35 35- Gecko Island

Hours later, the ship arrived at Gecko Island.

Ethan and the girls anchored the ship near the shore. Then everyone disembarked except Alvida who remained to guard the ship.

While yawning, Zora felt someone was watching them, so she took out her sword from its sheath and warned everyone, "Beware, some people are here."

Not only did Zora notice it, but Kuina and Ethan noticed it as well.

Suddenly the crew was shot from all sides, Zora, Kuina and Lucy were strong enough to fend off all the bullets heading towards them while Makino has the Logia Fruit ability so she won't be hurt by that. The only normal person on the crew is Nami, so Ethan approaches her and protects her from the bullets.

'What is happening? This was not what it was supposed to be.' Ethan thought as he looked around for the people who attacked them, but he noticed Makino breathing deeply while her legs were trembling.

Ethan approaches Makino and sees her looking at her body, which appears to be bleeding from 10 bullet wounds, while there is panic in her eyes.

Her body turned liquid as soon as she heard the sound of gunfire, as a defensive instinct but she was still terrified of what had happened.

"Makino, it's okay you're fine. You shouldn't have an attack like this." Ethan patted her back, when she heard Ethan's words, she remembered that she ate a devil fruit yesterday. She calmed down when she realized that she was not in any pain.

"Hehehehehe, I'm the captain of the Usopp Pirates who controls this island." A boy came out of some bush. He is dark-skinned with medium length black hair, prominent lips and a long nose, he has a good physique as if he has been training his body for a long time with a sharp look in his eyes. He wears an olive green plaid handkerchief, and a blue and white striped badge on his left arm, along with special sniper goggles.

'Is this person really Usopp? Why does he look taller and more muscular than he is in the anime and manga." Ethan was shocked when he looked at Usopp, at first thinking Usopp would be female like the rest of the crew, he sighed in relief because Usopp hadn't become a female.

"I can see that you are pirates from the design of your ship, although it does not have a flag yet." Usopp said while looking at the ship.

"Your ship seems to fit my crew of pirates. Leave it here and go, otherwise 80 million of my subordinates will absolutely crush you," Usopp said with a big smile on his face.

"liar." Nami looked at Usopp with contempt, his lie was so obvious that any sane person would know he was a liar.

When Usopp heard Nami's words, he grabbed his head and swayed strangely while saying, "My lie has been caught, that's bad."

Everyone looked at him strangely, none of them expected a muscular person like him to act this way.

Suddenly a tall man appeared from behind Usopp looking at Ethan and the others with disdain, and more and more people started to appear and surrounded Ethan and the crew, 'What's going on here? Is Usopp really that strong to recruit so many people.'

"Haha, yes the captain is a bad liar, this island is too small for 80 million people, they sure wouldn't believe it."

"But it is unfortunate for them that even if the captain lied about our number, it is still a very large number."

"The captain has good eyes to see this ship from a distance, and this ship is really good."

Usopp looked at Ethan and the girls while saying, "Leave your ship here, and I'll let you get off this island safely, don't worry I'll give you some boats you can use to get out of here."

Alvida on the ship watched all of this so she got off too. Ethan looked at Nami and said seriously, "Nami, get on the ship and hide."

Nami had heard the happiest words in her life, Ethan's words sounded like a beautiful song, but she didn't want to hear it any more at this moment so she ran straight towards the ship.

"Makino, you can go back to the ship too." When Makino heard Ethan's words, she shook her head in disapproval and said, "It's okay I'm fine they can't touch me anyway."

Ethan nodded, then looked at Usopp and said, "I refuse to give you my ship. What are you going to do about it? Are you going to kill us?"

"If you really choose to refuse, you will leave me no choice but to kill you." All of his subordinates pulled out their weapons and looked at Ethan fiercely.

'How did Usopp become a pirate?' What about the villagers and Kaya, are they okay? This is really worrying' Ethan thought anxiously, he didn't know if Usopp was evil or good in this world right now.

"Attack them." When Usopp saw that Ethan had not listened to him, he ordered his subordinates to attack.

'I didn't want to kill anyone who joined the Straw Hats in the original series, but you are forcing me to do so' Ethan was enraged by Usopp's actions, so he pulled the two swords around his waist and gave orders. "Attack."

Alvida stepped forward while swinging her mace hard at the Usopp Pirate crew in front of her. The attack was powerful and everyone who was hit had their bones broken.

Some people tried to hit her with a sword or use guns to shoot her but it was all useless, because all the attacks slipped away from her body.

"That girl is a Devil Fruit user." Usopp looked at this and analyzed her fighting method and her fruit's abilities. Then he looked at one of the people standing next to him and said seriously, "Masato, go fight her, you are the best fit for that."
