99 99- Lucy VS. Kaizen

Kaizen and Akira stood ten meters away from Ethan and the girls, Lucy pointed at the tall person, "Are you the captain? If you are, come and fight me."

"Yes, I am the captain of the Steel Fist Pirates. but I'm curious how you managed to make my pirates and the soldiers of the Kamaz kingdom fight each other." Kaizen smiled as he inspected Ethan and the girls and recognized only three people.

'Ethan, Lucy and Zora are people who have already shown their abilities and do not have the ability to control people, which means that the owner of this ability is either the orange-haired girl or the blonde-haired girl.'

Kaizen knew that the Frauce Kingdom had no one who could control others, so that person must be a member of the SHD Pirates.

"It's Kaya." Lucy pointed at Kaya while answering Kaizen's question.

"LUCY!! Why do you give information to the enemies." Nami cried in shock.

When Kaizen asked the question he never expected them to answer, so even he was shocked when Lucy answered him frankly.

"It's not as if it would make a difference whether I told him or not." Lucy knows that Kaya is next to Ethan, even if Kaizen attacks her, he can't hurt her.

Lucy didn't talk any more to Nami and refocused her attention to Kaizen.

"Fight me." Lucy ran toward Kaizen as she stretches her arm back then throws a devastating punch.

*Gomu Gomu no Pistol*

Akira pulled out the sword hanging on his back and swung it in the path where Lucy's arm was flying towards Kaizen, trying to cut it.

But Zora moved quickly and appeared in front of Akira and blocked the sword, a smile appeared on her face, "I am your opponent."

Akira looked at Zora coldly and then he put more force into his sword, trying to push Zora back or trying to cut her if her sword slipped.

Zora's expression did not change and she remained firmly in place, not taking a single step back.

Meanwhile, Lucy's punch was on its way to Kaizen and when she was about to hit his face he tilted his head aside to simply avoid the attack without making any effort and then grabbed Lucy's arm and pulled her towards him forcefully.

When Lucy flew to his side, he punched her face and dropped her to the ground, but her feet came to his side later than her body and she holds her feet together (with the bottoms of each touching each other) and kicks with both simultaneously via her toes.

*Gomu Gomu no Yari*

The attack headed towards Kaizen's chest but he crossed both arms to repel the attack then moved quickly and kicked Lucy in the stomach and made her fly away to crash into a building.

Moments later, Lucy emerged from the ruins of the building and wiped the blood that came from her nose. that Kaizen's punch and kick could hurt her even though she was rubber.

She was expecting something like this to happen, because Kaya told them that the captain of the Steel Fist Pirates could use Busoshoku Haki and Kenbunshoku Haki.

Although Kaizen has just learned to use Haki and is a complete beginner in Haki, it still gives him the ability to dodge attacks and the ability to hit Devil Fruit users.

A sarcastic smile appeared on Kaizen's face as he looked at Lucy who emerged from the ruins of the building, "You're weaker than I expected. The bounty of 100,000,000 Belly on your head is too much."

Lucy didn't care about Kaizen sarcasm. she just seriously looked at someone standing behind Kaizen trying to punch him, "Ethan stop. You promised me you wouldn't interfere."

Ethan's fist stopped within an inch of smashing Kaizen's head, his eyes were bloodshot and anger was burning inside of him just seeing Lucy getting hit and he really wanted to smash the person who did it.

But upon hearing Lucy's words and seeing the determination in her eyes, Ethan retreated to Kaya's side. But in his heart he swore that if Lucy or Zora left their opponents alive, he would torment them in the most horrific way possible.

'How did this happen? How could he approach me so quickly.' Kaizen stood there in shock, earlier he lost concentration for a moment while mocking Lucy, at these moments Ethan approached him very quickly without noticing.

What Kaizen doesn't know is that even if he doesn't loses his concentration, Ethan might be able to punch him because he's faster.

While Kaizan thought and loses his concentration, he was punched in the face by Lucy.

*Tekkai*

Unfortunately, Lucy's punch wasn't strong enough and didn't even make Kaizen take a single step back.

Kaizen used Tekkai which can hardens the users' muscles to the level of iron, in order to nullify damage taken from attack Lucy.

Yes Kaizen knows how to use Rokushiki because Donquixote Doflamingo gave him the way to learn them.

Kaizen looked at her coldly, expelling all unnecessary thoughts from his mind and starting to concentration on the battle.

Lucy ran towards Kaizen and attacked him again.

*Gomu Gomu no Gatling*

Lucy uses her stretching ability to bring her fists forward repeatedly in a blurry, rapid barrage of strong punches that creates the illusion of her having multiple arms, however she does not actually grow more arms.

Kaizen calmly looked at the endless fists approaching him as soon as the fists reached him, he reached out and simply grabbed Lucy's arms. t was easy for him to catch Lucy's fast-moving arms because he could use Kenbunshoku Haki.

The son of a dog kicked Lucy again but this time he didn't let go of her hands and he continued to drag her to him and kicked her.

Kaizen grabbed one of Lucy's arms and started swinging her in a circle at high speed and then threw her to the ground.

Lucy tried to get up after that, but she feels that her head is spinning and everything she sees in front of her is not fixed, which made her fall down and then after five seconds she regained her focus and was able to get up.

Lucy continued to stand up and attack no matter how much she fell, and gradually began to adapt while fighting with Kaizen.

At this moment, Zora's battle was over, so Ethan moved away from Kaya and went to Zora's side.

Kaizen hit Lucy again and threw her on the ground, but Lucy just stood up and looked at Kaizen and saw him smiling, and right after that he moved very quickly and disappeared from his place.

*Soru*

He appeared behind Kaya while trying to punch her. If this punch hit Kaya, she would definitely be killed. During this period, he was waiting for the right opportunity to kill Kaya in order to stop the chaos within the royal city.

Kaya knew he was going to attack her at some point, so she put Kaizen in an illusion to trick him into thinking she was somewhere else, but unfortunately that didn't work out for Kaizen.

Fortunately for him, he knows the use of Kenbunshoku Haki and will not be affected by illusion, otherwise he would have made a mistake on Kaya's site.

Ethan standing next to Zora could have stopped Kaizen at this moment but he didn't, because he noticed that Lucy moved to protect Kaya herself. before the punch could reach Kaya, Kaizen got punched in his face by Lucy.

*Gear Second*

At this moment, steam was rising from Lucy's body and her skin had turned red, Lucy looked at Kaizen, who had fallen to the ground after receiving her punch, "I am your opponent, so don't you dare touch my friends."

"If you attack one of my comrades again, I will destroy you." Anger was evident on Lucy's face.

Back when she was fighting Kaizen, Lucy was trying to focus on learning Haki, because fighting is a faster way to learn than training.

She somewhat succeeded in what she wanted to do because in the last attack she used a weak Busoshoku Haki and is also close to learning Kenbunshoku Haki.
