BACKGROUND:

Pete, also known as "Rabbet" Riddle Pete, is the first mate and an officer of the Straw Hat Pirates in the One Piece universe. He possesses impressive magic and comedy skills, mainly due to his Devil Fruit, the Hito Hito no Mi, Model: Comedian (Human-Human Fruit, Model: Comedian).

In his past life, Pete's soul was sent to the One Piece universe due to an unknown accident. However, in One Piece, he is reincarnated as a bunny rabbit, not a human or any other sentient race. As a bunny rabbit, he was unsure of his future and place in this world, where power is the number one rule. Therefore, he wandered the surrounding forest and found an unknown tree holding a strange-looking fruit. He plucked and ate it, realizing it was a Devil Fruit, which allowed him to become a Human Comedian.

His Devil Fruit ability, Comic Relief, allows him to manipulate reality by thinking of something funny. He can create objects, substances, and scenarios out of nothing with this power. He is immune to pain and almost any disease and can stretch parts of his body, pop his eyes out, and change his head into different animals. He can also warp anything he sees into anything he wants, making him a formidable opponent.

However, Pete must be confident in his sense of humor to use his power effectively. If he loses concentration, he becomes vulnerable to attacks. The user's abilities can also be resisted using Haki, but the situation is slightly null if the user also has Haki.
