276- Ethan VS Kairi & Cyrus

Ethan had no desire to speak and wanted to kill them as soon as possible.

Ethan raised his hand and within an instant a violent wind appeared under Kairi and Cyrus and flung them high into the air.

The two of them were shocked and didn't know what had happened or how Ethan had managed to do this.

Ethan did not wait for a moment and purple lightning started surrounding his body and destroying the surrounding area then Ethan raised his hands towards the two and the lightning started to condense in his palm.

Killing intent appeared in Ethan's eyes and intense purple lightning shot toward the two of them.

Halfway through, the lightning turned into an eastern dragon and quickly rushed toward the two of them, opening its mouth and devouring the two of them.

Then a violent explosion occurred and the lightning was so bright that everyone on the island closed their eyes.

When the lightning disappeared, Kairi and Cyrus appeared.

Kairi rendered her body intangible at the last moment so she did not suffer any damage.

But Cyrus didn't have this ability but he was fairly fine and his entire body was black because he covered his entire body with Armament Haki.

Cyrus even though he ate a Logia-type Devil Fruit, he continued to train his body and didn't rely on the Devil Fruit's strength too much, unlike the rest of the Logia users.

That's why he had such a high stamina, a solid body, and a strong Haki, after all he wasn't nicknamed one of the Five Emperors for no reason.

Kairi catches Cyrus before he falls to the ground because he can't fly while she manipulates the space below her to stand on the air and then looks at Ethan carefully and seriously, "I thought you ate a devil fruit that allows you to manipulate space but now you use wind and lightning. What kind of devil fruit did you eat?"

Kairi then looked at the space cage seriously, "And what is this technique? I feel like I can't get out of this island even with my space manipulation."

Ethan looked at her indifferently. "All you need to know is you can't escape."

Although he didn't say this, the real goal of creating the Space Cage Technique is to not allow Kairi to use teleportation to escape which means she is trapped on this island.

Ethan used teleportation and appeared next to her but he didn't aim at her but kicked Cyrus who was next to her.

Cyrus crossed his hands and used the Armament Haki but because he was in the air and there was nothing standing on him, he was sent to the ground very fast and when his body hit the ground it created a huge crater with the flames blazing hard and causing a slight earthquake on the island.

She manipulated the space around her and pushed Ethan away.

Kairi clicked her tongue and looked at Ethan with intent to kill, she is trapped on this island and the only way to remove the space cage was to kill Ethan.

"Die!!" Kairi raised her hand and controlled the space around Ethan, causing him to twist and smash toward him.

If Ethan was an ordinary person, his body would have been crushed and turned into a paste of flesh and blood. But Ethan's body was similar to steel in strength plus he used Armament Haki to envelop his entire body.

However, Ethan still felt his body twisting strangely so he quickly used Geppo and Suro to get away from the area.

*Hell pillar*

A dense pillar of flame shot toward Ethan and was hit directly.

"Don't underestimate us, brat." Cyrus came out of the hole and was perfectly fine. After all, hitting him on the ground didn't hurt him at all because he had a Logia-type Devil Fruit. "We are the strongest pirates in this sea."

"I don't underestimate you." Ethan slowly exited the flame pillar as if the flames were not affecting him.

"How did you survive that without getting hurt?" Although it didn't appear on Cyrus's face, he was very shocked because the flame temperature in his attack exceeded 1,100 degrees Celsius.

"Find out the answer for yourself." After saying this, Ethan disappeared from his place.

Cyrus clenched his fist and it was surrounded by white fire and then turned around and threw a powerful punch at Ethan who appeared behind him.

Ethan's punch collided with Cyrus's punch and black lightning started to surround them and destroy the surrounding area but the white flames kept moving from Cyrus' fist towards Ethan and burned his arm.

A frown appeared on Ethan's face.

His sleeve was burned and some minor burns appeared on his arm even though he was using Armament Haki and Conqueror Haki to protect an arm.

But he didn't care because it was just a minor burn and he moved his other arm quickly and punched Cyrus's stomach very quickly, causing him to spit blood from his mouth and then Cyrus was thrown back very quickly.

Cyrus's body crashed into a building and then his body turned into a flame and the entire building was burned.

Ethan moved toward Cyrus to continue crushing him, but the space around him was starting to get denser and harder to move inside.

Kairi in the sky was holding a sword and around her sword condensed space energy and then swung it towards Ethan and a giant blade made of space energy was created.

It was difficult to avoid this attack so Ethan wanted to use teleportation but that also failed so he had to face the attack head-on.

With great difficulty Ethan moved his arm within this dense space and punched the giant blade.

There was a big explosion and the whole island started to shake violently and dust rose everywhere.

When the dust covering the scene disappeared, Kairi could see Ethan standing still as he stared coldly at her but his right arm was bleeding profusely. "I was expecting this attack to split you in half."

Ethan noticed that her manipulation of space has increased dramatically. "Is this the Awakening Of your Devil Fruit."

Also note that she is trying to destroy his Space Cage using her space manipulation to try to find a hole in the Space Cage, "Don't try, even if you find flaws I will fix them before the cage is destroyed."

While saying this, Ethan used the life energy to heal his right arm and no need to treat his left hand that had minor burns because his body had already healed those wounds. Kairi didn't notice that Ethan actually cured himself because the blood on his clothes and body was still there.

Kairi clicked her tongue and continued swinging her sword to shoot more giant blades at Ethan while part of her mind was focused on penetrating the space cage and another part of her mind was making the space around Ethan more dense to make his movements slower and prevent him from using teleportation.

Ethan also splits part of his mind to repair the space cage while trying to manipulate the space around him to make his movements faster and also punch every giant blade that comes close to him.

The whole island was shaking with every attack and it was like the end of the world, injuries started to accumulate on Ethan's body but his Armament Haki and Conqueror Haki started getting stronger and stronger and he started to improve dramatically in space manipulation.

Ethan was very calm as he used the life energy to treat his injuries while getting stronger very quickly.

This life energy didn't come out of nowhere but rather he stole it from the pirates he had captured over the past months.
