Thanos, I want those STONES!!!]
