Chap 17 SCOUTING

After reding the map ang the descriptions clearly I got the rough understanding of it places named with green color meant safe zones for me where any average person can survive. Places named with yellow color meant that place had threat but can also survive with caution and skill and strength. Blue meant that place was more dangerous than yellow and had unknown elements in them. Red meant clear danger for survival and needed lot of strength or as in my case a luck , lots of it. The place named in color Black , the only one on the map must be the final boss to face in this island before starting the journey. That must have been what the cap jack planned.

After reading the map again I decided to continue my training as per my time table but alter it just a bit to adjust to my sudden exponential increase in standard of living.

In addition to my physical training I would also explore the whole islands yellow areas and hunt from these areas as they served as the perfect training spots for me to fight in real combat situation.

I knew that real experience mattered a lot in a fight, to determine ones own strength more clearly and that a person increased much more in practical situations and life and death battles than just continues self practice. I would first explore all the yellow areas and then once I was sure about my strength and had fought in different environments then I would move to blue areas to check it out. After them I would defeat the red dangers and finally, I decided to challenge the legendary tatsu's cave at the end and then set sail after tacking the cap jack's treasure. I was unsure if a real dragon lurked there and if it did my ability to defeat it, but I guessed it was something which definitely far exceeded my current capabilities so I figured I would cross that bridge when I came to it.

Today I decided to tour all the nearby yellow areas in a circle. I planned to do it by reading the map and scouting the situation clearly to also see if the map is accurate even now or outdated.

I decided to check out the yellow places in the order first 'Deer's den' then continue onwards to 'Goats guard' and towards the farthest place in today's rout, where it was described to snow with area 'Yak's bask' .

On the returning journey I planned to go on right to the edge of the 'Wild wolves' and to last but not the least 'Rabbits hole'. I figured I might as well hunt some rabbits on my way back which will settle dinner.

The plan was of a journey which would take place till evening and eat fruit for lunch. I knew it might be hard in my old world, but I was in one piece and was a D so I was pretty sure I could do this much for today. After preparing the old backpack left here with the survival tool box, some ropes, two knives, one sword , three water container and some dry fruits from kitchen and I was on my way for the first 'planned' adventure of mine on this island.
